What could improve??? Food, ambience, service, price! Our group ordered 2 blackened grouper baskets and 1 small order of supposedly charbroiled oysters. Only ice tea to drink. Fish was raw. Hushpuppues were burned to a crisp. Oysters were in no way charbroiled but were steamed. Server made very sure as she sat us at our dirty table that we knew she was hurting for money, it being Christmas and all and with three hungry kids at home. If you enjoy a dirty, filthy dump--a true dive bar with extremely loud drunks and cigarette smoke wafting in the windows from outside--and you enjoy an $80 price tag for crap food, then come on in. Loved This quaint restaurant. It really made you think you were sitting on the front porch, eating a homemade meal, right down to the onion rings. I know they had to be hand bartered because they were just like my mother's. The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The sweet tea - perfect. Not too sweet, just right. The inside was like an older farm house but with a bar and a stage. was there at 2pm so no live music but they do it i. the afternoon. the service was smooth, easy, pleasant and accurate. they are open late and the menu is priced reasonably. i enjoyed my visit and plan on going back and taking some friends. Received the appetizer and burger after a long wait, no big deal, it was busy with a biker poker run. Never received the chicken tenders we ordered. After about an hour and 15 minutes, we asked our server for the check and to remove the chicken tenders. We had asked her twice to bring them. She then said "I brought them, did you forget?!" So I just asked her to remove them from the bill and no big deal. About 10 minutes later she strolled by and threw a go box (w/chicken tenders inside) and the check and wouldn't respond when we tried to tell her NO. Still tipped her but absolutely awful service and very rude. Won't be back. read more

Went with friends on Sunday Nov 17th at about 1:30. Service was terrible, waitress seemed very overwhelmed. Food took over an hour and one couple had to reorder. The waitress blamed it on the cook not sure that was the case. Meanwhile bartender behind the bar doing nothing she could have jumped in and lended a hand. Check came and 2 additional drinks(20.00) had been added. Bartender didn't seem capable of removing them. This was our first time may be our last. I have been to this place several times, and would definitely recommend it! However, my favorite thing that I would recommend is their church services on Sunday morning! I brought my kids on Sunday, thought it was quite a novel idea. I enjoyed the sermon emmensely! I thought before going that you are going to church at a restaurant, but that isn't exactly the case. It is more that the church, "The Gathering" is using the restaurant to house the services currently. Great, either way. Passed through Lillian on my way to Perdido Key Beach and I was surprised at how good this little hole in the wall was! They have a pretty limited menu but I felt as though they had a good variety of options from what they had. Mostly had sandwiches, a good bit of appetizers, salad, and wings. I ordered the cheeseburger and I was definitely impressed by it! I loved their fries because they were crispy. My family enjoyed their reuben, club, and french dip sandwiches. I was disappointed in how they were out of many of their menu items when we went, but the items we were able to order were pretty impressive! Our waiter was friendly and we sat in the cute and fun little outside area. It was hot outside, but they had fans which made it bearable to sit outside in the summer heat. They had a stage for live music and I just adored the atmosphere altogether, such a neat little spot! I would definitely give this place a try if in the area! read more

We haven't been to Johnnie B Front Porch for 10 months. We're working on our property-didn't want to drive over to Pensacola or Foley plus rain was impending.. It was Friday night at 5:00, plenty of tables. A musician was playing guitar and singing. People all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good music! Server told us to sit wherever we liked. Server asked if we would like anything to drink and we asked for water since we still have work to do tonight. They have always had the best Reuben sandwiches which is what I always order when I have chance. Server said they stopped serving Reuben's and they also no longer offer fish or seafood except for a shrimp salad. Menu was pretty basic. I ordered cheeseburger; husband ordered club sandwich since there was no fish. French fries were very good; my cheeseburger was okay. He said his club was okay. We enjoyed the music and ambience around us. Server was very pleasant, efficient and accommodating. I'm still disappointed they no longer serve Reuben's. We thought the meal was expensive for what we received. $30.00 plus we added tips for both server and musician so we paid over $40.00. At the same time, economy is not good and everything seems too expensive now. We must be careful about expenses and likely will think twice about going out next time. We probably will eat there again sometime but want to check out other places first. One more thing. Owner needs to remove the Reuben and Grouper sandwich from menu ad on Yelp and elsewhere since those are no longer available. read more

It was nice. The food was good and the ambiance was ok. There was a football game on and I don't watch football, but it's pretty normal too. It's open air. The weather was great when we went so we sat outside. Met some very nice people there and our waitress was nice too. We were excited to have to try the muffuletta but they stopped serving it. Over all it's a nice little lunch spot. There was an older man who gave us a death stare when we parked. We thought we may have parked in the employee parking area, but there's no signs. ‍ he didn't say anything either so maybe he was just having a bad day. I recommend this place tho. On Thursday Feb 11 a group of 10 of us went to Front Porch. Part of my order included an Elberta Sausage Sandwich. I took a bite, swallowed it and noticed the texture didn't seem right. I looked at what was left and the inside of this pork sausage was raw. After several minutes trying to get someone attention I went to the owner and showed his the sandwich expecting a sincere apology. Instead, the owner tells me, "I didn't cook it". Shocked, I said, "you own this place, it's your responsibility". He then said, "well look how cooked it is on the outside". I told him, "this is pork, I could get salmonella. People die from this". He said "what do you want me to do about it". I said "an apology and a cooked sandwich would be nice". At this point, he proceeded to utter a f bomb tirade at me and told me to get f... out of the restaurant. I was absolutely shocked. As I was preparing to leave, he came over to the table and launched another f bomb tirade. It was so crazy everyone was stunned and said nothing. I left within a couple of minutes. As bad as that was, I would have dropped it until I ran into my friend the next day. He said after I left, he came back and told him that he had spend some years in federal prison and that if he saw me outside the restaurant he would "mess me up". Unbelievable!
