Crusted Ahi Salad was fresh and tasty not too much dressing. (A lot of places overwhelm the salad

Food was fantastic ! I had the Seared Ahi salad it was phenomenal! The Ahi was just right not over seared light and the dressing was just the right amount of tangy ! The salad was fresh and crisp ! The wife had the Ultimate BLT bacon was crispy and crunchy and the tomato's were super juicy bread was roasted perfectly! The fries were great !

    Burnt and day old bacon

Cafe Bellini normally is my favorite place! However today I didn't have a great experience at all, my food was very over cooked! The bacon is a day old you literally can see it. The pancakes were burnt and hard to eat, like I didn't know it was that hard to cook pancakes! The potatoes are extremely hard too, I didn't even touch them, and once I complained to their server she wasn't helpful at all and had a HUGE ATTITUDE which I didn't appreciate either. If you want someone to be rude and not helpful to you then yes come on down to Cafe Bellini were the food is a day old and the pancakes are burnt and dry as heck! And the potatoes are worse too

Came here for Happy Hour and loved their food menu. Ahi Poke is especially good deal. We got cauliflower, chicken wings and chicken quesadilla. Everything tasted great! Happy hour is at 3-6 pm from Monday to Saturday. You can watch the games there too.

Came here with friends on Christmas day. It gives a country home-y vibe. We were seated immediately and our server came soon afterwards to take our drink order. I had Baileys and coffee, while my friend had a Mermaid Bellini (midori). Both very good. For brunch, I had the California omelet, my friend had the chilaquillas, and her partner had the Morning quesadilla. They give you a lot of food, and all of it was well prepared and tasty.

Lunch at Cafe Bellini did not disappoint. Our party of 5 dined around noon on a Saturday with no wait. The outside sitting is a plus on a nice day. The portions are big at Cafe Bellini. Almost all had to go boxes for salads and sandwiches. Our server was attentive and made sure refills were coming in. Next time I am in the area, I will visit again!

Breakfast was fantastic. Busy place but super fast service and food. The Corned Beef Hash with eggs is delicious. I love the crust on the hash, and the potatoes are excellent. Big portion too! Highly recommended!

Wow--such a great experience! Sabrina was incredibly warm and accommodating for us as a walk-in, which instantly set the tone. Jessica the bartender made an amazing raspberry lemon drop--honestly one of the best I've had. The onion rings were perfectly crispy with a panko crust and super flavorful. Friendly service and solid food/drinks all around. Highly recommend!

Ask the Community - Cafe Bellini

    Serving st Patrick's dinner?

Yes! I was there for lunch today and asked if they had any corned beef and cabbage and the wait staff informed me that they would start serving it at 3 PM. Since it's almost 4 PM you should be good to go.

    Where is parking?

Right in front. It's a large parking lot that is in front of the restaurant and wraps around the side.

Are dogs allowed in their outside patio area?

Yes. There's always a lot of dogs with people eating outside. Especially on the weekends.

Do they have a happy hour? If so, what are the hours? Thanks

The rather delectable looking menu, and the drinks specials are listed on their website.

I can't seem to find your hours here, can you please let us know what your hours are? Thank you!

    Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm Friday and Saturday 8am-9pm Sunday 8am-3pm

    Is there a Full bar?

    Yes

The team there were personable, attentive and genuinely cared about giving their guests a great experience. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and calamari for apps, the teres major steak and fried chicken for dinner and then the lemon cheesecakes and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Our child is still just a baby but this restaurant is kid friendly but is still a good venue for couples looking for a date night. Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. This restaurant I would proudly recommend to all my friends. I would have rated it higher than a five if I could have.

Service - the gal behind oysters bar was very skilled, very informative, and kept the food comin'. She created I wish I could call her out by name but it wasn't on the receipt that was texted to me. Food - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11! * Lemonade was had good lemon taste and just the right acid/sugar balance. I learned that a batch is made each day, and occasionally two. The best I've had anywhere in Sonoma County or Marin County! * I order the first three items on the oyster list (this time two of each) and came up with a new favorite. Then I added four more to the favorite. At 81 I don't do well on short term memory! I love that what was done so right was the lemon and the mignonette (sp?) sauce that was exactly balanced. The last restaurant in Ptown and two absolutely terrible with a red and a white. * Next I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. They screamed fresh, perfectly boiled that let the shrimp flavor out, and again the red sauce was perfectly balanced between flavor and heat. Had to made in house. And they just nicely crisply cool, not in a cold place that overwhelms the flavor. I don't think I've every had one this good! * Next was a pair of fried oysters. I was prepared for some oily, bready things that would ruin all of the above. BUT NO, the perfect balance was incredible!! * Last was the clam chowder. I'm soooo fussy about this after growing up in the NorthEast (Connecticut) and 4 years of college in Maine blew this one away. It lacked the perfection and freshness of my East Coast standard. But I finished with the last of lemonade and all was well. My standard has never been "perfect." I don't meet that standard, so the chef shouldn't have to either. Hey, maybe he's never been in Maine! P.S. there's not section for this, because the above doesn't happen without OWNERS that create processes and hire people that and buy the best incredients. Kudos, gals!!

One downside is that drinks are slow to come out. The restaurant shares the hotel lobby bar. If that bar is busy, it seems like the restaurant dunks are lower priority. Four stars because of the speed of the drinks - otherwise, is a must go-to!!

My only Issue was the mayo based dip. It threw me off and couldn't eat them. Saved for the next day to enjoy them. My Peruvian go to is always the Lomo Saltado. And being that my first taste of it was in Portland, Oregon, it set the standard for me. This one was in a whole lot of gravy, which I'm not used to at all. It was good, but felt and tasted like a stew. The picture is me pulling up the meat, onions and tomatoes to the surface. So there was even more liquid than it appears. We also had the Aji de Gallina, which was chicken with rice and there flavorful sauce. It was delicious.

The bar and the dining room area appeared very modern and clean. Started our meal with the Gochujang glazed cauliflower wings and they were phenomenal! Beneath the deliciously flavored glaze was a crunchy fried cauliflower that maintained its veggie tenderness! The allium dip was a bonus because it elevated the flavor to another dimension. This was definitely one of our favorite items of the night! The Parker rolls were served with a homemade butter and they were light and airy which made them pair nicely with the fresh golden beet salad. They served a very generous portion of lettuce and added all kinds of goodies in it- the burrata, pumpkin seeds , homemade french bread croutons , tomatoe and beets lightly coated with the balsamic dressing - yum! Moving onto the main entrees: the Lamb Rigatoni was served with al dente pasta in a light lemony cream sauce that combined shredded lamb shank with green peas. Was quite tasty and it was a nice change of pace from eating pasta with beef bolognese . The other entree was the Beef Wellington and it was rich ; the filet was cooked perfectly! We enjoyed every bite of this superb dish. Our meal ended with the chocolate mousse and the panna cotta which were equally delicious! After seeing the menu, my number one choice was the beef Wellington, second choice would have been the Bijou Burger. My SO wanted the Oxtail, but was thinking of an appetizer that would be just right. so the Trout Dip was chosen. This was a half processed fish and half avacado packed into a bowl. Scooping both halves was the best of both worlds. The dip was smooth and great flavors, I would get this again. Then when the entrees came out, and we started eating, half way throught both items were quite heavy and we started to feeling full. The beef Wellington was cooked to a medium consistency, the crust as still firm and mushroom filing great. The oxtail was so tender, it falls off the bone. A different flavoring but fantastic. We ended up taking the oxtail home as it would be diffcult to reheat beef Wellington. No room for dessert. It felt like mostly repeat locals dining here as they chatted with the wait staff a lot, but feel this deserve the hour drive to get here. Parking is avalaible street parking but there is a multi level parking garage near by. After that big meal, we walked around downtown and there was moderate activing and late night dining still going on. I will have to check out other near by areas in the future

We were going to order only 1 churro but the server offered that the churros are gluten free so we ordered two orders! The menu doesn't say this, so FYI. They were one of the best potato preparations I've ever had. Shockingly fluffy and light inside literally like a potato cloud. Maybe the cheese helps with this? I don't know but get them. Salad was good, nice mix of greens. A little wet for my taste if I'm choosing but I'm also not complaining, it was yummy. The potatoes were a perfect dish to come with the salad since otherwise it didn't have a crunch element. This is the first time I've gotten the collar and it was as meaty as it is. I've ordered at other restaurants before and it was not as successful of a dish as here. Loved the sauce and flavors on it. It was kinda sticky due to the sauce but I mean that in a good way, to add to the flavor and overall balance of texture and flavor The snapper lettuce wraps were also yummy! Kind of laborious to get the fish to eat ready but worth the effort, same with the collar too, but also worth the "work" to get the meat off the bones. The snapper has a lot of pin bones but otherwise really yummy bite. The rock wall in the alley creates a whole vibe with the lights and such. It is also one of the oldest walls in Petaluma, which is pretty cool. Slim menu but excellent. The restaurant is tiny, like 6 tables. Being on the patio was nice, more room. Our meal split 4 ways was delicious and filling but also light and sat well in our bellies. I'd absolutely come back again.
