It doesn't feel stiff or pretentious, and the staff is all super friendly. The food and drinks completely lived up to the vibe. The Kaya Jam Toast visually looks like a fancy PB&J, but the flavor is light, not overly sweet, and just plain delicious. We also tried the Five Spice Latte, which brought a cozy autumn vibe right into the middle of summer with all of those warming spices. Both were honestly better than expected. For the cafe itself, it was VERY HOT inside. Having no AC in this weather for a popular boba shop is quite sad and stingy. The workers were all glistening with sweat. I did visit the restroom, which was even hotter than the rest of the store.

However, today's visit felt different. We ordered our usual strawberry coffee drinks but they weren't pink. When I asked the barista about it she said the syrup has changed. The drinks barely tasted like strawberry and we were disappointed. I immediately regretted upgrading my size to 20oz too. SO I looked up other recent yelp reviews, and I saw that someone posted a picture of their drink 17 hours ago and it was still pink. That makes me question what happened to our drinks.
