We had a 5:30 reservation and noticed many empty tables even though guests were waiting. By the time we left around 7:00, the line extended into the parking lot while tables inside were still empty. It appeared there simply wasn't enough wait or kitchen staff to handle the Restaurant Week demand. I also didn't see much value in the approximately $15 premium entrée upgrade compared with regular menu prices. Overall, the food and service at our table were excellent. I visit Pappadeaux whenever I'm in Atlanta and will continue to do so. For major promotions like Restaurant Week, I simply recommend increasing staffing to accommodate the expected crowds.
