However, when I got home, my roll looked completely different and was wrapped in green lettuce instead. I honestly thought I received the wrong order. When I called the restaurant, the employee immediately knew who I was and apologized, saying they ran out of soy paper and substituted lettuce without informing me beforehand. She also claimed it was "the exact same thing," but soy paper and lettuce are clearly not the same ingredient. They have completely different texture, taste, and presentation. I understand restaurants can run out of ingredients, but customers should absolutely be told before substitutions are made -- especially when the menu specifically advertises soy paper and the dish ends up looking completely different from the photos online. I'm attaching photos of what I received versus what was advertised!
