The fries were cooked really well, slightly crispy on the outside, and soft in the center. The brisket sandwich was tender, juicy, and flavorful. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the cashier with some free brownies, and everybody is super friendly. The brownies were a hit.. I ordered the burger with mushroom and bacon bits with sweet potato fries and a buffalo chicken wrap. Came here as one of my colleagues friend invited me (she goes often). I got the Cobb salad, and got a lemonade. The lemonade was fantastic, and all the proceeds (I believe) go to the ASPCA. The waitstaff were friendly, and even gave me a free chocolate chip cookie, which had that homemade taste. I was a bit reluctant at first as the decour reminded me of the beach front restaurants, but then I realized the charm. This place has a fantastic concept, and I'd recommend you go here as one of your regular spots to get good food, to do well by your community, and get it at a good price. read more

I want to rate it a 5 but the bitter/oil on the sandwich was a bit much for me. I wanted to give 4.5. - yet I don't know how to do that. (Help me if you can!) I must admit if I were looking to feel like I was in my granny's kitchen having lunch, the sandwich was perfect. However, I'm watching my intake. I will say the homemade potato chips were DA BOMB!!! Light and delicious. I noticed the owner/staff were fabulous and very attentive. The hours are short, as they are closed by 3p. So make sure you check the times. The restaurant is located in an office park, but has very nice outdoor seating as well as indoor space. Not noisy and a very homey feel to the restaurant. Her goal is to be a giver and you see that all over the store. She has donations for certain meals to support the community. Support it and you will eat well. Good food, fresh and big portions. They advertise a monthly special that they donate a portion of the proceeds to local organizations such as animal rescue. Very cool! Convinced my dad to try this place after we got done with our appointment at the dmv. He was dead set on Culver's so it took some convincing but boy was he happy with this choice. Great food. Great service. However, I've ordered onion rings twice and the first time they were great. The second time they were small and looked like they were from a frozen package. Like rubber. The food at Cafe Delanie is wonderful! I have a networking group that meets here weekly, and I eat lunch here every Friday while I'm in the meeting. Everything I order is hot if it's supposed to be hot, cold if it's supposed to be cold, fresh , DELICIOUS, and plentiful portions. The homemade chips are wonderful. And they have gourmet burgers like the Delanie burger that is stuffed with cheese and mushrooms and other goodies. The service is always fast and friendly and the prices are great too!
