Love going to a legit ethnic restaurant only to find out how authentic they truly are. Service and food were both indicative of the warmth and kindness of the Serbian people and their culture. We tasted many dishes that were all amazing. Cabbage salad is sooo good. Homemade bread made fresh daily is insanely delish. Bean soup with the bread is omg !!! All the meat dishes were fresh and perfectly paired with their warm bread. Being an American with limited knowledge of Serbian food, I would have to say give your palette a walk on the wild side and go visit this wonderful little restaurant. You won't be disappointed. PS ... the local beer is pretty good as well !!

Great food. if you want good ethnic east European food, definitely give it a shot. I usually not crazy about bread but everything they have here is excellent tasting.

Maybe not the best service I have ever had in my life, all those young girls who work there will learn one day as nicer you are the more tips you will get. Anyway they have to work on a service, but also we live in Vegas where everything is about customer service and competition is huge. So hopefully it will be much better in future. But the food .... Is something else. All those waiting (poor girl have to cover inside and outside) eventually pays off. Food was fresh and delicious. Cevapi (Eastern European/ Turkish kind of breakfast sausages) is MUST. It's served with traditional type of bread and must be eaten with onion otherwise it sucks. Cevapi are MUST. Also Karadjorjeva snicla is a MUST, (cheese and ham wrapped in pork and deep fried) something that you will never try in any other restaurant than Serbian. I could go and comment everything but what's the point. Also Sopska salad is delicious (tomato, cucumber, onion and feta cheese) They also have outstanding seating which I prefer because people smoke inside (it's European mentality), But also I go there to eat not to comment interior or exterior Also large selection of European and domestic bears

Worst experience ever! We entered with our service animal (small puppy) and the woman in the back started to yell "out only you can sit outside". She said this sentence five times in a very rude way! Then we decided to do takeout. But she grabbed the menu and decided not to serve us. If you live in the United States, you should accommodate yourself to the country's rules! The restaurant staff must allow the service animals inside! This is law! You should obey!

A cross between a hole in the wall and a lounge. Well stocked bar, and Serbian (Balkan) menu for the most part. It does appear that most serving staff and customers are from the old country...as nobody will greet you upon entering....furthermore everyone will stop their meal to take a glance at you before continuing what they are doing (welcome to the Star Wars Cafe). Food is all right with certain items better than others. Winners: Cevapi are definitely a winning menu item at Cafe Derbi. However do not be tricked in ordering "Kajmak" as it is only sour cream. Fried roasted peppers were good but heavy. Turns out they are loaded with cream which came-in handy when eating other drier items. Baklava type is typical for the area of the Balkans and very similar to what my mom and grandma used to make. Losers: Shopska salad ....a little tomato and lil cucumber drowned in feta cheese. Pita (cheese pie) while authentically rolled is dry and not consistent. I ordered it on two separate occasions, and both times was dry. Lastly if you are not a smoker, don't bother coming as ventilation system is not on, and the place reeks of cigarette smoke.

Great Serbian food. My husband (Serbian) and I went to this restaurant while visiting Las Vegas. My husband really loved the karadjorjieva. I ordered the trout, it was pretty good. We loved the baked peppers (paprika) and cabbage salad. What we didn't like at all was the cheese pita, but we still ate it coz we were very hungry One thing to note is that people smoke inside the restaurant so if you are sensitive to smoke, it may not be the place for you. Otherwise, food, drinks and service are good.

    The food was cold too

Horrible service. Forget about getting assistance quick like bills and one. Waiting is a daily routine here. When you ask for something they look at you like why is he/she ask me and point finger at another waiters. I love it for the free atmosphere but better get good service somewhere else.

July I was just in Paris so I ordered the dinner size beef bourguignon and it was DELICIOUS. Very tender and flavorful and melt on your mouth. Lean meat that wasn't mostly fat and the reduction was to die for. Came with obviously hand prepared mashed potatoes which made me close my eyes. I love a good potato. Especially mashed. I also ordered a lager and tried the ice cream as well as the sourdough (sourced from Italy and baked in house) I don't know what more I could have asked for. We even had a great chat. And now I know why. Hubby and I tried this restaurant this week and are already anxious to return. It is a small site with nine tables located in a strip mall. The decor is lovely and you feel very welcome and cozy. It is easy to find and has plenty of parking. We ordered chicken paprikash and beef bourguignon for our entrees. Both were fantastic. Hubby said his bourguignon is better and for the sake of my marriage, I'll agree. For you Yelpers, there is not much difference between his and theirs, especially since you'll never taste his. Both were outstanding. And who would think that a couple slices of sour dough bread with herbed butter can be that delicious? I've NEVER had better sour dough bread. This went so well with a nice Bordeaux that we ordered along with the potato pancakes with smoked salmon. I am so anxious to go back and try other entrees. Debora was our server and she was on top of her game, even as busy as the restaurant was. She was so personable and sincerely smiled throughout our lunch. To Bites of Europe management and staff . . . thank you for a most lovely lunch and best wishes for your continued success. Please consider opening at 11:00 am AND expanding your restaurant. Everything was absolutely outstanding.

This restaurant serves some of the highest-quality German cuisine I've had in Vegas! A craving for my family's spaeztle brought me here. But every menu item absolutely hit the spot! -Onion Cheese Twisters 100/10: A buttery, flaky pastry twisted with bits of cheese and minced onion and served with a seasoned sour cream based dip. This appetizer is light and tasty, not like anything I've ever had and it is a must-order. -Rahm Schnitzel 9/10: A golden cutlet topped with house-made white gravy. Served with some flavorful spaetzle. I typically prefer spaetzle shorter, but the flavor and texture were there and hit the spot. The gravy is creamy, but not nearly as flavorful as the Jaeger Schnitzel gravy. Still a great option. The size small was still a very filling portion. -Jaeger Schnitzel 10/10: Again, a generous portion for a "small". This brown mushroom gravy packs tons of flavor. Definitely hit the spot. All the food was good, the beer was not mine but cool in a boot and the other glass was just as big. The place is cool, we got there early, around 4:45 and by 6:00 it was filling up quickly. Overall, the vibe was lively and warm. Started with shopska and melitzano salads and purlenka, all of which were excellent. My companion had a half liter of the house red which, while costing less than one glass of wine at most decent restaurants, was quite drinkable and well complimented the food -- wish more restaurants would offer house wines in carafes. I enjoyed sipping the more traditional rakia throughout the meal. My partner had the beef filet kabobs which were a perfect medium as ordered, tender, well seasoned, with good beef flavor. She also enjoyed the accompanying salad which was extremely fresh. I had the mixed grill with which they graciously substituted a lamb chop for the standard pork chop. All the sausage components were very tasty, especially when complimented with dabs of the included lutenitza. Only negative was that the lamb chop was tough, gristly, and fatty -- I should have stuck with the pork chop. Servings were large, we both were unable to finish our entrees, and departed with leftover boxes. Always room for desert, however, and we devoured the delicious biscuit cake. Final impressions; great place with a lively atmosphere, excellent food and drink at very affordable prices with outstanding service. Already looking forward to our next visit.
