My mom and I stopped in here yesterday for lunch. It's very nice inside. Plenty of seating in a very nice bar. They also do special events of any kind. Both my mom and I ordered the Greek salad, which was a very nice portion and was very very good. They also served us some marinated veggies that was served cold and was absolutely out of this world and was so delicious. And we also ordered the chicken soup, which was the best chicken soup I have ever had anywhere. Even better than my homemade chicken soup. The service was amazing and the staff are all friendly. This place is a gem. if you haven't tried it you must try it. They have a wonderful menu. I look forward to coming back and try other items. They are open for lunch and dinner every day. Great southeastern European fare options on the menu with some unique like grilled pigs ear! Nice tables and seats are very comfortable, well padded even at the bar. Service was excellent and helpful explaining the menu options. I had the grilled feta with honey and walnuts as an app. Greek salad was huge with large pieces. Their grilled table bread comes with pickled vegetables! Twin pork chops were tasty and well prepared. Spouse had the sausage patty and pita bread with cheese which were good, but warning about the pickled pepper was scorching hot! Caliente! Let's me start off by saying the location is very interesting lol it's right next to the green door wink wink! However once you get passed that & enter the building it's really nice! We were completely blown away by the food!!!! I got the BRANZINO & wow it was probably the best seasoned branzino ever. Very easy to eat as well I'll definitely be going back for that! My husband got the lamb chops & he said it was his top 3 favorite lamb chops! The only con I can think of is they don't have a drink menu. They have all the alcohol but no drink menu. We ordered 2 sangrias & it was all red wine with ice! lol The service is great cause it's family owned & everyone is friendly & hospitable. Attended a community holiday party here in Mid December. This place is HUGE! Its absolutely beautiful inside, and the staff were super friendly. We had a limited menu for the party, but we ordered: Cevapi (Grilled minced meat served with our flatbread, lutenitsa and kajmak) and Lamb chops. They were both really good. The lamb chops could have had a tiny bit more seasoning, but they were perfectly cooked. The Cevapi was amazing, and the next time we go there, I plan to have it again. Service was a tiny bit slow, I get the feeling that our order was missed, because it took a lot longer to come out than other folx, however, they were VERY busy. We had a full room for this party, so it legitimately wasn't that big a deal. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!! read more

I brought a large group (twelve) for a birthday dinner this past weekend. You can't book via Open Table, but if you call during business hours, they'll take care of you. The woman I booked with was very accommodating. First, the place is massive and has a dance floor. It would be a great venue for a large party, for sure. Our resy was for 730 on a Friday night and there were maybe 6 other people there - but it's a new restaurant and might be more of a late night dining experience. In any case, they decorated a corner of the room for the birthday - it was so sweet! Apparently, there is a drink called Rakia (pronounced rock-EE-uh) that is a staple in the Balkans. Our server described it as a flavored moonshine. (She then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't HANDLE it...so clearly we ordered two bottles.) ...and while we managed to finish them, she was probably right! I encourage you to start with a glass of it before ordering the bottle. (It's definitely an acquired taste.) We ordered about 3/4 of the menu and while some dishes were great (the kabobs, the yogurt dips), others fell flat - a lot of the fried items weren't really crunchy - just heavy, fried food. While that's not really my jam, others liked it. The biscuit cake though - now THAT was a delight!! Weirdly (because I wouldn't expect this at an Eastern European restaurant), the red sangria was also delicious! (The white is VERY sweet, so stick with red if you prefer a less sweet, more dry sangria.) I was very impressed with the server - she recommended great stuff but the EXTRA mile she went was basically being our personal DJ. She overheard us talking about songs and then played them for us. Seriously, incredible. One other note - this place is right next to The Green Door, so I'd say go late night and sit by the window - could make for great people watching! read more

I first came last year to eat at Prince a Serbian restaurant. Great food, I am Serbian and was looking for authentic food from the region of my country. Since their are a few other Balkan restaurants, We decided to try something different so we can compare. BIG MISTAKE!!! I was bragging to my wife who is from another country how good balkan food is like Serbian/Bulgarian food etc. She is already familiar with Serbian food but this was a mixture of cuisine from the same region with a wide selection. We came in the restaurant, tables empty, bar area full, looked like the waitress was talking, bartender talking, everyone laughing etc. Everyone looked and saw us acknowldged us walking in including the people around the bar, who looked dead at us. We stood there for a few moments expecting someone to seat us, that did not happen, we sat ourselves thinking someone was going to come to us eventually. About 10 minutes passes by, NO ONE came to give menus, serve us, ask questions, NOTHING. SOOOO disappointing. My wife and children said let's go, no wonder the tables are empty, and it was at 5:30 pm, mind you they open for second shift at 5 pm but the bar was already ful meaning, those patrons were there while they were closed supposedly preparing for second shift. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from this place aside the fact it smelled of old 10 year stale cigarrett smoke and people were smoking at the bar, Very unprofesional, I can't imagine this place staying open much longer. This is exaclty why Balkan style restaurants do not survive, lack of service and professionalism. Ruined my culinary trip for the weekend. Have you ever had the urge to eat a certain type of food and you may have received something else feeling empy and seriously unsatisfied? This was worse without even getting to taste food! Our company Christmas party was at this venue. The location is a bit off-putting but once we got inside it was huge and beautiful! The food that we ate seemed to be bulk party food so I cannot say much about what is served on a regular evening here but I can say that the space is beautiful and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar area that is a little bit separated but easily accessible. It was an excellent, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space for mingling and dancing. Amazing, what a delightful find. Was across the parking area at another restaurant when their sign caught my eye. My daughter was going to the Balkans for a two week visit with her friend who had been an exchange student here in the USA and I thought it would be great for her to eat here before she left. I subsequently booked a table and on the night arrived at the restaurant. The server(from Bulgaria) greeted us and sat us at a lovely table with a birthday banner above it. They did not have any Balkan regional beers which was disappointing but since Covid has become the norm at many foreign regional eateries as supply issues become a problem. I had a Beer and we ordered a few dishes that ended up being way to much but were so totally worth it. The stuffed grape leaves, cold Tarator soup, Caprese salad, grilled octopus, grilled Feta cheese, hummus plate, grilled Branzino, shaken drusan kebab and the beef tongue made for an amazing meal that was share by my daughter, my wife and myself. The food was amazing and the wine that we had to accompany it, an amazing Georgian Cabernet blew us all away. Baklava fished an amazing tradition meal with awesome service and the only thing I can say I did not enjoy was the plum rakia. It was like drinking gasoline and I will have to try some other flavors before I decide never to drink rakia again . This is definitely a place to visit in Las Vegas. Quiet, off the beaten path and from my experiences very traditional South Eastern European food well prepared and with amazing flavors. read more
