The beef and turkey plates were not good at all (1.5-2 stars for both). The meat for both was cheap, pre-ready, shiny, generic sliced meat, of a kind I have never liked (1.5-2). The gravy on both looked and tasted like it was straight out of a can (1 star for the gravy). Mashed potatoes were decent if unmemorable (3). I got coleslaw, also, and it was decent. The dressing was nice but the slaw had not been truly prepared properly or allowed to sit and the cabbage mix was the pre-cut kind, never a good way to go (2.5-3). Service was ok, if unfriendly. Atmosphere was ok. It was pleasant enough but characterless except for some old photos of Santa Rosa. We shan't go back, especially since it's not in our part of town.

I'm a huge fan of the fiesta scramble, it's got jalapeños, jack cheese, onion, cilantro, black olives, avocado, topped with tortilla strips. The cilantro really makes it something different. I've never had a scramble with cilantro before! I know some people hate cilantro, so that would be your nightmare, but if you love it, it's great because it tastes so fresh. They also have great homemade salsa that spices up any dish you're getting. And I always top the fiesta scramble with this salsa! My husband absolutely loves their breakfast sandwich, he usually gets his with over-easy eggs, bacon, american cheese and rye. And I love that they have rye, because it's hard to get in this sourdough-loving part of the country. Their corned beef hash is exactly as I like it -- out of a can. LOL.
