There was a lady dining by herself and the servers asked her if she wouldn't mind some company. They offer two main entrees each week plus there is also the option of getting a large soup and salad if you want to skip the main entrée. We ordered: Fried chicken sandwich and the mushroom shepherd's pie. We had a choice of soup or salad and a drink. Their lunches have always been outstanding. The chicken sandwich had a coleslaw-like mixture on top of the chicken and it all came on a brioche bun. The meat was not dry at all. My shepherd's pie was amazing. Lots of lentils and mushroom with a parmesan mashed potato topping. Totally awesome meals. The servers are incredibly sweet and they refill drinks and take away your dishes as you finish. Even though the room was filled with diners, the volunteer servers make you feel like they are there for you and only you. Thank you! Lunch is served 11:30-1:30. $10 for members/$12 for non-members.
