Parking not the greatest, as Cafe Destin is tucked in the back corner off 98 Hwy behind other restaurants, but once you walk-in, it's straight to the counter to order your meal. You can pick wherever you'd like to sit in this super cute and coastal decorated cafe! The staff is super friendly and kitchen is quick with pumping out orders. One of the abundance of breakfast places in Destin. We wanted to try something locally owned and this is one of the first that came up when searching for locally owned places. When we came, the place was hopping. We were able to get a table but we had to order at the counter first. No problem. We took an available table and the food was brought out to us. My friend got the Waffle that was loaded with strawberries, I got Eggs, Sausage, cheese grits and toast. Sausage and eggs were cooked to my liking, grits were delicious, and so was the toast. They serve breakfast and lunch. They are open from 7am-2pm everyday. We only tried the breakfast and were very pleased. They have a variety of coffees and smoothies as well. Amazing place! Soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and directed on how to place our orders. Super clean restaurant. The counter person was just as pleasant. The people who brought out our food were cheerful and nice. Food presentation was on par. You can tell they all take pride in everything they serve.
