First off I would like to mention how beautifully decorated the inside of this store is. I took pictures with my family by the cute lights outside. I got a bag of doughnuts from here, and they were extremely good. I also got a frozen coffee which was very strong and good. I really like to come here because I got to spend time with my family. it was really fun with the powdered sugar because we took cute pictures, blowing the powdered sugar into the air. lastly, the people were extremely nice there in the workers were all very nice to us and wore masks the whole time. As I was leaving, the older guy came out to halfheartedly mop some of the sugar. Mop in one hand, cane in the other. No help from the young staffers sitting behind the counter.

Was able to grab four bags of beignets to go for the fam and a frozen café au lait for the flight back. Honestly, I was shocked arriving at the airport seeing how insanely long the Starbucks line was while there were only two people in line here. Who doesn't want one last beignet fix before departure? Y'all are sleeping on them! One thing to note, you can't really watch them making the beignets like at their other locations. The kitchen is behind the wall with only a few little windows to peek through, so you lose a bit of that experience. Now, are they as good as the fresh made to order beignets at the other locations? Not quite. Since these are pre-bagged, the powdered sugar condenses a bit and the beignets tend to stick together. They're still made on site and served warm, just not the same fresh to order bite. That said, for an airport location when you're short on time and trying to catch a flight, the convenience alone made it worth it. I didn't have to wait around for my order and the frozen café au lait was delish! Definitely still worth stopping for one last taste of NOLA before heading home.
