Have been there several times. Always great. Today was a train wreck. It took 25 minutes to get two coffees. The young lady making crepes was non stop but the food getting to tables was definitely an issue. We watched tables of 2-4 getting one meal and other meals 10 minutes later. People sitting for 5-10 minutes, getting half the drinks then rest coming out with the food. Hopefully this doesn't continue. read more

Normally, it is over the limit of patience, but what can I say... it IS worthwhile waiting. The Brownie Blast Crepet and Cannoli French Toast were beyond our expectations, in taste, appearance and harmony of the ingredients. At this porint, the waiting time became indispensable for the chelf's stubborn attention to details: no matter how long it takes, each menu deserves its own time for preparation. My son and I were visiting a nearby mine museum and wanted a quick bite & refreshing drinks when we found this gem! nice decor, many interesting groups of items (gelato, coffee fare, and crepes!) I had a philly cheesesteak crepe with my son and it came with an edible blue flower haha and my 8-yr old couldn't resist nipping at it. Their aris cold brew was smooth, bold, and just what I needed in the afternoon to wake me up. They even had free water in the back for my son to drink with his meal. It seems as though eating at Café e Dolci should be considered a two-part experience due to how Ice Cream Inc., which is a new establishment both connected to it and meant to replace its past sorbet offerings, does not have a separate page. With that in mind, going to Café provides customers with an inclusive, cozy atmosphere to eat quality, varied food in. Ice Cream Inc., on the other hand, is very rough around the edges. Within lifeless walls are problems such as price-related errors that I, someone with anxiety, had to uncomfortably bring up multiple times; though, to be fair, I was refunded the difference between the listed and actual price of my item, which was a sundae. The melted, messily-prepared sundae came in one of those diner-themed paper(?) containers that french fries are served in, dripping through said container as I received it. Suffice to say, Ice Cream Inc. is not a suitable replacement for Café e Dolci's now-gone gelato offerings, and eating at the latter should instead be viewed as a one-part experience. read more

Great job to the worker making the food! She was amazing and working nonstop. The others...could have definitely given a helping hand instead of standing around. It is always a bummer to watch one person work like crazy while everyone else stands around. It does look like the cafe is expanding...heard the owner talk about adding 20+ seats. Here is hoping he gets some help for the worker who is making the food otherwise a 45+wait will be even longer! I will seriously have to consider if I have time to return next time I am in town. Great food but a disappointing experience. Especially knowing that the owner made sure to get his friends and himself their food without having to wait. read more

I love coming here to do my homework, throwing my headphones on and finding a nice seat and eatting delicious cafe food. Their crêpes are so filling and perfectly made with so many options! The pastries, cake and gelato are also delicious! I love iced chai tea lattes with oat milk! My only con is i wish they had larger cups! I finish my lattes way too fast. Where have you been all my life? I discovered this amazing cafe about a month ago with the wife and since then we've been here maybe 3-4 times a week. We originally were trying to find a cafe/bakery spot with macaroons that stayed up past 3pm, and this placed easily met that and so much more. Is it possible to have an emotional attachment to a cafe? Sorry let me tell you why you need to come here right now: they have amazing lattes, teas, they have crepes that are a great size and they serve breakfast, dessert and savory crepes. Nutella crepe? Yes please! Philly cheesesteak crepe? Yes please! The desserts are all great, my go to is edible cookie dough, and of course we originally came here for the macarons and they are great as well. This place is open till 9pm most days and 10pm on weekends, so I come here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and often times just for a honey bee latte. The seating area has beautiful round tables and the special fireplace type seats. All of the staff are super friendly and did I mention you can see the crepes being made right in clear view of the seating area? You go up, order, take your seat whatever you please and they bring the food to you. I'm consistently trying different things on the menu and haven't found a single thing I'm disappointed in yet. If it's your first time, grab a menu, look at the specials, take your time and look at the board, believe me the staff won't mind and remember, it is ALL good so don't worry about trying to make the most of your first visit, just come back again! I was very disappointed at the sandwiches here as they use prepackaged cold cuts, which are entirely too thick and cheap tasting as expected from such low quality! The ham is way too thick. The turkey had a weird aftertaste as well (Cock cock which is expected from serving prepackaged type lunch meat)! We obviously didn't know what cold cuts they were using as this was a to go order Offer any type of cold cut sandwich with such poor, poor quality of luncheon meat. The menu also clearly states that each sandwich comes with a side of pasta or macaroni salad. The side wasn't given to me and when I asked, doesn't the sandwich come with us I kind of got an eye roll from the girl working there.!! Then when she hand it to me, it's the size of a condiment cup! It took no less than 15 minutes for someone to make two of these sandwiches and again they are so underwhelming it's mind-boggling that it could take that long! Craving something sweet and came across this plaza small cafe. It's atmosphere is quaint and cozy very clean with yummy smells all around. They have an array of treats from cookies, quiches, pie, cake, cannoli and gelato not to mention sundaes. Lots to choose from the menu. The customer service is lacking however gelato was great! This place is perhaps one of the best kept secret in the area. Ran across it the other night on yelp and decided to give it a try. There was no disappointment. A very unique place for the area. Open seven days a week from 8 AM till at least 9 PM. A wide variety of offerings. Had one of their omelettes, although it was a hard decision to make, while a friend to head to French toast. The portions were good sized, quickly served and quite delicious. I would not hesitate to mention this to friends. Definitely plan on making a return trips here. read more

Not a fan. The crepe I ordered -Asan fusion crape was not what I was expecting. The presentation was basic, and tasted like a frozen vegetable medley mixed with dry chicken and store bought sauce. The veggies were still kind of hard. Needless to say, I didn't finish. The funnel cake item was okay. Wasn't very hot when it came out, but the taste was good. I wish the were softer, they were thin and kind of crunchy. The drink was really good, hibiscus tea. I don't think I'll be back for food. The food is absolutely amazing. You can tell there's a lot of work put into how the food is cooked & presented. The coffee, gelato, crepessss... SO good! It's also nice that they are open later than most cafes. It has a very cute comfy and neat atmosphere. Only thing I found troublesome was the plating of some of the food. I ordered French toast which came on a long plate. The presentation was beautiful but it also made it difficult to eat with someone. Figuring out how to position our plates on the table was a little difficult as the tables are small. The food on my plate could hardly fit and fruits/pieces of French toast kept falling off the plate. Aside from that the service was great! My little plate peeve won't stop me from going back. As it is very minuscule when you taste how amazing the food is and how great the staff is. This will be my new hot spot. read more

My husband and me went to Cafe e Dolci this morning for brunch. The place was beautifully decorated on the inside. Even though it's located in a strip mall within a busy area of Franklin, it is more upscale and felt "hidden". We both decided to try savory crepes. My husband ordered the Monte Crisco and I ordered the Buffalo Chicken. The cook accidentally made the wrong crepe for my spouse while my crepe came out first. A pet peeve of mine is having food brought out for one person first before the other. Next time, I would prefer for them to wait to bring them both out together. Overall, my crepe was okay. The chicken was slightly tough, but still a good pairing. My husband wasn't a fan of his crepe. Said the pairing wasn't right and would recommend a sweet or fruit crepe next time. My husband also ordered a piece of carrot cake to go and said it is out of this world delicious, which made up for the bad crepe, hence why I am giving them 3 stars. My family and I discovered this gem over summer when out just letting my new driver get some miles under her belt and now we drive all the way from Parsippany to here just for breakfast. Friendly smiling staff. Right off the bat, happy with that. I had the Carmel macchiato, probably the best I've ever had....balanced perfectly of full flavor but not too sweet. A beef crepe with caramelized onions and horseradish aioli...omg . My husband loved his drink and sandwich...I forgot what he had, I was too involved in my food. He had a pineapple sorbet that he flipped over and I liked my red velvet gelato. We already have made plans to go back with friends and family. So happy to have an awesome new spot to go to.
