Great location to sip coffee and people watch in historic Warwick. Ambiance is a typical small town cafe; jazzy music and thoughtfully decorated. I think I made a mistake with my order. I should have gotten a crepe... instead I got the "avocado nest" which is a whole avocado served (with the skin still on it) like a baked potato with bacon eggs and tomatoes thrown on it. It was kind of hard to eat due to all the skin you had to peel off on your own. I prefer that work to be done before it's served. Coffee was ok, not as hot as I'd like it. Not a dealbreaker though. Next time I'd go for an Americano and a crepe. Also the smoothies looked really tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. read more

I really love the vibe here and feel it's a good place to go, but they play the music ***way*** too loud (although decent enough music and I am picky), so if you do need to focus, this is not the place for you, however, they do have an easy way to plug in if you need and work. Returned to Cafe Dolci for our weekly Thursday date night and found all of the tables full. Great, happy for the business. They have a nice upstairs that is normally closed off in the evenings and assume this is to make it easier to clean when it comes to closing. The nice girl at the register already knew my drink order when we approached. I asked if we could go upstairs due to absolutely no tables being available. She said no and I nicely asked a second time and she said not possible. The time was 6:40 pm. We always order a sandwich to share, two drinks and one or two desserts. The bill is normally $45+. We will never set foot in Cafe Dolci again. Such a great location, great atmosphere inside, but it's managed poorly with the hit and miss food quality and lack of common sense when it comes to treating customers, regular repeat customers. read more

This cafe A M A Z I N G!! I was told about it by a friend who lives in Warwick and I decided to check it out. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It has become my favorite spot. The ambiance, the esthetics and the food are really good. The staff is so friendly. I have gone back 7 times and this is definitely going to be my go to spot in the Fall as well when I need some alone time and just want to read a book. My first time going my husband and I tried a maple latte and had the Jersey crepe. We also ordered a slice of the cannoli cheesecake and I swear I died and went to heaven. We've gone back with our daughters and had the Nutella fries, French toast, lemon coconut cake. They loved it! This is the only place with good coffee, lattes and other java specialties in Warwick. It is also the closest thing our village has to a bakery - which will keep me coming back forever. The hot foods are okay, and the crepes are decent. This place has a charming interior reminiscent of a brownstone cafe, with plenty of books around for you to peruse as you wait. The problem is, you will wait. Any simple coffee seems to take at least 15 minutes here. Perhaps Starbucks and other fast-food coffee places have spoiled me with instant gratification, but the service at this place is unbearably slow most days. But the communication from Mike was great and he was attentive and gregarious to all the guests that were both eating and waiting. There were soooo many good choice I wanted to order more than one, but the serving sizes are GENEROUS and eventually chose the pesto chicken one which was very flavorful, and the crepe itself was the perfect texture. My husband ordered the classic with gryuere and ham. Also yum. Could have used a drizzle of bechamel we both thought. It's cool to watch your crepe being made right out front. After ordering coffee for me and my parents, we waited about 20 minutes for them, and still... nothing. I ordered the honey latte, a froze coffee, and a double espresso. Nothing too crazy. My mother had to ask multiple people where our drinks were only for the people behind the counter to snobbishly say "we forgot". Meanwhile my uncle and aunt there got their coffee within five minutes of placing their order, so what gives? The barista handed my mom our drinks without so much as an "I'm sorry."
