Such a cute space to get breakfast and do some work! We stopped in during the Troy Farmers Market and it's such a creative and collaborative space! We didn't try any of the menu items but the coffee was pretty decent and our baristas were very nice. It took a little while for them to make the drinks but the cafe offered some fun things to look around. The pastries looked yummy in the display so might have to venture back to try them. We stopped in here during Chowder Fest to enjoy their butternut squash soup offering and check out the space. They have a chill environment with several tables and they had set up the Chowder Fest table at the front of the restaurant. They also have a small selection of clothing and accessories for purchase up at the front. The butternut squash soup was really good with a touch of cinnamon. My only suggestion to improve would be to locate a separate trash bin outside for folks participating in Chowder Fest. It was inconvenient to have to go back inside the restaurant to dispose of the soup cup and spoon after enjoying our soup outside because there were so many people waiting in line for more soup. Would definitely check this place out again next time we are in Troy! read more

Our group was a mix of vegan, lactose intolerant and omnivores and this place was perfect and delicious. They had alternative options for all their entrees. We got the brunch pre-fixe menu, where you could get everything on the food menu + coffee/tea. For $8/$16 or $24 (per person and price scaled based on your income), we got to try: [summer 2022 specifically] - soy chorizo tacos, well spiced and super flavorful - bagel with lox, picked onions were a nice touch - cold soba noodles, refreshing on a hot day and PERFECT soft boiled eggs - kimchee fried rice, personally like it more kimchi but delicious none the less - belgium waffles, highly recommend getting a side of ice cream with this - tofu scramble, the adobo sauce was SPICY but GOOD. recommend not dumping the whole thing on unless you are good with spice. - mango and raspberry sorbet, omg I'd come back just for this. no dairy but it tasted almost creamy and so so refreshing! - brownies, too crumbly for my liking as I prefer fudgey. Highly recommend trying this place! As a bonus, going to this place is a great way to support the local and transgender and non-binary community! read more

I come to Cafe Euphoria as often as I can for lunch, breakfast or to work while sipping one of their yummy coffee roasts. The vibe is warm, welcoming and fun. I like the chatter around me, and that sometimes families are playing board games at the next table over. Everything is tasty and fresh, with flavors and textures always in an appealing balance. My vegetarian friends get as many options as I do. A key for me in making a place one of my regular habits is cleanliness in the washroom: theirs is clean, well-equipped, spacious and neat. read more

Troy NY is a funky place, including Euphoria Cafe. We stopped in on a Sunday morning shortly after opening. The cafe is a trans visibility project and LGBTQ+ friendly space. Had okonomoyaki (Japanese savory pancake) prepared by one of the owners and a breakfast sandwich with a cafe latte and a mocha. Service was friendly and food was tasty, though our server was a little scattered. Got the sandwich order incorrect and had trouble with the coffees but we weren't in a rush and it was all quickly rectified. We will be back! read more

I stopped by Cafe Euphoria for lunch, which just opened in Downtown Troy. This vegetarian cafe/restaurant and kitchen is LGBTQ and Transgender owned and operated. The place is pretty cozy and homey with table in the front, open prep kitchen and counter seating in the back. They also have a small thrift shop inside the cafe. There's also sidewalk table seating in front too. The place was fairly busy when I got here so I sat up at the counter. They offer vegan and vegetarian friendly food here made to order items including sandwiches, Belgian waffles, chorizo tacos, salads, muffins, pastries, cold drinks, coffee, tea, and dessert items. I decided to order a 3 item Prix Fixe ($21 plus tax, save $6) and went with the Grilled Eggplant Sandwich, Citrus Salad, and Coconut Cake with ice cream. I paid first at the register and took a seat at the counter. I watched my food being right made in front of me, practically sitting in the kitchen.  The Grilled Eggplant Sandwich had thin slices of pan grilled eggplant, Sriracha, arugula, red pepper remoulade between chewy ciabatta bread. The Small Citrus Spring Green Salad had greens, arugula, oranges, sweet almond clusters with a lime vinaigrette dressing. The first two items were really good, fresh, and tasty. The dessert however was very basic, a slice of frozen Pepperidge Farm Coconut Layer Cake served with a scoop of Stewart's Vanilla Ice Cream. As I was eating, the kitchen was running out of ingredients for certain popular items such as eggs and kale for the Breakfast Burritos. The service from the staff was friendly and welcoming.  Overall, Cafe Euphoria is a good place to stop for a bite to eat, especially being close to the Troy Farmer's Market area. read more

My family and I were downtown checking a deed at the County clerk's desk office and decided to grab a bite and a cup of coffee. My family is pretty square so we had no ideal it was an LGTBQ space. There was a selection of shoes out front, which kind of threw me off because I wasn't sure whether it was a boutique or a cafe. It was a really welcoming space- sunny and bright, radio playing classical music, modern decor. The food was healthy, homemade and tasty. Dad got the mushroom omelet, mom got the egg sandwich and I got the butternut squash soup. Would love to know what they season the eggs with- they were a standout. The staff was pleasant, friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Highly recommend this independent business. read more

I finally had a chance to visit Café Euphoria in person and I loved it! I am a really picky eater so I thought I would try something simple like a Caesar salad and I was not disappointed. The dressing they use is the bomb! I don't know whether or not it's homemade, but it is delicious! Their chocolate chip cookies were fresh out of the oven and they were warm and chewy. I have dined there several times since my first visit and everything is always so fresh! I actually ordered a Caesar salad at well known pizza chain while in New York and it tasted like it was store bought. It did not compare to the one at Café Euphoria. The service was excellent and the wait for my meal was not long at all. To pass the time while waiting for my food, I was able to do a little shopping. They have handmade jewelry and artwork on display for purchase and they have a small thrift store in the back with clothing for men and women in a large range of sizes. I bought myself a few pairs of handmade earrings and a beautiful blouse from their thrift store. I will definitely be dining (and shopping) there anytime I'm back in New York! read more

We were visiting Albany and found this charming, eclectic spot. Housed in an old building that has been given new life with this Cafe. The kitchen manager was warm and welcoming and the menu has a nice variety of food options as well as beverages. Gluten free and vegan options available too. My party of four enjoyed the house breakfast omelet, a couple Euphoria's breakfast sandwiches, and a delicious breakfast burrito. Everything was prepared fresh and presented nicely. The house adobo sauce was smokey with a nice kick. The coffee was "endless cup" and "help yourself"; and yet still delicious! The owner was delightful and provided attentive service. The restaurant was clean and airy and offers outdoor seating on the sidewalk. We ate inside and enjoyed the eclectic decor. We will certainly be back. read more

Full of good feelings about this place. When's the last time I was met with generous, radical, trusting, intentional energy when ordering a single drink? A then pay for that drink on sliding scale pricing with unlimited refills?! And to know that the folks running the place are building community and safety and accountability? While there I witnessed the owner speaking with someone. Without getting into specifics, I fully believe the owner knows what it means to navigate violence and somehow survive with the capacity to love other people. Not enough stars!! We are regulars here, including my emotional support dog. We love it. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The whole menu is diverse, and the fact that they have offerings for vegetarians and vegans is a huge plus. They have awesome themed nights and great events. We love the board game nights and drag shows. They have a stellar drink menu. My favorite is Mara's Strawberry Matcha it's pretty and delicious. They have so many innovative ideas, and I love the fact that they have worker/owners. It's a great space to work from or meet with friends. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and fast. I'm always excited to see their seasonal menus, and we are HUGE fans of the Prix Fixe brunch. There is also an on-site thrift shop.
