Good dinner, food took forever. Came here yesterday with a reservation and were quickly seated. We had to ask for bread to be brought out as it seems they don't really give it out. Our friend calamari was good but the breading fell apart. My penne a la vodka was delicious and my husband really enjoyed his ravioli a la vodka. My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese and fries. No chocolate-only options so we skipped dessert. Only downside was our food took FOREVER and we didn't order anything complex.

    Delicious. The Chocolate Bag!!!

I had no expectations going here, just a recommendation as a nice place to have dinner for 4. And dining here this weekend turned out as a 5+ Star experience. First - A Shout out to Luis for his professionalism, excellent suggestions and service. We started out with salads, all tasty and fresh, Then our entrees. I thoroughly enjoyed the tasty and mildly spices Paella. Simply delicious! Chicken Scarpiello was another delicious dish, and the other 2 entrees, I can't recall were also thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, we enjoyed the Chocolate Bag, phenomenal, Overall. an exceptional dining experience!

Last minute lunch at the charming Cafe Joelle..last visited the one on Main St. prior to the fire. Beautiful decor & we both chose a delicious Reuben sandwich on crunchy toasted Rye with mounds of lean corned beef, sauerkraut & a delicious dressing. French fries done to a crisp accompanied the sandwich with a pickle that packed a crunch. We were greeted with a smile & our waitress was friendly. The waitress brought over the dessert menu without having to ask for one(we liked that). We shared a warm brownie with scoops of vanilla ice cream & melt in your mouth chocolate goodness. If you haven't been here lately give it a try you won't be disappointed.

My sister in law recommended this restaurant for my baby shower, so naturally my husband and I went to eat dinner to check out the place and try the food. We ordered meals that were choices on the catering menu and fell in love. We immediately booked the place for my shower. Amber and Erika were both very responsive and accommodating to make the entire booking and planning process simple and convenient. The day of my shower was magical, from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service - everything was phenomenal! All the guests complemented the food and were beyond happy with their meals and dessert. Overall, I would recommend private parties because this place really sets the bar high on all levels!! Can't wait to go back when I'm able to enjoy some of their cocktails which look amazing!

It was fantastic. We have been wanting to try this spot for a while and it did not disappoint. We started with the wasabi calamari and it was amazing. Not pictured but I had the chicken and artichoke francaise and my husband has the Schweitzer schnitzel. Mine was delicious. SUPER lemony so you have to love lemon. My husband loved his. I tried his also and it was fantastic.

We have been going to this restaurant since they were on Main St. Spent many festive Christmas Eves enjoying the cozy atmosphere. Still amazing after moving to the larger location. We won't make it this Christmas Eve, but stopped in a few days early for this amazing meal. We have never had a bad meal or a bad experience at this restaurant!

Talk about a hidden gem! I've never heard of this place until I saw it on Instagram and wow was I impressed. First of all, it's beautiful, bright and clean inside and they have a cute little lounge area in case you have to wait for a table, which we did so I snagged an apple dacks from the bar. It was so amazing, my friends and I ordered another round at the table. We split the mozzarella triangles, bruschetta and bacon wrapped shrimp for apps and the chicken Jules, burrata pasta ala vodka and almond crusted chicken salad for entrees and the chocolate bag for dessert. Everything was amazing. The bacon and shrimp was slightly overcooked but everything was so flavorful and portions were decent sized. The bruschetta was my favorite and I prob wouldn't have ordered it if I didn't see it on Instagram-highly recommend! The salad was actually very good too, the chicken was crispy, not greasy and the dressing was light and sweet. I didn't love the dessert options, they were out of the one thing we wanted so we went with the chocolate bag with white chocolate mousse. It was meh, coulda done without it. Also ended the night with an espresso martini. Service was ok. I'll def come again!

When I lived in the area this was my go to spot! They have great reliable food, a beautiful, romantic and clean atmosphere and they serve great portions. I always love their cesar salad with grilled chicken, the bruschetta is incredible and they always have great menus and fun drinks throughout different seasons. They make an amazing pina colada too! Miss living nearby and cant wait to go back soon. Perfect for date night, family dinners, special occasions!

    Pumpkin beer

I felt compelled to write this review after getting a pumpkin beer served in a glass that is meant for cocktails. I honestly can't believe I paid $9 for this. It would be different if it was a beer with a high ABV, but it is a Schlafly pumpkin! Please get proper beer glasses so that your clientele doesn't feel like they are being ripped off in a way that feels even more disrespectful. Otherwise the service was good and the food was okay.

We were very excited Cafe Noelle could accomodare our large group the day after Christmas. It was loud and boisterous. I think everyone just needed to get out of the house and wanted to be served! They had a nice selection of cocktails. One of my friends had the clear Pina Colada. I had a sip and it was delicious. Nice coconut flavor and unexpected. I had the Pear Naked Lady, which was also very yummy. Everyone seemed to like their cocktails. I ordered a hamburger and it was good. Not the best burger I've ever had but certainly not the worst. Others had Reubens and liked but complained about the scant amount of dressing and sauerkraut on their sandwiches. Another friend had the Caramelized Pear Salad, which she said was very tasty. Service was great. Overall a decent meal and I would come back and try some other things on the large menu.

Came here for a private party and everything was great. The food, drinks and service were fantastic. What a cute restaurant in the middle of town. Highly suggest and will be back!

I'll say the cocktail program in this "Patchogue-chic" spot is solid and fantastic; Laura has poured me great drinks with good convo. Past nights Anthony showed great knowledge and skills behind the bar and one night readjusted my understanding of the history of the building (which I dig, I love that Shands General store was actually the oldest building in town and I'm glad it's a nod back to that, with brick house stepping out and its' sign remaining on the back of the building) I should say that basically, for the majority, the front of the house is great; Very few exceptions there but they do exist. A while back I had wanted a fresh pasta and to show someone the place, but Shands had beef Wellington on the menu and it's one of my favorites that you really don't see everywhere or splurge for often. So there it was, I knew my order, started with a French onion and short rib soup, but this had ZERO SHORT RIB and was pretty lack luster, & come to think of it, one of the least appealing French onion soups I've had, real unfortunate; the crouton/bread was so deteriorated it was as if it had been sitting in the broth for 2 days. A good French onion really should have the bread floated when broiling the cheese over the top to form a nice crust, instead the crouton was submerged and dissolved as the cheese was just a melty glob of what seemed to be presented more like a mozzarella than Gruyère or Swiss, but it had a sharpness in there I just don't know about this execution I guess... there was a lack of onion, and a lack of flavor, it needed depth which maybe the short rib gives it if "the chef is feeling generous enough that night " to include it. $20 soups for the both of us and only one of the bowls had any of the short rib, unfortunately for them, the douche who likes to post on Yelp is the one that didn't get any. butternut hummus was good... it came out looking like they dropped the bowl on the way over but no big deal My first time in, I had a heavenly, light and flavorful, melt you into a damn puddle, pasta dish; it was the Mafaldine at its best) Really miss those duck wings they sourced locally. Sad story about the local duck farm "Crescent". He had to euthanize his entire population due to a bird flu outbreak, they supplied 4% of the duck to the entire country but sadly had to close down at the end of january; the staff let me know and I had to research it quick. (I imagine this is an issue sweeping the nation as we've all seen egg prices explode) The prep that Shands did on those things... they were next level! Typically you'd think a duck wing would be a little less meat or a bit tougher than a chicken but they did really well making them so tender and heavenly, impressive work honestly; maybe they can pay homage with some other type... I'd try some ostrich wings... it would probably be like a bbq rib or something... I digress. On to the main show, the Wellington... The portion was indeed large, it was a nice cut of meat but this really should have been showcased better. I'm sure the staff at places like this think everything they do is perfect and I'm just a jerk for mentioning my dismay here on Yelp, but they served a beef Wellington where the inside of the puff pastry crust was soggy... the outside crust was cooked but a great Wellington has a FLAKY crust, this wasn't that. At this crazy price your beef Wellington should be perfect or at least satisfying. The rest of the technique on the dish was fine, it had the right stuff which shockingly I've had wellingtons where they didn't do the mushrooms or didn't do the prosciutto layer so I appreciated that. I'm also pretty sure they used Duxelles and cooked them down wonderfully which is an easy step to miss that could ruin everything. Wellington ain't easy to perfect, I myself don't work well with puff pastry and I cannot even make a halfway decent Wellington but in my humble opinion, this wasn't too great either. Overall, would I suggest you go and spend your own $300 on this meal? No. I can't tell you that your money is well spent here. I've been to countless cheaper, nicer, and tastier places that don't have pretension baked into the price. Long Island can be a wasteland sometimes. Good meals I've had here included things like the hanger steak, pasta dishes, duck wings, Brussels and hummus.. maybe even their squash blossoms if I remember right... it's possible that wasn't them though. The brunch: steak and eggs were glorious, but even better were my nieces pancakes! Holy crap, how do they get them so thick yet so airy, fluffy, and dreamy? You can spend less if you take a train to Manhattan but have a drink here, those are never a miss.

This time, we saw that Snapper Inn was having a psychic night with dinner, so we decided to let them do all the work. I called over a month ahead and spoke with Jim, who was the loveliest man. He gave me all the details and I told him I would call back when I have an official head count. The psychic dinner came with a prix-fixed 3 course meal and a 15 min reading. The menu was amazing. I got the winter salad and the shrimp oreganota while ending up with the banana bread pudding. Everything was top notch, from the private set up with our reading, to the round table they sat the 7 of us at. The service was out of this world and Caroline made sure everything was done perfect. The most important thing is that my sister very much enjoyed everything. And being that this is a family owned business, according to Jim, I was proud to celebrate my family with them. I hope we can do it again.
