We were greeted and seated right away(we had a reservation). it was a bit hot with no breeze in the enclosed patio, but we fought through that as it eventually cooled down. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our food was all delicious. I honestly loved everything about this dining experience. Highly recommend and definitely get the pistachio cake at the end...

Beautiful place on the water! The food was so great! Calamari app is the move, lightly battered and a different take with a special sauce. My oysters were yummy and the colossal shrimp is amazing. I had the cavatelli with pesto and it was delish. My dad had the pork chop and it was insane ! Lots of parties going on so make reservations.

We had a wonderful experience here! The setting by the water is absolutely beautiful--perfect for a summer evening out. We went for my birthday in JuneI had the lobster roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband and friends ordered the steak and chicken dishes, and everyone left happy and full. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was just right with both indoor and outdoor bars that added to the lively but relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a great meal, a scenic view, or just a fun night out, they deliver on all fronts. Highly recommend and we plan on coming back!

This restaurant was SO good! Loved every bite of the organic chicken. The duck was also delicious. I would definitely come here again

My wife and I arrived around 1:00 pm for lunch. The place was pretty empty. Upon entering, the hostess showed us to our table. The eatery is well designed, with tables that are nicely appointed and well laid out. There are two gas fireplaces that add to the bright and airy atmosphere. The restaurant is very big and divided into two parts. It appears that both areas have lovely views of the water. The restaurant offers both a prix fixe lunch menu as well as a regular menu. We ordered fried calamari as appetizers. The calamari were prepared very differently than the ordinary fair. Very pleasing to the palate. I ordered the large lump crab cake, salad, and French fries. The fries are delicious! The crab cake is prepared on the spicy side. The salad was tasty. For dessert, I ordered the gelato. I really enjoyed the chocolate over the salted caramel. Overall, the meal was good. The Takeaways 1. The price to food ratio is okay. 2. Bread and butter is considered an appetizer and is charged as such. 3. Service is excellent. 4. Ambiance is beautiful. 5. Parking is limited. 6. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card use. 7. Reservations recommended for dinner. 8. Prix menu is very reasonable. 9. The calamari appetizer is enough for two. 10. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. I withheld a star because of the price of the meal. Please leave a 'like' if you find the review useful or you like the pictures.

One of the best brunches I have ever had! My boyfriend and I came to Lakehouse for Easter brunch and were not disappointed! The decor inside was upscale but still sea based, which was appreciated given the water view. The service was surprisingly good for such a busy holiday, which I also appreciated. Finally, the food and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious! The veggie panini changed my life! It was the perfect blend of pesto, goat cheese, and veggies. The belini was the best I have ever had. It had grapefruit juice in it and was a crowd favorite. I will definitely be returning!

A friend and I took advantage of the pre fix menu that is over at the end of May. Very good value for your money! The place is beautiful and has a strange mix of casual boat people and others who are dressed for the ambiance which isn't very casual. The service was great and the servers and bus staff were very attentive. I would definitely return!!

We had brunch this past Sunday. It was a cloudy day & we dined outdoors.Beautiful water views. We ordered the Smoked nova salmon which was delicious tho the crispy potato cake underneath it was minuscule.2 diners had Challah French toast again delicious but the candied bacon on top of it was again a small piece of bacon cut into minuscule pieces. This was surrounded with strawberry bits & raspberries. It appeared to be 1 strawberry cut into small piece. They could have used more strawberries & a larger potato cake underneath. Hence the reason for 4 stars.Portions matter & the way they cut back on size wasn't appreciated.Service was friendly but rethink portions.

Lakehouse is always a good choice. Especially in the summer sitting outside. Stopped in for a few apps and drinks. It was very quiet, nearly empty. Had good service and the food was good.

Lightly breaded Calamari. 10/10!

10/10 recommend. My favorite app is the Calamari by far. They never miss with this. Also the Filet was cooked very well. Highly recommend!

A nice view from the deck by the restaurant.

A great Easter brunch at the LakeHouse Restaurant in Bay Shore, NY. Relaxed and elegant vibe. Great food even if plating may be not innovative. Quality service - not rushed, but prompt and attentive. A nice view. Alex and I enjoyed this dining experience.

Went to the LakeHouse for Easter brunch, the food was excellent, the service amazing and decor classy and comfortable. We had a group of 8, we started with cocktails that were very well done. The pastry and meat & cheese appetizers were very nice ( the blue cheese was to die for). Everyone raved about their main courses. The only glitch is there is no handicapped access to the outdoor park. I will go back when it's warmer and check that out again.

We should have taken food photos!

The restaurant…read moreusually has some great specials and an impressive, rotating selection of east and west coast oysters. The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. My only real critique is that the restaurant gets a bit loud, making it a tad difficult to hear but it's also a sign that the place is doing consistently well.

Let's talk about that $25 Thursday girls' night deal a martini, fries, and a Caesar salad? Yes, please. I upgraded to the parmesan fries for an extra $3 and have zero regrets, they were crispy, cheesy. and salty perfection. Of course, I couldn't ignore the oyster specials. $1 oysters + discounted varieties ($1 discount on every type of oyster) Dangerous. I ordered a dozen and shamelessly took them all down myself Fresh, briny, and absolutely worth it. My friend went the "balance" route with the grain bowl and added shrimp, which looked just as good as it tasted. Everything we had was on point. Service deserves a shoutout. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering. My martini was perfectly made (strong but smooth), and the overall vibe was lively, energetic, but still perfect for catching up. The vibe really made the night. Great food, great deal, great company. Honestly, it's the kind of spot that turns a casual night into a whole experience. I'll definitely be back.

The…read moreconcept is fantastic: the menu changes regularly to highlight a different state, and during my visit it was Georgia week. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. Great food, great drinks, a fun and unique concept, and accessibility done right.

I had the opportunity to check out Roadtrip with a friend on a weeknight. The premise of the…read morerestaurant is that every week they highlight a different U.S. state, creating entrées, appetizers and drinks that showcase the selected state's leading agricultural industries and cuisine the state is known for. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.
