We were greeted and seated right away(we had a reservation). it was a bit hot with no breeze in the enclosed patio, but we fought through that as it eventually cooled down. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our food was all delicious. I honestly loved everything about this dining experience. Highly recommend and definitely get the pistachio cake at the end...

The lakehouse is a gem in the heart of Bayshore. Beautiful water views either on the patio or covered patio. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and has an upscale feel. The food is spot on from start to finish. Delicious clams, pasta , & steak frites to start and ended with their famous snickers dish. Definitely try the snickers for dessert. It is homemade and is exceptional. Our waiter was attentive all evening.

Beautiful place on the water! The food was so great! Calamari app is the move, lightly battered and a different take with a special sauce. My oysters were yummy and the colossal shrimp is amazing. I had the cavatelli with pesto and it was delish. My dad had the pork chop and it was insane ! Lots of parties going on so make reservations.

Another great afternoon at The Lakehouse. Lisa E and I met a dear friend for brunch. I had the pleasure to enjoy the duck confit hash once again. So rich and delicious! We spent a leisurely 3 hours talking late into the afternoon over coffee refills and never felt rushed. Love how the changing light, clouds, and water enhance the whole atmosphere.

Great food, drinks, service and ambiance with beautiful views. Options for indoor and outdoor seating

We had a wonderful experience here! The setting by the water is absolutely beautiful--perfect for a summer evening out. We went for my birthday in JuneI had the lobster roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband and friends ordered the steak and chicken dishes, and everyone left happy and full. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was just right with both indoor and outdoor bars that added to the lively but relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're looking for a great meal, a scenic view, or just a fun night out, they deliver on all fronts. Highly recommend and we plan on coming back!

This restaurant was SO good! Loved every bite of the organic chicken. The duck was also delicious. I would definitely come here again

My wife and I arrived around 1:00 pm for lunch. The place was pretty empty. Upon entering, the hostess showed us to our table. The eatery is well designed, with tables that are nicely appointed and well laid out. There are two gas fireplaces that add to the bright and airy atmosphere. The restaurant is very big and divided into two parts. It appears that both areas have lovely views of the water. The restaurant offers both a prix fixe lunch menu as well as a regular menu. We ordered fried calamari as appetizers. The calamari were prepared very differently than the ordinary fair. Very pleasing to the palate. I ordered the large lump crab cake, salad, and French fries. The fries are delicious! The crab cake is prepared on the spicy side. The salad was tasty. For dessert, I ordered the gelato. I really enjoyed the chocolate over the salted caramel. Overall, the meal was good. The Takeaways 1. The price to food ratio is okay. 2. Bread and butter is considered an appetizer and is charged as such. 3. Service is excellent. 4. Ambiance is beautiful. 5. Parking is limited. 6. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card use. 7. Reservations recommended for dinner. 8. Prix menu is very reasonable. 9. The calamari appetizer is enough for two. 10. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. I withheld a star because of the price of the meal. Please leave a 'like' if you find the review useful or you like the pictures.

One of the best brunches I have ever had! My boyfriend and I came to Lakehouse for Easter brunch and were not disappointed! The decor inside was upscale but still sea based, which was appreciated given the water view. The service was surprisingly good for such a busy holiday, which I also appreciated. Finally, the food and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious! The veggie panini changed my life! It was the perfect blend of pesto, goat cheese, and veggies. The belini was the best I have ever had. It had grapefruit juice in it and was a crowd favorite. I will definitely be returning!

A friend and I took advantage of the pre fix menu that is over at the end of May. Very good value for your money! The place is beautiful and has a strange mix of casual boat people and others who are dressed for the ambiance which isn't very casual. The service was great and the servers and bus staff were very attentive. I would definitely return!!

As mentioned they try to offer fresh, seasonal apps, handhelds, salads and entrees. The protein entree options only offer two to three chicken, pork, steak, seafood selections along with a couple of pasta infused dishes. They have a full bar, so if a beer or cocktail is wanted you do have options there as well. The Mr selected the Chilled Shrimp & Crab Stack, but eliminated the hard boiled egg aspect and thought it was light, tasty and refreshing. I opted for the Faroe Salmon with shrimp that came accompanied/on top of a risotto and peas. I thought cooked medium was perfect making it soft and fork flaky to mix along together. It was a very juicy sizable piece making it very filling. We didn't have time for a dessert, but noted they did have a few offerings there. Also noted they had very well kept mens/woman's and family restroom with baby changing table. Thanks! Would highly recommend this location to others.

Happy hour at the bar is from 12-7pm with the bar bites available after 4pm. The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.

But having a lobster roll, Let me reiterate, having one lobster roll at Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill left me with a new experience and a new perspective on what lobster rolls are. Can I talk about the Maryland Lobster & crab roll. This was one huge, I mean huge lobster roll that consisted of delicious sauteed Maine Lobster and Jumbo Lump Crab meat, poached in old bay garlic butter on a toasted roll. The bar was full, but we were able to get seated at a table in front of the live band. There is live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00PM-10:00PM. On Friday, February 20, 2026, a band called The Dudes Acoustic were playing. They sounded great. I had the lavender margarita and it was very yummy. We didn't order any food since we had ate before, but I did glance at the menu and there were plenty of great options. Our server was hospitable and came to check on us throughout the night. Oakdale Brew House is located in Lighthouse Commons, a group of businesses along Montauk Highway, and there are plenty of parking spots.

She even anticipated our needs. I'm going back for sure. We had a table outside and it was perfect.

I honestly don't understand the hype around Restorations Kitchen & Cocktails. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the food takes far longer than expected. Takeout orders are routinely 15 minutes or more past the quoted pickup time, which is frustrating when you're planning your day around their estimate. Service has also been inconsistent. The waitstaff often seems disorganized, and communication regarding delays is lacking. I understand restaurants get busy, but after multiple visits, the same problems keep occurring. The food is decent, but not enough to make up for the long waits and repeated service issues. After giving this restaurant several opportunities, I don't see myself return
