This place is adorable, but I was unaware it was inside the HMart (back right corner when you enter) it's a little cold since it's by grocery freezers so I don't really recommend it as a cafe to hang out or lounge in. But they do have some cozy table to do so if you like. I had a purple latte. They are like alot of other Korean bakeries in the area as far their tea, coffee, and bakery offerings, altho a little bit higher priced than some of the others I usually go to in Annandale. Castella loafs were $4 each which I buy often elsewhere. The staff is kind and was also wonderful at letting us and other shoppers know that all their breads were going on 50% off at 630 and it seemed to draw a timely crowd. Would not make a special trip for this bakery, but it is nice to know it is there and should stop by when I go to this HMart.

hole in the wall coffee shop inside of the Burke H mart. I desperately needed a coffee and thankfully was going grocery before 8pm like a normal person for once, grabbed a vanilla latte from them and it was so delicious!!! They're more of a bakery than just a coffee shop, but they have teas, baked goods, GORGEOUS cakes and straws that are heart shaped. sooo cute Will come again for more delicious coffee and maybe a cake next time. love

My mom's friends surprised me with a birthday cake for my birthday and it was very delicious! It's a green tea cake. It's so soft and tasty yet not too sweet. I'm not sure about the ambiance, but the packaging is so nice. I'm sure the service is as fast as it take to do a take out order.

Got an "Earl Grey Ring Donut" - happily surprised to find the flakey croissant layers inside!

A nice little Korean bakery tucked in the corner of H Mart that sells a variety of baked goods, cakes, and beverages (coffee & Korean/bubble tea). And although it is located inside H Mart, it functions as a separate establishment since you pay for their products at the Cafe L'ami register. We've bought cakes, macarons, bread, pastries, bubble tea and coffee. Everything is delicious but coffee is just ok. If you were to buy from this place, it is best to come in the morning as they tend to run out of things like bread by the evening. If you're out running errands at H Mart, stop by Cafe L'ami for a little pick me up or quick coffee date.

This bakery is located inside Hmart in Burke, VA. I came here to get a chocolate cake for my sister's birthday. They gave me free candles and a happy birthday sign/cake topper. It was nice because I didn't have time to swing by and pick them so it was a lifesaver. The cake was a hit and it was delicious! The cake part was moist and it wasn't too sweet but it was very tasty. Just a nice combinatio and was perfect for dessert. I also picked up some pastry/bread for the road and they were also very tasty. I definitely go back and highly recommend.

Cafe L'ami is a Korean bakery in food court area (located in the back) of the new H Mart in Burke, Virginia. They sell assorted drinks such as Korean Tea, Coffee, Bubble Tea, Smoothies, and Ade/Iced Tea. Along with drinks, they sell different Korean pastries and goodies! They have fairly large macarons on display, as well as beautiful cakes. Even though it was a chilly rainy day, I ordered a Taro Bubble Tea. It was pretty good, but a little too icy for my liking. You also couldn't chose your sweetness level, like some places allow. I'm excited to give this place another try soon and order more variety!

While exploring Hmart I became thirsty and why not get bubble tea? I decided to get thai tea with bubbles and a coffee bun. The thai tea was made from powder but didn't really have the same taste that I'm use to from the thai restaurants and the boba was just the wrong texture. The bakery was clean and organized and the drinks came out pretty quickly. The coffee wasn't anything special. I wish there was a filling in the middle but its just plain coffee bread.

Iced vanilla latte. Strong coffee, I love it!

Came here while shopping in Hmart. I was in need of coffee. Luckily, Cafe L'ami was in here to quench my coffee thirst. They have lots of macaron flavors in their display case. Haven't tried their desserts yet but I did try their vegetable bread. I loved the sample so I took one home. If you love carbs or desserts, this is your place to come. I cheated on my diet just for this place...

I could see this being a nice spot to go to on a regular basis just to grab a quick bite and vibe. I did not grab any food this time but I did order the caramel latte. Whenever I go to a coffee shop to order a drink, I am quickly reminded that I have no idea what I'm talking about. The lady helping me at the counter was so patient and helpful. I was going to try the Cherry Blossom latte but decided not to stray too much from what I'm used to. The iced caramel latte with oat milk was so good. It felt like I drunk it in two sips. They have everything from small bites like cookies and pastries to full size cakes & tarts. They also have single serve slices of some of their cakes like the chocolate mousse cake. We went for breakfast sandwiches and tried both of the base bread options. The snowflake bread was soft and pillowy (my favorite) and the brotchen bread was slightly crisper & a little bit saltier, also amazing. Eggs are fluffy and a great portion size. Added cheese to each and smoked bacon. A delightful breakfast treat. On the way out, I got a baguette for a last minute appetizer need. It was so soft and freshly baked (and big!). I'm going back today for more fresh bread. There's also plenty to shop for like mustards, jams, cheese and charcuterie, grab and go items, and beverages. This place has summer chalet vibes & is very upbeat and friendly. Lines can get long during typical busy hours, so it's not super quick if you're in a rush. Great place to come relax.

After looking over the menu - I ordered a Western Omelette with some tweaks: Substituted Chorizo for the bacon and ham, added mushrooms and spinach, also ordered a side of bacon, and a cold brew. I did not see cold brew on the menu - I asked and my waiter stated that they had cold brew. I note that they have iced coffee on the menu - I hope that is not what he ended up giving me. Harder to tell once Half n' Half has been added. As others have noted - there is a beach vibe going on with regards to the color of the place - a big emphasis on a teal/aqua like color. Food came up in about 10 minutes. Presentation-wise - everything looked appetizing. I tasted the omelette - and then I added some black pepper and hot sauce to the omelette as I always do. The omelette was tasty; the breakfast potatoes were hot and the texture was on point; and the bacon was very good. The "cold brew" seemed a bit on the weak side to me - so not sure if it was iced coffee... I was not paying attention to the pricing - when I got my bill - it was $40 dollars for an omelette, side of bacon and cold brew. Seems a bit steep to me. They charged me $3.00 for mushrooms and another $3.00 for spinach. Service was good, and the food was good - but at those prices, I probably won't be back. Paid with Apple Pay. #ChloezCafe
