Wowowowowow! A great meal. We came on a Monday because you can't miss a great deal. We got two pizzas and a salad The pizza is extremely fluffy, like a cloud. After finishing the salad, we made culinary synergy, by dipping the pizza crusts into the green goddess dressing. The waiter was totally onto our scavenger nature, because he brought back a little bowl of olive oil, for us to concoct his fave dipping sauce- olive oil + red chili flakes + parm. It's a cute spot with great ambience and a key pillar of the Montlake neighborhood! Will definitely be coming back for this deal!

Came here for their pizza night. The olives was amazing. Different varieties in a herb infused olive oil. You get a good amount and selection. Would be even better if we had gotten some bread to go with it. Pizzas were both really good. We ended up getting a margarita and another one with sausage and some other stuff. Both were good but I preferred the margarita more. Enough to take home for another go at it for lunch the next day and it was still very good. I'll come back again. Service was good and the white table cloth and napkins made it feel a lot more special. Also like those little LED light on each table.

Fabulous! I don't know why I've slept on this so long, having passed it a million times. The quality of the food, the dining experience, and outstanding service make this easily the top of my recents list. Restaurant is bright and open, all the way through to the bar and kitchen. Matt was our waiter, and we found him to be fantastic at accurate recommendations, ingredients, history, etc. The ravioli was without a doubt our favorite, but the gnocchi was super light and bathed in kale and guanciale. Pizza was great - incredible dough/crust. I ordered the lasagna because 1) I'm chasing my experience at Cucina Parma in San Diego, and 2) apparently this place is known for it and sells out nightly. While it didn't match the high, it was fantastic. Pasta almost more of a crepe layer with a fine béchamel and balanced marinara. I have no problem recommending it as likely one of the best local. Started with a Cesar and Pomodori al Forno (each were easily split 4 ways). Since it was a double-birthday for twins, we got tiramisu and poached pears. These were both INSANE. Much more traditional tiramisu which let the mascarpone really come through, and not overly sweet. The pear dish was extraordinary and I guarantee I will have it every time. Love this place and will put it in rotation. Reservations highly recommended. Parking is street/neighborhood, just be aware the neighborhood behind the restaurant is up a considerable hill, so you may choose opposite street side for anyone needing easy/level access. Not pictured Cesar salad and Pomodori al Forno (get this!!!)

What a sweet, lovely neighborhood restaurant! Everything about it was just cozy and warm. And everyone was so friendly! We came on a Monday to try out the $15 pizzas. We came right at 5pm when they opened and we were able to get a table for 3 right away. The pizzas were good. Also had the gnocchi, which was okay. But the star was the lasagna!!! One of the best lasagnas I've had!! The pasta was so thin and silky. The sauce and cheese were so flavorful! Taking a bite was so airy yet bold, but also simple...if that makes sense. Anyways, come here for the lasagna, good vibes, and friendly faces!!

    Mussel Linguine. So yummy!

We ordered the lasagna and the linguine with mussels. The lasagna was impressively light and fluffy, featuring incredibly thin layers that gave it an airy texture--highly recommended! The linguine was equally fantastic, with fresh, perfectly al dente pasta. I especially appreciated that the generous portion of mussels came pre-shelled, ensuring a seamless dining experience without any stray shell fragments.

I live in Montlake and Cafe Lago is such a charming part of our neighborhood! The staff are professionals and the food is so consistently good. I love how they keep the interior minimally designed with the classic Italian white tablecloth look! A must order is the slow roasted tomato appetizer, I am still thinking about it. Also- the butterscotch budino is one of the best things I've eaten in a long time!!

I'll never know. Cafe Lago signed up for a Groupon promotion and then after it was posted city-wide, Cafe Lago backed out. Very bad karma.

Gave it a 2nd chance again, but it failed. Ordered a couple of meals to go about 4 months ago and I had to throw mine out. My husband ate part of his and threw the rest out. Last night we gave it one more go. Ordered 2 burgers to go. Asked for no onions or sauce. Got home and found they had onions and sauce on them of course. Took a few bites and threw both burgers out. And it cost us $77. $10 was a tip. We do try to support, but we just can't support them anymore. Sorry.

There's also a pleasant patio that will see use in the summer but not on this chilly February night. The bar offered a collection of micro pub brews with the classics such as Pliny the Elder IPA and local finds. (See pic attached) The menu is elevated pub grub and pizzas while staying away from the more pretentious "gastropub" offerings. We split a Green Goddess salad and a burger with a side of delicious fries. I had the Stoup Cerevezita while my partner ordered a Margarita. Service was friendly and so were the other patrons. We chose to hang around to watch Olympic Curling after finishing our meaI while enjoying the neighborhood vibe. Every neighborhood should have a joint like this though not all are so lucky.

All the drinks were ordered were quick and tasty. For those that cannot drink beer, they do have Twisted Tea on tap which is somewhat carbonated which is fun, unique and refreshing. Went on a weeknight, and saw that they had Blanton's. May be the cheapest price for a pour of it in town. Since it was only a few bucks more than a standard bourbon and coke, asked for a Blanton's and coke, which got some laughter, good played heckling and jokes from the bartenders. (obviously I corrected myself and did not get it with coke). Pool tables look nice and in good condition. Lines for a table were pretty long, but there was a group for a birthday party there squatting on one of the tables all night. The cook in the back seemed a bit gruff and muttered something at my wife when he was trying to book it back to the kitchen in a crowded bar. Seemed unnecessary, but still, overall the staff was great. Would go back!

It just needs a jukebox and for smoking to be allowed. Beers are cheap, especially the large bierstein drafts you can get for like 8 bucks, where as a pint anywhere else would cost you the Same. Food is also pretty inexpensive. Even in my last visit they lump my tab with my friend but a pint, ginger ale (my friend skipped beer this visit) and an order of chicken tenders was like $17, I was surprised. The outdoor patio is nice and there is a fair amount of seating inside. Some of the downsides are the staff can be hit and miss and there is only one register so lines for drinks can get long, fast. If you see the line short, jump then if you can. Besides that Lenys is like my favorite dive bar - cheap drinks and food, sports and good atmosphere.

Took almost an hour to get seated, but we were able to grab some drinks from the coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, which was a nice option. Once we got upstairs it was gorgeous! Lots of great seating options both inside and out. The views of downtown Seattle and Bellevue were EPIC. The staff were very friendly as well! I have to say, for the price the food and drinks weren't at the level I expected. We ordered nachos, crab Rangoon dip, and pretzel bites. The nachos were probably our favorite, but they weren't anything special for $22. The Rangoon dip was mostly cream cheese and barely had any flavor. I think they were depending on the nori chips to bridge the gap, but those didn't taste the greatest. Finally the pretzel bites were okay, but nothing I couldn't get at another gastropub for a much lower price. The drinks were fine, but not that strong. I ordered the Glacier Peak which was beautiful and refreshing. We'll be back for the views and maybe a couple of cocktails, but I'd say if you're bar hopping, spend money on food somewhere else in the area.
