I can't say much about the service since I always order takeout, but the food is phenomenal. They do pizza with a twist, inspired by specialties from different countries. Everything feels innovative, creative, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Napoli Pizza - Inspired by the iconic Margherita. It has a classic tomato sauce base, strips of creamy mozzarella fior di latte, and fresh basil leaves. Simple and done right. The dough was pillowy and light with a beautiful char from the wood-fired oven. I love a thick crust, and this one delivered. Santiago Pizza - One of their top sellers! It's topped with their 4-hour stewed meat, caramelized onions, and sweet drop peppers. At first, I thought the peppers were tomatoes because of the sweetness, but they're actually peppers, super flavorful. It also has a rich tomato sauce base and whole milk mozzarella, which makes it creamy with a nice tang. Highly suggest trying this version! Pistachio Tiramisu - Definitely creamy with just a hint of pistachio flavor. Still very tasty, but the ratio was a bit off. They need more ladyfingers and less mascarpone. There's just way too much mascarpone, so while the flavor is there, the texture ends up being mostly cream rather than layered dessert.

Underrated pizza spot in Capitol Hill! They have a huge menu of great quality pizzas that are definitely shareable! My favorite was the one with the beef and tomatoes on top! Loved how they have olive oil oil on the side. Even their salad was very good! I highly recommend and I would come back.

TLDR: pizzas inspired from cities all around the world Really great pizza spot featuring flavors that are both common and unique. Each pizza is named after the city that inspired its flavors. I ordered the Madrid (tomato and bell pepper sauce topped with pancetta, onions, and potatoes) and the Tokio (garlic butter base topped with various mushrooms). For mushroom lovers - the Tokio pizza is for you, the cheese + mushrooms + truffle oil on top really brings it together. For the Madrid, the thinly sliced potatoes on top were what sold it for me, never had potatoes as a pizza topping but after eating this pizza I will now!

Sheesh! I've had the unfortunate displeasure of trying many a pizza place in Seattle, mainly from the preferences of my corporate overlords. Capitale came as a recommendation from a trusted source, and the source's trust has expanded!! My appetizer was the Salmone which was way tastier than it had any right to be. A proper sleeper! Maybe I'm just ignorant but salmon strawberry is a legitimate combo. There's something about a nice pizza that's just satisfying. The dough...texture...flavors. It's all there! The Santiago's multi hour stewed meat topping definitely had that meaty, savory, and juicy flavor that can only be obtained from stewing in its own juices for many hours. Finally, I loved the pistachio tiramisu! A heaping filling to top off the meal. The ultimate compliment - not too sweet. Did I mention that the host and owners were super personable? I don't speak a lot of Italian but I know when it's being spoken around me and I truly believe that it adds to the environment in a flavorful way. 5/5

Really good blue and black berry cheesecake.

Cozy...like your living room with the pizza oven fire flickering like your own fireplace. Someone stretching and placing dough on the pan. Another guy putting pizzas in and out and applying the finishing touches. Each one their own master of their piece of the "pie"! We had the Calabria and the Roma...both INCREDIBLE! Actually, I have ZERO doubt that each and every single thing they make there is absolutely incredible. The only thing warmer than that oven was the warmth of the staff. Felt like family pizza night. Then there's the aesthetics. Beautiful accent lighting...the nerve center of the operation front and center for the lucky ones to notice. Just watch...you'll see the level of care and detail that finishes off the pizza before it makes its way to the table. Artistry! I will request maybe 30-45 seconds longer in the oven next time...I really enjoy a little char on my crust...just me. By the way, the artichoke salad that landed on the table next to us had me about to introduce myself so I could better my chances at getting a taste! Just sayin.

The service is kinda of slow. Took a while to get our orders and our desserts. The espresso martini is really good and has that real coffee flavor. The trio bruschetta appetizer was good. The portions weren't big but we got to try it all. The pizzas are really good. The dough is very soft and airy. The toppings are different, not like your typical pizzas. The desserts are all amazing. Highly recommend.

Creative composition, but the flavors did not work that well together, and were ultimately either overwhelming (saltiness of the salami) or bland. We tried 5 different pizzas.

We had an excellent family dinner experience at Capitale Pizzeria. Service all around was fantastic from the small team . Being that we have three children under the age of six I like to make a reservation with notes, the restaurant manager was extremely courteous and accommodating to us (ensuring very little glassware was in the table.) Our entire dinner appetizer, entree, deserts and drinks were wonderful! Perfectly curated Neapolitan pizza that adults and children of all ages can appreciate; our 6 year old ate nearly 6 slices of the cheese pizza, and our 1year old enjoyed the focaccia with pesto! Aside from the wonderful food and customer service I have to review the atmosphere and accommodations. The restaurant itself is very well designed as it's ideal for both intimate dates, professional team gathering, or an early dinner with your family. The restrooms were what captured both my kiddos hearts, my son and daughter could not believe how clean and cozy the restrooms were. Keep in mind anytime we venture to Seattle and my children have to go potty, we have to go wherever is available and in Seattle public restrooms aren't the most welcoming especially to a potty training toddler girl. (From a mom who's always seeking little wins, thank you to the team and owner.) Capitale Pizzeria has officially been added to family favorite dinner location, we will definitely return and highly recommend!

My sister and I visited Seattle for her first time, and we were on the hunt for an amazing Neapolitan-style pizza. Yelp reviews led us to Capitale Pizzeria, and wow -- what a perfect choice! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Lucas was our server, and he was wonderful -- attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. There was also a sweet Brazilian server who shared tips on where to find pão de queijo (cheesy Brazilian bread!) -- loved that touch of hospitality and connection. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious -- from the wood-fired pizza to the caprese salad (so fresh and flavorful) to my sister's blood orange Italian soda, which she couldn't stop raving about. The only small suggestion I'd make is maybe a bit more mozzarella or balsamic on the caprese to balance the tomatoes. The restaurant itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully lit -- such a warm, inviting ambiance. Service was top notch, and you could tell everyone genuinely cared about creating a great dining experience. Thank you, Capitale team, for the amazing food and hospitality! We'll definitely be back on our next Seattle trip.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had!! Including in Italy. We got the Sãu Paulo. One pizza is a great sharing size for two people as well. The flavor combination was just unreal, unlike any pizza I've had before. The way they cooked the garlic was very unique! Great ambiance- we went on a Sunday around 7pm and found it not too busy, but still managed to feel cozy and intimate. Great open air dining room and beautiful decor.

A cute gem right off Broadway in Capitol Hill! The interior has a beautiful aesthetic, the food was delicious, and the service was superb. Definitely worth a visit.

Take an adventure with their thoughtfully created pizzas inspired by regions around Spain. Save room for dessert as the tiramisu is outstanding! Service top notch

Mediocre food with mediocre service. This was my first (and probably last) time stopping in. The food was OK, spoken as a girl from New Jersey who grew up under a strong Italian influence. The service was also OK. We arrived before a large table who seemed to know the owner, and then was served before us, delaying our food substantially. It was hard to get the owner's attention, as he was also flirting with one of the girls at our table. I went with the Cosenza, which is a take on a pepperoni pizza. The meat was too gamey for my liking. I was at a table of 6 and everyone thought their pie was OK, but nothing to write home about. The space is cute but a little too bright for a date night. I think the presentation beats the taste.

Roma: don't knock it, just try it.

To me, a full 5 stars, means the restaurant goes above and beyond. Food, Ambience, and Service all have to be on point, and Spinasse has it all. You walk in and it's warm and welcoming. It's a fantastic mix of classic Italian decor mixed with a modern casual restaurant with large viewing windows of the kitchen. You're then met by extremely friendly and helpful staff. They've got answers to your questions, they're great at conversation, but not too in your business. Fantastic service. As I said, I have no critique to give, so I'll just try and describe what I tasted. We started with the ANTIPASTO MISTO DELLA CASA which is essentially small portions of all of their antipasta. This can rotate seasonally. Every single dish in this was amazing. We think the Capricciosa salad was our favorite out of the bunch, but everything was fantastic. We then ordered two half orders of Pasta, the TAJARIN CON BURRO E SALVIA and the TAJARIN AL RAGU. The TAJARIN CON BURRO E SALVIA is essentially pasta in an emulsified butter and sage sauce. I'm not gonna lie, I had low expectations for such a simple dish, but WOW. Sage can be VERY overpowering, but not in this dish. You taste the sage, but as a compliment not as an overpowering flavor. The ragu was also fantastic. The Tajrain by the way - perfectly al dente. It's such a thin pasta that it could easily be overcooked, but they nailed it. Then the Pan-roasted king salmon with sauteed chanterelles, crimini brodo and thyme oil... omg... Perfect pairing. Crispy skin, tender king salmon, and those mushrooms... one of my favorite dishes I've had ever. Not too salty, mushrooms were perfectly - al dente? not too chewy, but not too mushy. Perfect. Dessert was also seasonal - a sort of cake with cream, wafers, chocolate and hazelnuts on top. Phenomenal. If you're visiting SEA, or live here, please do yourself a favor and add this to your list!

Not sure why everyone working there is so miserable. I also feel like the menu hasn't changed in 5-7 years and it feels tired and outdated. Never again for me!!

Not only to experience the food, but the DREAMY outdoor space I had seen all over social media. Service was excellent from start to finish. We managed to get an outdoor seat (yay!) and the vibes were immaculate from the start. It definitely gives off more romantic/date night vibes, but it was also fun to experience with some ladies from my team. Perfect for a girl's night! Obsessed with the string lights, the fountain, and the overall atmosphere. You somehow don't even realize you're in the middle of Seattle when you're here. The menu has so many options which made it so hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Fettucini ai Fungh - fresh fettuccini pasta with wild mushrooms served in a light cream sauce topped with truffle oil, and I also added chicken. When I say this is probably my FAVORITE pasta I've had in Seattle, I'm not kidding... I almost cleared my plate which is hard for me as my eyes are always bigger than my stomach, but I made it happen! The cream sauce was rich but not too heavy, and the truffle oil was prominent without being crazy overpowering. 10/10 absolutely no notes. Hands down would have trouble ordering something else when I visit again. Without a doubt, I will be returning in the future for a date night!
