The pizza here is some of the best I've had in Seattle. The selection they have is large, and they even had a decent amount of vegetarian options to select from. I will say, make a reservation if you plan coming on a weekend/busy time. We were lucky to get a table, but we were only a party of 2 and the staff was very gracious to get us a seat. The staff is very responsive and kind. The restaurant is well decorated, but a bit cramped. Expensive as well, around $27-$29 for one pizza, but I still recommend trying it out! read more

It has a classic tomato sauce base, strips of creamy mozzarella fior di latte, and fresh basil leaves. Simple and done right. The dough was pillowy and light with a beautiful char from the wood-fired oven. I love a thick crust, and this one delivered. Santiago Pizza - One of their top sellers! It's topped with their 4-hour stewed meat, caramelized onions, and sweet drop peppers. At first, I thought the peppers were tomatoes because of the sweetness, but they're actually peppers, super flavorful. It also has a rich tomato sauce base and whole milk mozzarella, which makes it creamy with a nice tang. Highly suggest trying this version! Pistachio Tiramisu - Definitely creamy with just a hint of pistachio flavor. Still very tasty, but the ratio was a bit off. They need more ladyfingers and less mascarpone. Cute restaurant in a cute bustling neighborhood! The pizza was so good and the crust in particular was exceptional. My daughter had the Almalfi pizza, and that one was sooo delicious. Capitale came as a recommendation from a trusted source, and the source's trust has expanded!! My appetizer was the Salmone which was way tastier than it had any right to be. A proper sleeper! Cozy...like your living room with the pizza oven fire flickering like your own fireplace. Someone stretching and placing dough on the pan. Another guy putting pizzas in and out and applying the finishing touches. Each one their own master of their piece of the "pie"! We had the Calabria and the Roma...both INCREDIBLE! Actually, I have ZERO doubt that each and every single thing they make there is absolutely incredible. The only thing warmer than that oven was the warmth of the staff. Felt like family pizza night. Then there's the aesthetics. Beautiful accent lighting...the nerve center of the operation front and center for the lucky ones to notice. Being that we have three children under the age of six I like to make a reservation with notes, the restaurant manager was extremely courteous and accommodating to us (ensuring very little glassware was in the table.) Our entire dinner appetizer, entree, deserts and drinks were wonderful! Perfectly curated Neapolitan pizza that adults and children of all ages can appreciate; our 6 year old ate nearly 6 slices of the cheese pizza, and our 1year old enjoyed the focaccia with pesto! Aside from the wonderful food and customer service I have to review the atmosphere and accommodations. The restaurant itself is very well designed as it's ideal for both intimate dates, professional team gathering, or an early dinner with your family. My sister and I visited Seattle for her first time, and we were on the hunt for an amazing Neapolitan-style pizza. Yelp reviews led us to Capitale Pizzeria, and wow -- what a perfect choice! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Lucas was our server, and he was wonderful -- attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Really loved the chili oil on the table for the pizza, the oil had a very rich flavor. I took the pistachio tiramisu to go and it was packaged up perfectly for that. It was good but kind of bland. I loved the ambiance! The flavors of the pizza were divine! There were 4 of us and two of our pizzas were difficult to negotiate. Lots of uncut meat on top so hard to pick up the pieces. My undertanding is that in Naples, you pick up the whole pizza. But ours were sliced like normal pizzas, so there was something lost in translation there. We loved them anyways! For desert we got canolis and cheesecake. The canolies were fruit flavored, which we didn't care for. The cheesecake was delicious but a bit dry (again, maybe its just a more traditional way of serving cheescake). The server recommended two other desets but both had alcohol in them. So, do take the recommendations if you don't mind the alcohol! Overall a wonderful experince that I will remeber. We will most certainly go again. read more

We love how it was presented with the different accompaniments, but the bread was denser and could have been lifted with more EVOO and salt. Joined friends in Capitol Hill Tuesday to try Capitale for the first time and I'm so glad I did. We ordered the Tokio, Cosenza, Paris, and Napoli pizzas, all 12" and packed with flavor. The ingredients are a perfect blend of local and Italian. The owner Rodrigo chatted with us and shared how much time went into getting the dough just right and you can taste the effort. Service was great. We also tried the Carcioffi salad which had Italian artichoke hearts, mango, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and avocado. Super fresh and a great balance to the pizzas. Our waiter was Italian and recommended the Santiago claiming it was their "best seller", so we went ahead and ordered that along with the caprese salad. It looked absolutely disgusting it was just a pile of stewed meat and caramalized onions (on pizza... as an italian restaurant... really?) The caprese was extremely underwhelming. Big fan of this new pizza spot in Cap Hill! The portions are great for a good price, especially if you share a pizza with someone else (but you could eat one solo if you have a big appetite). I was in Seattle for a conference and had the pleasure of finding Capitale Pizzeria. Their reviews were top-notch so I placed my order and took a short drive. I was nervous about finding street parking, but was encouraged to use the temporary parking in the middle of Broadway while I ran in. Once inside, I was warmly greeted and my pizza was placed in my arms in record time. Once I returned to my hotel I opened the box and was greeted by the most unique pizza I've ever eaten.
