This place always has me at a loss for words! The simplest way I can put it is that I just absolutely LOVE this place! The drinks are amazing and they allow me to customize my drink to how I like it. I came here for the first time last week and since then have gone back 4 more times within that week. That says a lot about how much I enjoy it here. For starters, it's a cute little coffee shop located right off the freeway, surrounded by the hospital and physician's offices. I think these medical employees and office building staffs are their biggest clientele since Cafe Mong isn't exactly located in what I would consider an area with heavy foot traffic. Still, as much as it's hidden from public view, it's still a nice little gem. So far, I've gotten the prosciutto truffle crepe on all visits except one where I tried the turkey pesto crepe. Both of these crepes were delicious, especially their sauces. Also, I love their crepe batter. It's airy with a slight sweetness to it. I haven't tried their sweet crepes yet, but will eventually make my way down the menu soon. However, what really keeps me coming back is thier iced lates. They brew very rich espresso that definitely makes me feel like I'm drinking caffeine, instead of watered down milk. This is a big plus. I also think their service is fast and efficient. Every time, there's the same man and woman who is always working. I assume they are the possible owners or managers? Either way, they are deligent with making to-go orders, regardless of the crowd. The only 2 negative things I have to say is the crepes can be a bit small for the price point. This is typical of cafe/lunch joints so don't expect to get full from it, or eat it in lieu of a full meal. Also, it seems like service is much slower on the weekends. I came in this past Saturday morning. I didn't see that same woman or man that made my orders during the week, but there were 4 other guys working instead. Even though it wasn't busy, my order came out slower than it had been the entire week. I was quietly observing these guys as they each stumbled around looking lost and unsure with themselves. Perhaps, they were training bc everything they did was extremely slow in movements, and overall very confused. It was actually kind of funny. I ordered the same savory crepe and latte. It took about 10 minutes for my order to come out, despite no one else in front of me. Overall, I'm glad I found Cafe Mong and will continue to support them if nothing changes from my past experiences. Even though they aren't necessarily cheap as my bill is always an upwards of $15+ every time I come in, I still think the quality of food and service is worth it. read more

I really do love this cafe, it's the perfect place to get work done! I've gone here twice and was first introduced by a friend of mine and every time the coffee and food was delicious. For my second time, I tried their Dalgona coffee and their Spicy Chipotle Beef sandwich, which was so filling and flavorful it took me a while to finish. The service was pretty good, no one was overly friendly but they all welcome you in and thank you as you leave. I also enjoy this coffee shop because it has a great variety of music and isn't overly noisy, so it's the perfect place to get work done. read more

Cute little crepe cafe located tucked in the corner of a business center that's next door to Southern Hills Hospital. Mong means "dream" and this place is a just that for a foodie. The interior is cozy and dream-like. Clean and staffed with friendly employees. They have an abundance of options: savory and sweet crepes, bakery items, sandwiches, salads, lattes and more. They serve breakfast items all day. We stopped in for a snack and decided to try the wasabi shrimp savory crepe, the creme brûlée strawberry crepe, sea salt caramel cookie and their iced oatmilk chai latte. Everything was warm, delicious and nicely beautifully presented. The sea salt Carmel cookie was warm, with a light gooey caramel and a hint sea salt. A must try! The creme brûlée crepe was generously filled with creme that you'll be provided a spoon to enjoy -- and of course, a signature layer of toasted sugar to crack. The wasabi shrimp crepe was like a delicious sandwich but lesser carbs (I'd like to think) since it's hugged in a warm crepe versus bread. This would be a nice quiet place for a decadent snack, or to work from as they have wifi and coffee to keep you going. This was one of my favorite meals ever. Recommended by a local friend, as I am visiting from out of town. Cafe Mong is located in a business area. Plenty of parking, with some indoor and outdoor seating. The decorations are cute, centralizing around clouds ("mong" is "dream" in Korean). Lots of natural light from the front glass walls. They have serve-yourself napkins and cups for water and clean bathrooms. You can order via QR code at the table where you are sitting (for dine-in) or at the cashier. They serve sweet and savory crepes, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, and hot and cold drinks. For the time being, they also have the Squid Game sugar snacks. What we ordered: Mr. Beef crepe (savory): 5/5 delicious. The distribution and ratio of ingredients (meat vs. fresh vegetables vs. balsamic reduction vs. Dijon mayo vs. cheese) and flavors were just perfect. Crepe itself amazing. Beautiful presentation. Tuna Salad Santa Fe (savory): 5/5 wonderful. Similar perfection of distribution and ratio of ingredients and flavors. Generous but not overboard with the tuna salad. Strawberry Banana Nutella (sweet): 5/5... Similar perfection as above. Noteworthy for this since many places go overboard with Nutella (understandably since it's delicious... But you *can* have too much of it). Drip coffee: (3.5/5). Standard coffee, a bit too dark and strong for me but my partner enjoyed it fine. Served in a cute an hearty pink mug. It took awhile for us to get our first order of savory crepes, but it was also rather crowded then. When we placed our second order for the sweet crepe and coffee, that arrived much faster, and (coincidentally or not) there were less customers to serve by then. Wow! This place makes me happy. And if i lived in Vegas I'd be here once a week at least. I ordered an iced mocha coffee which was pretty tasty. A cherry danish which was delicious and flaky and not too sweet. A turkey BlT crepe was so good i ate every bite. Love how you can pick it up in your hands and it doesn't get messy or fall apart. I also shared a strawberry Nutella as well. The whipped cream mixed with everything brought it all together and was a perfect finishing touch. Staff is nice, restaurant is clean, crepes are delicious especially the salmon lox and truffle prosciutto, and the matcha latte was perfectly made. Now the negative. Just 1 flaw but a very important one. Came in, ordered and witness an Asian male who was working on my two crepes. At the end, he literally used a white rag or the white towel on the side of the counter to wipe both crepes. Don't know if to seal the bottom or sauce dripped in the side of my crepe. That I will never know. Wish I took a video of that. Eventually my sis-in-law and I enjoyed it. We didn't get sick but please pay attention. This place just opened it and would hate to see them close. Happy eats!!! read more

Mind Freaking Blown!!!!!! Crepes are my shit and when you can make a savory crepe this memorable you def get an A++ in my book. When I walked in I was not expecting much since the last cafe place before it wasn't as amazing as it seemed. The smell of freshly made crepes hit you in the face like a fast ball and it was wonderful. I was significantly impressed with the minimal decor but very cohesive with their name. The menu was simple and not overwhelming. I chose the veggie truffle crepe with no red onion. Egg whites, mixed greens, tomato, avocado & truffle aioli rolled in a thin crepe. I bit into the top and I fell into crepe heaven. I've never had something so simple leave me speechless. I was so impressed on how well the crepe held together with all the filling plus aioli. Each bite I took had every veggie plus egg white included. And I promise nothing was left behind. The greens weren't soggy, the tomatoes had a good bite to it and the avocados weren't turning brown. I also loved how the egg whites weren't scrambled but cubed! Side note: they offer buy one get one 50% to all medical workers :) so it applies to everything except pastries. Drinks, chips and crepes. I tried a savory crepe and a salad today for a quick lunch. It tasted very average, and the side salad is TINY. Like 10 leaves tiny. The crepe is also sweetened so I wasn't a fan of it for savory/ lunch, and it gets soggy + breaks apart when you get to the bottom of the cone, so it gets difficult to eat. I'm undecided on this spot because I see the potential and think that maybe their dessert crepes might taste better, but I wouldn't have lunch/ savory items here again. read more

A new cute cafe opening in the southwest area that specializes in crepes... the sandwich kind. Upon entering, you order up front and the menu is up top to choose from crepes, sandwiches, pastries, etc... I am the type of person where if I like one thing I can order it every day for months. I chose savory over sweet and the truffle prosciutto crepe captured my attention because of the flavors and how it is filling but not to the point where you are so full and defeated by the end. It's a crepe made with sweet rice flour, prosciutto, truffle aioli, tomatoes, spring mix and onions. Talk about flavor punch! I like that cafe mong is generous in portions of the ingredients they put in and don't skimp the customer out. Prices are not too high either. Make sure to bring some gum for after because of those onions! Everything is made fresh and ready to order. The ingredients are quality. Their coffee is also good. I order iced the sugar free vanilla with oat milk. The coffee is from Peet's coffee and it is strong! I love coffee but this particular one wakes me up! The cafe is very calm and mellow. Perfect to study or go for a lunch date with a friend or boyfriend. They have an outside patio as well. Parking is ample. I especially like that it's a small business and during these weird times it's important to support small businesses. My wife and I absolutely love Cafe Mong. We have been coming here for nearly 4 years. The establishment is ran by a husband and wife that are absolutely the best! The food here is absolutely delicious and the creativity is incredible. One time they had a spare ribs dish that was so perfectly cooked the meat fell off the bone! My favorite dishes are the: - savory French toast - the breakfast Mong - the chicken Caesar wrap - the turkey BLT wrap The service is great, and they are very attentive to what we order. The ambiance is cozy, they play some great music, and even have a patio to enjoy the weather. The attention to detail is second to none and the food is absolutely delicious. Ordered the beef banh mi. Not very good, I expect a banh mi to have pickled carrots and daikon and a good one with liver pate. Instead I got a couple of leaves of basil and a couple of slices of beef. The sauce was good and the ciabatta bread was also good but $12 , not for me. I went to Cafe Mong today (a Sunday) with high expectations given the rating. My husband and I ordered the spam loco moco and the prosciutto crepe with two iced teas. Our total was $33. The crepe was delicious but the spam loco moco was more like spam and eggs with a side of pineapple and teriyaki sauce. Our order took 50 minutes to come out and I wouldn't say it was too busy (there were about 10-12 people in the cafe and there was only one party ahead of us). The ambience is cute and the food isn't too filling but a little overpriced for the amount of food you get. My personal favorite was the banana Nutella crepe, and my friend's was the peach tea. I also loved the inside decor, which one of the owners explained was because of the name, Café Mong (Mong means "dream" in Korean), and they had named it so because opening this café was a dream come true. Honestly the best crepe ever.. and I take pride in making my own, haha! The composition of all the ingredients in my prosciutto crepe was flawless. The right amount of everything. The truffle aioli is spectacular! The crepe are made with rice flour which gives it a slightly crispy texture, you know like the best part of a pancake that has a fluffy crunch to it? I was honestly deeply impressed. It was delicious!!! The coffee was served in a very nice cup with a saucer. This actually makes a difference.
