I love this place! I've been here many times and am finally writing a review. The crepes are made to order and both the savory and the sweet ones are delicious. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.. The drink menu is extensive and fun. In the past I ordered the Squid Game latte because, come on, you put a name like that on a drink, I AM going to try it! Even though it is off menu now, they have graciously made it for me a few times. On the weekends it gets pretty busy at the cafe so be ready to stand in a line and maybe have to keep an eye out for a seat. They have outdoor seating as well. The interior is nicely decorated without being cluttered. They have a fun Photo Booth that cranks out a photo strip of poses. I've had a ton of crepes in my lifetime, and I must say I was very impressed with the food at Cafe Mong. The texture of the crepe was perfect with a combination of crisp pieces of crepe on the edges and yet delicate. I want to say I'm a little picky about crepes in general since most places either have it too soggy or the batter lacks flavor. I was kinda mind blown over the savory truffle crepe. Not sure if they use a different batter for their sweet versus savory crepes but it was on the sweeter side. The creme brulee crepe is a custard lover's dream--they certainly are generous. My lavender latte was SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD. I'm definitely not a coffee connoisseur so not sure how much validity my review has but I like my latte and coffees to be sweet, and I did not have to add any sugar. It's run by a lovely couple and the main chef is a former sushi chef. I guess that rolling skill got translated quite well to the crepe. I hope they continue to come up with creative dishes that set them apart from the other crepe places in town. read more

Great hidden a spot in a medical complex just off the freeway. If you blink, you'll miss it but it is clear many people haven't because it was busy when we got there. Great variety of breakfast and lunch options. Prices were fair. Cafe has a cozy ambience with outdoor seating available as well. We tried the banana strawberry crepe and wasn't disappointed. Mood- Taro I saw Taro Latte was on the menu and wanted to have this as an early day treat. I love when I see pictures and it captivates my senses to go out and try a new place Upon entering they were busy getting orders together, however I was quickly acknowledged and told it would be a minute. This was totally fine as it allowed me more time to look at the menu and figure out what I wanted to entertain. You order at the counter, pay, find seating, and it is brought out to you. Opted for the Taro Latte of course, and the Loco Moco. Now that Taro Latte was everything I could have hoped for it to be. So wonderful. The Loco Moco came with Poached eggs and I will admit this was my very first time trying eggs like that. The Loco Moco is not your traditional style brown gravy but a teriyaki pineapple glaze style. The flavor was neat. Interior is several table and chair arrangements, along with outdoor seating. One thing that I thought was a pretty cool addition was their own photo booth. The decor is very eclectic and very eye catching. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend - pricing is a typical of the rates these days. I came here not really expecting much, judging based on the menu I saw. However, when we got there, there was an additional menu and that one had a bit more choices. On the second visit, I saw that they incorporated these items on the main menu above. I got the Reuben sandwich and a banana nutella with strawberries crepe on the first visit and Chicken Pesto on the second visit. Reuben is an open-faced sandwich and I really enjoyed the overall taste of it. Cut it into pieces to avoid the mess! Chicken pesto is as expected, so there's nothing really much for me to say about it. Work in progress for me to try their other sandwiches in the near future! For crepes, I'm not really a savory crepe kind of person so don't know if I'll ever get around to wanting to try one, but I'm always down for the sweet crepes! For the drinks, I'm not personally a coffee drinker at all but due to recent influence, I got the iced mocha latte to try and surprisingly, it was really good. I ended up getting that both times. It's just right for me. The interior is very clean and fresh looking, and the staff are so polite and friendly. Super happy tummies!!!! I'm embarrassed to say that we've driven by Cafe Mong several times and this morning was the first time visiting and certainly not the last. My interest was piqued looking at the reviews and pictures on Yelp. Everything looked amazing! We ordered an iced lavender latte which was so fresh and tasty. A great beverage to drink after a massage or spa treatment. A hot white chocolate mocha which was perfect, not too sweet. The Cafe Mong breakfast sandwich and the lox crepe were both phenomenal and filling. You could taste the love and care crafted into each bite and drink. Very cool cafe! Loved the ambiance. It's a terrific place to meet up for coffee or tea, breakfast, brunch or lunch. Great spot tuck away near IKEA! You definitely have to stop by and try some of their drinks! I didn't have time to grab food but there's a lot of seats and space available to sit down, snack, study, chat, and have a good time! Great vibes! Staff was really friendly, it was more of a low volume place which I can appreciate because alot of coffee shops are super loud. I absolutely LOVED this place! From the decor to the food and drinks, I will be back! Maybe it was just because my bff was meeting my new boyfriend and we made a fun memory, but I absolutely loved it here! It wasn't very busy, which in a way made it very quaint. With it's puffy cloud lights, bicycles, and succulent decor all simply put around a free flowing well lit atmosphere, we felt very calm and private. For food I ordered the Turkey BLT crepe with their soup of the day (which was mozzarella corn), my new beau had the Chicken Pesto sandwich, and the bff had the creme brûlée with strawberries crepe. For drinks the girls had an iced lavender latte and the boy had just a coke. I will say everything was DIVINE...except my turkey BLT. I honestly was just expecting more. The aioli tasted like miracle whip and the cheese looked like and had the consistency of kraft singles. Are those bad products? Well, no. But when I'm going out for a nice brunch with friends, I'm not exactly trying to eat what a child would want at home. Outside of that, everything was SO GOOD! And exceeded what I would expect! That mozzarella corn soup might sound odd to you, but DO TRY IT!! I LOVED it!! So even with my negative experience with the turkey BLT crepe, I still give this place 5 stars. The combination of taste plus the crunch of vegetables, the sweetness blended crepe and the tasty sauce makes this a full satisfying meal that you would want to have for lunch or dinner over & over. Just off the 2-15 and Sunset exit, this little cafe has so much variety! My girlfriend and I came for a brunch with her newborn and it was comfortable enough inside for us to hang out for 2 hours. I ordered a whole bunch of food while she got just 1 thing. It was delicious and I'm glad we made our date at this location. I ordered a matcha cookie which was soft, moist, and had a very noticeable matcha flavor. Good job for that one, guys! I couldn't decide between the salmon lox crepe and the avocado toast so I got both. I am a sucker for salmon and this one was amazing. Good smoked salmon flavor wrapped in a soft crepe shell. Basically a nice and light salmon sandwich, in crepe form. The avocado toast was visually appealing and of course had great flavor. I loved the swirl of the balsamic vinegar on top. That was a simple but nice addition to taste. My friend got the breakfast sand which and she loved it. Who can go wrong with two eggs and bacon on toast. It's a must have staple for any cafe and they did a great job preparing the meals. There are also outdoor seating available for times when the Vegas sun is being merciful, and they have water bowls for pets so clearly a pet friendly establishment. read more

We ordered the Matcha Bingsoo, Strawberry Cheesecake Bingsoo, Squid game latte(which is basically the Dalgona latte), Melona Latte, & Brown Sugar Matcha. Everything we ordered was deliiicious. My cousins and I felt so much like home in this cafe. The owner even "service" us with a banana nutella crepe When we first came in, the owner greeted us and explained the menu. Cafe Mong is a cute little gem nestled amongst medical buildings. It's no surprise then that their offerings seem somewhat healthier than the brunch norm. "Mong" actually means "dream" in both Korean and Chinese, so they have a little ethereal theme going on, with blue wallpaper, cloud light fixtures, and moon and star wall art. My biggest gripe with the decor is how uncomfortable the seating is. Hard flat tables and seats fill the entire place with just 2 single seater couches and 2 other cushioned seats available in the whole store. But I've been noticing that a lot of covid era establishments seem to be going for this minimalist look; this type of furniture is easier to clean and sanitize. It was very convenient to order because you can self seat, use the qr code unique to your seat, order and pay electronically. But the wait was still very long. We waited a little over half an hour for our food and drink, not all of which merited the wait. We ordered the truffle blue crab egg Benedict, truffle Angus sandwich, blueberry cheesecake crepe, matcha latte with almond milk and taro latte with almond milk. Both drinks were delicious, but portions weren't very generous; my drink of over $5 lasted a few sips. The Benedict was okay. They messed up on one of my poached eggs, and the crab mixture was somewhat briny. The baguette was yummy, but the balsamic reduction was a bit too strong for me. My husband liked his truffle Angus sandwich, but it was very small, and he was hungry within 2 hours later. It was more like a toast than a sandwich. I liked the truffle, sourdough bread, and mushrooms in his dish. We both agree we wouldn't likely come back for food/real meal. I feel like such a fat American, because the main issue was with portions. However the crepe was delicious. The crepe was thin and crispy, and it was overflowing with goodies inside. We liked it better than the crepes at Suzuya. It was also fun to eat and conveniently served in its own metal table top holder. While we likely won't come back for an actual meal, we'd definitely come back for dessert and drinks. We plan on trying other crepes and the croffle. read more

I have always seen this place since l live up the street, but always just seemed to say I'd want to stop someday! Finally I stopped by and omg so good!! I went 2x in one week. First time, I got the chicken teriyaki bowl which was great! I just wish they'd give you more rice, they give you a tiny portion, i finished the whole bowl really fast. Kinda pricey for what you get, but it was good! I also got the strawberry lemonade and a soup to go! The soup i ate at home later and was SO GOOD! I believe they change it everyday. The 2nd time I went, I got the spicy beef sandwich. It was good, but I didn't realize it was roast beef. I thought it was more like sliced beef meat pieces. The roast beef was kinda slimy so i took most of it off and left one small thin piece. My bf got the breakfast sandwich for the 2nd time b/c he liked it from the first time. Last minute decision to hit up a local spot for brunch and my friend and I decided upon Cafe Mong. We went at 10:45am and got the last table available. Very cute vibe: clouds hanging from the ceiling, rainbows, bicycles, and Polaroids (plus a photobooth) finished out the look. You can either order at the counter and then sit, or you can scan the QR code at the table and order online and have it sent to your table! We were glad we did it this way or we wouldn't have had anywhere to sit! So many wonderful choices but I finally agreed upon a peach green tea with Splenda, the creme brûlée crepe, savory French toast, a chocolate chip cookie, salted caramel cookie, and a chocolate twist. My friend ordered the matcha tea, crunchy apple pie croffle, and wasabi shrimp crepe. We served ourselves water while we waited. They brought out our pastries first, each on a separate plate, perfect for taking pictures but I felt bad for dirtying 3 plates. Cookies were of decent size and very soft. I actually ended up bringing them home for my husband and son who are cookie monsters and they devoured them, with 4 thumbs up! The crepes came out next, served in a cardboard squished cone and a spiral black cone holder. The wasabi shrimp was beautifully spiraled and had a subtle wasabi kick. My friend really liked the honey mustard dressing. The creme brûlée crepe was the same shape only it was topped with the custard and the traditional candy crusted top. It was hard to eat; I used a spoon to crack the top and scoop out most of the top custard. Then as I started to bite the crepe, I discovered the strawberries and cream that was also rolled inside. It was a little harder to slide out of the sleeve since it was a heavier, softer crepe, so I ended up ripping the paper cone and sliding it onto my plate to finish it. My friend enjoyed her crunchy apple pie croffle. It was a croissant that was warmed and pressed in a panini grill and topped with an apple butter compote and a mixed nut topping and whipped cream. She enjoyed the balance of flavors, even though she was expecting actual chunks of apple. I truly enjoyed every bite of my savory French toast. It was a thick piece of toast sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, then topped with 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, and two beautifully poached eggs, and maple syrup. It truly was one of the most satisfying breakfasts I have had in a long time. Oh, I forgot to mention how satisfying and refreshing the matcha tea and peach green tea were. Even better, I was so full from the delicious food, I was able to get a to go cup. And even better was that they allowed us to split the check, even after we had ordered. Super friendly and accommodating staff, delicious and generously portioned food, and a calming and heart warming ambiance. Definitely recommend stopping by to try!!! read more

I love coming here for a light breakfast. They have the best crepes in town and a lot of other offerings I yet have to try food options wise and drinks. They offer oat milk , not just the usual soy and almond substitutes. Been here quite a few times and every time I always get the truffle prosciutto crepe - so delicious. Also had the salmon lox crepe and wasabi shrimp crepe for something new , both are very good too but the truffle prosciutto is my absolute favorite. Never was a fan of savory crepes until now. Also tried the truffle blue crab benedict - delicious as well but portion is on the smaller side keep in mind. If you want a sweet crepe they got a creme brulee option that is pretty good. I recommend sharing this one with someone since they really pack the crepe with custard filling. Staff here are very consistent and friendly. I've been here twice so far, and I can see myself making many more visits in the future! This is my current personal favorite stop for crepes in the Southwest part of town. During my most recent visit, I ordered a custard brûlée crepe and a chicken pesto sandwich. My last visit, I ordered avocado toast. All of these items came out fresh and delicious, but the custard brûlée has my heart! The strawberries pair so well with the cream, and the crepe itself is the perfect softness to eat with a fork or spoon. It's also a good size to share as a snack, like the other items. The aesthetic of Cafe Mong is very cute. This little cafe is full of natural light from the windowed entrance wall and minimally but tastefully decorated with plants and cloud light fixtures.
