Super friendly staff, great customer service and generous portions! The best brisket ever in my opinion.

The second time going was a way slower day with maybe only abt 4-5 tables filled throughout the restaurant and still waited 15-20 just for our waters while not having to take our orders yet. I don't know if the training needs to be fixed or worked on but that has just been my experience going! The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING which is why I OBVIOUSLY went back but the lack of service definitely did not match the food! Going again tomorrow and I hope it was maybe just those 2 times but i will keep an update!

The waitress shared some suggestions which were well received by my friend who was a first time diner. I must say, if you have never ordered one of the specialty drinks here, it is worth the money. I tried an old-fashioned hot chocolate with whipped cream and my friend ordered one of the fresh squeezed juices with ginger. Although it was made with water, the hot chocolate was silky, smooth, and delightfully creamy. We both were very pleased. We also tried the honey. Butter biscuit bites. These bite sized pieces of deliciousness were great to enjoy with the drinks. The jelly served with them is scrumptious. Our entrées were equally as delicious. Both had plentiful portions, prepared, hot and fresh. This meal totally hit the spot. I will be back.

When you walk in you have the option to do a to go order on the kiosk or stand in line to order in/to go. While in line you are in line where they hold their bakery items, smart business move as it definitely enticed me to order some baked goods! We got 2 kouign amann, one cheesecake and one strawberry. Both were so good and not overly sweet. I'll definitely get it again and try other options they have. The food is really good and tasty! I got the torta Chicken milanesa with fideo soup and hubby got the half/half salad chicken milanesa. Service was great despite it being so busy. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to get to our table which is awesome considering. The overall feel of the place is social and well spaced. Definitely will be coming back!

I don't think it's the staff's fault, more a shortcoming of the kitchen setup, but it still caused a pretty significant wait. We tried to go on a Saturday morning, not realizing how popular it was, and it was a total no-go. So we ordered ahead for Sunday morning, planning to just pick up and bring food back to the house. The food was ready when we arrived, but the coffee wasn't (I don't think they have a fridge or warmer to keep drinks at the right temperature, so they don't make them until you come in to pick up.) We had to remind them that we'd ordered drinks and we ended up waiting another 20-30 minutes, our food in hand, while we waited on 3 iced coffee orders. I think the issue was a mix of crowds and kitchen layout. They were very clearly trying to make sure that the people who were seated in the restaurant were being served as well, but all of the drink orders were going through this one, tiny coffee station that frankly couldn't keep up. And I think our drink orders were basically added at the end of the drink queue when we arrived to pick up our order. We didn't get any sort of priority because we'd technically ordered ahead. We essentially skipped the line, but not the queue on drinks. All in all, I'd definitely want to visit again. The food and drinks WERE really great. I had the avocado toast with chicken and for a seemingly simple dish it was absolutely phenomenal. The abuelita's was the best of the 3 iced coffee offerings we tried, and I would definitely order again. But we'll definitely have to plan/strategize around crowds and be prepared for a long wait even if we order ahead.

3/5 Stars - Mixed Visit - Great Fresh Juices, But Service and Atmosphere Fell Short:…read moreI stopped by First Watch for a casual lunch/brunch with a friend, and while some parts were enjoyable, others left me underwhelmed for the price point. Our waitress started off strong with excellent customer service--she was friendly, attentive when taking our order, and made a good first impression. However, after that, she disappeared and didn't check back on us at all. We had to flag down another employee when our food arrived because the order was completely wrong. Thankfully, they fixed it quickly once we pointed it out, and the corrected dishes came out fine. The fresh juices are definitely a highlight--I really enjoyed them and they're a big reason I'd consider returning. They're bright, flavorful, and feel genuinely fresh, which aligns with First Watch's focus on wholesome ingredients. On the downside, the restaurant itself needed some attention: the restroom wasn't clean, and the trash cans were overflowing, which isn't great for a place that emphasizes a fresh, inviting vibe. The music was also cranked up way too loud--I could barely hear the waitress (when she was around) or even talk to my lunch date without straining. It made the whole experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. Overall, the food (once corrected) was solid, and those juices stand out, but between the service gaps, maintenance issues, and noise level, it didn't feel worth the higher price compared to similar spots like Panera or Jason's Deli, where I can get fresh options in a calmer, more consistent setting. I'd come back specifically for the juices on a quick grab-and-go, but for a full sit-down meal, I'd probably choose one of those alternatives instead.
