Looking forward to an elegant dinner in Bisbee
    Trevor C.

If you find yourself wandering the charming historic streets of Bisbee, this place is a must‑visit stop for a memorable dinner. Nestled right on Main Street in a beautifully preserved old building, Café Roka feels like a piece of Bisbee's soul warm, creative, and just a little bit magical. Walking in, you immediately notice the cozy, welcoming vibe -- it's the kind of restaurant where locals and visitors mix effortlessly, and reservations are definitely a good idea because it fills up quickly. What really stands out here is the food. The menu changes with the seasons and the chef's inspiration, so every dish feels thoughtful and fresh. Whether you go for small plates to share or a full entrée, the flavors are bold without being fussy, and everything comes plated beautifully. Many people rave about standout items like short‑rib ravioli or other chef‑driven specialties and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in every bite. Service is another highlight: attentive, friendly, and ready with helpful recommendations from the wine list or cocktail menu. Paired with the historic ambiance including art deco charm and a relaxed yet refined feel you'll likely find yourself lingering over dessert or another glass of wine. Overall: A stellar dining experience in Bisbee that's perfect for date nights, special occasions, or just treating yourself to a show‑stopping meal. Reservations recommended!

This place was definitely an experience. The live music was incredible and really set the tone for the evening. My appetizer was delicious and the highlight for me, I was a bit let down by my main course in comparison. Overall, still a memorable visit for the atmosphere and entertainment.

What an amazing date night experience. The vibes of the old mining town building was giving. The hustle of the servers going up and down narrow stairs was astonishing. The menu was really well done too. Our server said he put it together from most poplar dishes ranked. He was a math guy. We shared the seafood special and it was enough for two. Only because we had a long night ahead and didn't want to get too full. Reservations are a must!!

Delicious! Great food and service- make reservations as they are busy. Craft cocktails are a must try- you won't be disappointed. Parking might be iffy. I parked a block away (street parking). I'll definitely be back, with the reservation and an extra 10 minutes to find some parking.

Wow! An absolutely incredible spot. Everything from the drinks, the food, the ambiance, the service, and the music was great. My husband and I loved it so much that we went back the next day to try more entrees.

Loved our food here! The Potato Gnocchi with sweet potato was my favorite, but we also enjoyed the Spicy Italian Sausage in Penne, and the Sweet Corn Risotto Cake.

Would absolutely recommend. Worth planning ahead for a reservation and worth the price. It's a nice, clean, classy place. We had the bread and spread appetizer, the filet mignon medium rare, and the Chilean sea bass with lobster ravioli and jumbo shrimp. We finished with a crème brûlée. Every course was perfect and the service was excellent, from the water refills to the server. Can't wait to go again.

My first time at Cafe Roka and WOW! what an experience. The music was very pleasant to hear and the drinks were great. Richard our waiter took great care of us. The food was amazing, it made my mouth water. I recommend coming here if you come to Bisbee.

Had an absolutely phenomenal and unforgettable meal here for my birthday in Bisbee. Cafe Roka truly deserves all of its accolades. The restaurant itself is super pretty and there was live music the night we came. It has such an intimate vibe that's perfect for a special occasion. The food was soooo so good. Same with the drinks! I was super impressed. The lasagna was probably the best I have ever had in my life! The stuffed dates and breads & spreads were my other two favorites, but everything we had was amazing from the gnocchi to the short rib. Service was really great too. Make sure to make a reservation! If you're in Bisbee and you're a foodie, definitely make the trip to Cafe Roka.

Wow, was this place incredible. They took us without reservation. All four in our party were dressed in tees, jeans, and tennis skirt. It was quickly apparent that we were under dressed for such a nice restaurant. My mom said they had a dress code and they encouraged reservations. We were taken up to the third floor and given a seat right along their windows. It was a great spot. Ms. Thayer was our waitress, and she saw to our every need. We ordered the bread and spreads, delicious. We got a side salad with a Dijon style dressing. We all ordered our food which didn't take too long to arrive. There are already so many good food pics reviewed, but I've included a few more. I had the filet mignon, and it came medium as requested, with a savory gravy. The herb seasoned vegetables were delightful. We also splurged on dessert. I got a flourless chocolate cake, so decadent. I live in the Albuquerque area and we have very few restaurants that meet this standard. The only down side is parking. We found a little lot just up the street.

This is a MUST try when visiting Bisbee! The restaurant appears very small from the exterior, but has 3 levels with plenty of seating. We were sat on the 3rd floor right by the windows, providing a great view of Main St below. There was live music, which was a perfect addition to the already tasteful dim lighting ambiance. Our server provided us recommendations, and was attentive but not over the top to where we could still enjoy our meal without frequent interruptions. My husband ordered the filet mignon (on special) which was paired with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked to perfection, and the veggies were seasoned tastefully. I opted for the Italian sausage penne pasta and it was such an amazing combo of flavors-- and a healthy portion size for the price point! I was able to bring plenty of leftovers home for a meal the next day. This was such a gem of a spot to enjoy on our last evening in Bisbee and we will be back. Recommend making a reservation if visiting on a a Friday or Saturday evening!

When we shared with friends we were headed to check out Bisbee, this restaurant was highly recommended. When we checked into our hotel, The Carrick, we asked them about Cafe Roka. They enthusiastically agreed that it was a great restaurant. They proceeded to pick up the phone and make a reservation on our behalf. We checked in with the receptionist and we were quickly seated. The servers all support each other, which is nice. Everyone one of them were very nice and provided great customer service. We started with the salad which had a very delicious dressing on it. I could have been happy with just salad and bread! Next, our server brought out a refreshing lemon sorbet to clean out pallet. Loved it! Don order the short rib dinner. When the ribs came out, he touched them with his fork and they fell apart. There were tender and delicious! He proclaimed this dish to be is favorite short rib preparation. I ordered the special which was wonderful sauted vegetables on top of steak on top of raviolis with a great sauce. I loved the variety and depth of flavors. We finished with sharing a Nutella cheesecake - one of the best cheesecakes we've tasted. What a great experience! We'll be back!

I had my dog with me and was told I could sit inside, right by the entrance. Two other tables had just left. All the server asked me is if my dog was friendly. Yes, he was at his best behavior. I ordered a Frick'n chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious! While I'm not fond of jalapenos, the few on the bun weren't overpowering. The chicken breast was large and the sauce, pickles, tomato slice and onions were plentiful. I got excellent service since it was just me and Hansel. The ambiance is old rustic, with an open ceiling and high rotating fans. I've been here before when the place was crowded and loud, but tonight was a quiet date night with my dog.

The streets were packed, and I had shown up without reservations expecting the worst. I somehow waited less than 10 minutes to be seated, and had my drink order taken right away. Like the menu, the alcohol selection is very safe--comprised of a ton of beers and liquors you've probably already heard of. I opted for a local delicacy--Bisbee Blue G&T. While I'd prefer they take their chances on a limited menu of real cocktails, it was nice having something new you don't really run into outside of a small town. Your choices of food are basically Mexican, sandwiches, burgers, and barbecue. I went with the West Texas Millionaire Burger and it was certainly worth it.You can't go wrong with truffle or sweet potato fries, either. Portions are huge--perfect after you spend a day walking around for miles. The atmosphere feels like you're in a diner, and it's not as flashy or artsy as a lot of places. That's fine. While there's no flagship dish for foodies to rave about, it's quality food in a prime location that anyone can appreciate.

The exterior looks like a mix of three attractions: a restaurant, a museum, & a movie theater. I can't say if all three of those things are really in there, it's just an impression. I will say that I am glad I took at chance at trying their food at a time when I was seriously hungry. I was invited to sit wherever I wanted, so I chose a table along the wall with a big TV right above me. I was greeted kindly, and given time to order my food, which I decided would be a couple fried eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties, toast, & cheesy grits. They were so good, with the hashbrowns being, as my partner put it, "The best he's ever had!" I personally enjoyed the patties the most, and the grits the least. The grits were made in a way that the shredded cheese was sprinkled on top of the grits instead of mixed in it, and I do not prefer that style. It was still good, just not as good as others I've tried. So that's why I'm not docking points; why be super critical on one side dish when everything else was an A+? I liked the wholesome feel of the restaurant, like everybody knew each other, and the fact that it was pet-friendly was a bonus too. A couple came in with three cute dogs, and that just made me super happy (not to mention, it WAS on my birthday too). I would come here again if I return to Bisbee.
