While waiting for car wash next door, decided to walk over here to grab lunch. Ordered the bulgogi cheesesteak. Took the about ten minutes to have it ready. The roll wasn't too bid, it was a medium size sandwich. The bulgogi beef was good but there was too much caramelized onion in it. I took some of them out of the sandwich. The store was full of people, was barely few tables available both indoor and outdoor. It was very clean and tidy though. They had lots of good bakery items on display. Hi, folks! I went to a blood test today early morning and thennnnnn I stopped by Cafe Rx, cause I deserved it! just like that I loved this spot. Calm, enough space, indoor and outdoor sitting. customer service is always great. I did an egg sandwich with bacon in a bun, which was perfectly cooked and with right temperature; bacon was crispy and tasty. The bun was fresh and soft. I think there's more than two eggs in this sandwich ,so one sandwich is perfect for one person ...and at the end I got a Matcha scone, which is one of my favorites here ...I did an Americano. I'm exploring more cafes in the area and decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon. I usually go to cafes to solely do work for a few hours so seating, reliable wifi, outlets, and open space are important to me. So as soon as I walked in, the first thing I got hit by was heat. It was extremely humid there. Within minutes of sitting down I was pretty uncomfortable with the humidity. One section of the café felt a bit cooler, but they didn't have any outlets. I really considered leaving and going to another spot... and an hour later, I did! PLEASE turn on the AC! I ordered an iced matcha latte (~$6) and it was underwhelming. It was powdery, tasteless, and there was way too much milk. It's hard to find a good matcha drink nowadays. Sigh. They do have an extensive food and drink menu. They offer coffee, tea, bubble tea, milkshakes, etc. Their food options are diverse and cater to breakfast (omelets, toast), brunch (sandwiches, salads, paninis), dinner (pasta, rice bowls), and dessert (gelato, pastries). Keep in mind their kitchen closes at 3:40pm (over 3 hours before they actually close???) and they stop making espresso drinks 30 minutes before closing. In my opinion, this café is more of a dine-in spot for a late breakfast or a light lunch. Nothing really stands out to me on their menu that I can't get at other places so I'm not sure if I'd come back. It is beautifully decorated and has a good amount of seating, but it's just not the most comfortable place for me to efficiently do work. So I come here often for cappuccino which are delish-esp with oat milk! They have pastries as well which are just fine. They have cool ample seating and parking which is cool. Last week I tried the Philly cheesesteak because my partner wanted to try it so we shared it. It was well presented and well wrapped. I was slightly disappointed because there were some non chewable pieces and I felt there were more onions and peppers than meat. I love the peppers and onions especially in a cheesesteak, but it was just too much-we could barely taste the meat. I wouldn't try it again but I'll definitely continue to come because I love this place.i just won't have lunch there. It's cool that they even offer such items. read more

I ordered delivery from here, and I recieved everything neatly packed. The Parmesan truffle fries were well seasoned, and they honored my request of extra crispy. My ABLT was okay; the taste of the tomatoes threw me off. They were not fresh. I also got an iced matcha that had the perfect balance of matcha and sweetness. (March 17, 2022) Dropped by a friend's in Cresskill and picked up a turkey avocado panini ($12). We usually frequent Farmhouse and heard about this Cafe RX, casual dining right on Piermont Road. Turkey Avocado panini ($12) Nicely wrapped, good portion, came in a bread not a ciabatta, and tasted very healthy. Nothing was overwhelming, well layered avocado. Updated review: I have been coming to this coffee shop consistently for about a year and this place never disappoints. Coffee is always good and food items are always fresh! Service is great and the cafe is always clean and fully stocked. The pharmacy that they had in the back of the cafe is no longer there but this is great because the empty space has been converted into more seating. My wife and I went to Cafe RX today for a late breakfast. They have a nice and surprisingly broad menu, including egg sandwiches and Bulgogi. We ordered an egg sandwich, an avocado toast and 2 coffee drinks. The sandwiches were prepared quickly, but were unfortunately both incorrect. They promptly took them back, made new sandwiches, and added an egg to my wife's avocado toast to make up for the incorrect order. The restaurant stepped up and made fresh food without complaint. I will definitely go back again and try their Bulgogi! read more

I don't understand why there's so many negative reviews. Every time I come to Cresskill, I always make sure to stop by here. They have such great coffee and foods - I love that they change out their pastry selection. Always new things to try. Is it more expensive than the average coffee place? Not really. Great place to stop in for a coffee and bite! A bit loud to do WiFi and laptop; a great place to grab lattes with the girls. Space is super airy and very open, with the breeze flowing in and out. Several different seating areas including a bar facing the street. Food selection is great and everything looked super fresh. Everything was made that day! The drinks here are wonderful! It's a great place to stop by and grab some food before a trip somewhere (especially in the summer or lengthy trip) because it's connected to a pharmacy where you can pick up items you may need or have forgotten. They also got little premade meals you can select from. As stated the drinks are great! Sometimes inconsistent though but not enough to complain and ask for another. The food in my opinion is a hit or miss depending what you get. Some is really good and others are okay. That's the only reason I won't give it a 5 star. The place has an open design out towards the street so it's a nice place to sit for your meal. read more

My new favorite go to place for a latte and a quick bite. They also have lunch options such as burgers, sandwiches, and salads. My friend and I split a burger and sandwich but it was average at best. The stumptown coffee and latte made up for it! The layout is a clean and open indoor/outdoor. Very nice touch. read more

Nice place to work and talk with people. Decor pretty good. Expensive for what it is but I come because I can get work done here. Lady who makes the coffee is NOT nice. I come here several times a week. I mistakenly picked up a latte instead of my matcha latte. When I tasted it I realized it was not my drink. I brought it back and the lady was rude and said "Did you drink it" and I said yes that's how I knew it wasn't my drink. And then she got annoyed and said there's an "L" on there for latte. I said I don't know that. And she then proceeded to show me my drink which had Almond Matcha Latte on it as if I was supposed to know how they write all their letters on their cups. Then she was annoyed she had to make the drink over for her other customer. It was an innocent mistake and she didn't have to act so annoyed. Not like I did it on purpose. I never had that at Starbucks they would have just remade the drink without complaining. The other staff are quite nice. The bubble tea is not that great but their other drinks are fine. read more

What a strange cafe Cafe Rx is. It's half cafe, half drug store... not a pharmacy, but specifically an old Korean drug store. Drug Store: Imagine yourself walking into one of the local drug stores along Broad Ave in Palisades Park and/or Leonia. The interior is old, there are no renovations done, and it feels almost like an 80s basement with wood paneling. Here you can find Korean antacids, pain reliving patches, nutritional supplements, band aids, and the like. If you need a prescription for it, they won't have it since it's not a pharmacy. If you're looking for anything new or trending in Korea like hangover pills or cure all's, they won't have it. But they do carry Korean drug store items. Cafe: Its cute. They made the interior feel rustic, and they have large glass windowed walls. It's bright, clean, and modern. They're confident about the food they make in house (pretty good from what I tried - shakshuka with homemade tomato sauce), but they only have certain ways they will brew your coffee, and their iced teas are made in batches earlier in the week, not brewed fresh to your order. When I asked them how long ago their pre packaged fruit had been cut, they employees weren't sure, so it probably gets cut and sits in the display case until it sells. They don't have baked goods they make in house, but if you're OK with that, then cool. Why the owner decided to create this hybrid is strange because they don't really compliment one another, and I would probably never venture into the drug store portion ever again, but the cafe is cute. read more

This place is not managed correctly and completely unorganized, I don't think this pace should have opened. The first thing that I have a huge complaint about is the hours. The business hours on the cafe say that they close at 8:30 pm which is absolute garbage because they close at 8 pm so if you want a drink before they close just know that the hours on the store are completely wrong and opposite from online and you'll be standing outside for a while. My second issue is the menu, the drinks are good but if you happen to like one on the menu it will be gone in a week. this place never keeps there Stuff together and is constantly taking drinks off the menu and not replacing them which is odd for a place that just opened. Food wise I wouldn't come here to eat at all the food is filled with combinations that just don't taste good whatsoever, if you go sometimes you will see small bugs flying in the food containers as well. If you're vegan beware because they aren't very knowledgeable about what you can and can't eat and they don't put all the ingredients on there labels that are made in the kitchen. don't even try asking questions either the workers are obviously managed incorrectly and need more knowledge of food and customer service because some of the workers are super nice but then some of them just shouldn't be working with people. If you want a nice drink with quality coffee I would definitely say come here, but other than that I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Not bitter and too roasted and cup wasn't packed with ice so props there. Clean & cute interior decor with lotsof natural light & windows. There is an actual pharmacy in the back (still setting up as of 5/15/18). They DO take debit/credit cards without a minimum. #ThumbsUp. Will come back with friends. Not huge interior space but can fit about 30 seats or so. The parking is a bit limited during peak hours. read more

Excellent monkey bread but the bubble tea was horrendous. All the tapioca was clumped together in one big glob. Nothing could come thru the straw. Service was also haphazard and disorganized. Took about 10 min between the time we paid for them to begin making our drink -- not because they were busy but because no one knew who's responsibility it was to make the drink ordered. During post-school hours where it can get busy in here, it seems unreasonable to ask the barista to also ring up orders and makes the drinks. Just my two cents. Hopefully, they will improve given that they're only in soft opening now. I will check back and give them more chances. read more

Yes this is a cafe pharmacy. Weird but kinda works and either side doesn't really hurt the other. That being said... the interior of this place is stunning and it's high ceilings is gives you a calm feeling while you enjoy your coffee. Which leads to it being an pretty ok spot for me to stop by to do some work. Coffee is nothing special in my opinion. However nothing bad either it's just ok. Which isn't too a deal breaker for me since I'm more into the interior Give this place a shot if you wanna enjoy a cup of coffee and do some work! read more

PROS: This Asian​ ran place is a nice, chill place to come and hang out with friends. They have free wifi, many places to sit, and couches to relax on. The walls are open so that you can enjoy the fresh air! They have a lot on their menu at reasonable prices. It's​ very convenient that they​ have a store and pharmacy attached to them too. CONS: My girlfriend and I went there and we weren't satisfied​ with their service. The computer was down, they had poor attitudes, and her tea tasted more like water. The parking was very poor as well. OVERALL: This is a cute little place to go and hang out, but there are a few downfalls to it. Great place to stop in for coffee and pastries if you're on the run, or to relax and catch up with friends over lunch or coffee. It's spacious, bright and airy. There's plenty of seating options from cafe tables, communal table, sofa and chairs. There's a pharmacy in the back section. How cool is that?! I tried the green tea bubble tea, which was ok. The bubbles were too firm for my taste and the green tea was powdery toward the end of the drink. The bagel sandwich was pretty tasty with sausage, egg and cheese. Menu items include coffee, tea, smoothies, drinks in the fridge, wrapped sandwiches, pastries, etc. Will be using this as a nice meeting spot. read more

Our friend suggested this place, and we LOVED the food!! Avocado toast and lox avocado were amazing--looked simple but the ingredients were high quality, and the dressing was so delicious.
