Awesome and wonderful place! My friend invited me to grab dinner yesterday. I had the Mahi tacos! Can I say yum yum !! Today we decided to come back for breakfast and I had the Pavones bowl! Again I was amazed and will be back for lunch in a couple of days. P.S. I'm so glad this place is environmentally conscious with the water bottle refill station. Seems like a chill place but it's inside a store called "Waterboyz" which is the main business for the building. The store is great, the coffee shop is great but it doesn't have a coffee shop feel. I don't want to sit and enjoy coffee/study while people walk around me shopping for a surfboard. read more

Ok-I admit I wasn't expecting much when my husband picked this for lunch-it's a cafe in a surf shop-but they serve seriously good 5-star food! I am impressed! I ordered the surfari salad :fresh greens, strawberries, cucumber, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and candied pecans with a delicious "tastes house made" ginger dressing! Excellent! Hubs had the Fiesta De Pollo sandwich; a fresh hoagie bun, chicken (moist, not dry!),spicy mayo, avocado, black beans, salsa, jalapeño and mixed greens-all melted, mingled and toasted in a panini press. Great food. Really good value. We stopped in to buy a new skateboard and had the lunch special for Taco Tuesday. Three mahi mahi tacos for $8.95. They tasted great and had huge pieces of fish on each taco. Probably one of the best fish tacos I've ever had and I'm from fish taco country in SoCal-AZ. My husband and I absolutely love Waterboyz and visit every time we go to Pensacola, so we were surprised when we visited it and found out that they added a cafe. We were eager to try it and I was expecting basic food since it's primarily a surf and skate shop.. but the food absolutely blew us away. I ordered the "tidal turkey" and it was by far the best turkey sandwich of my life. And they have all kinds of different and rare sodas. I'm determined to order a different one every time I go. I have now eaten there three times and I live a good 45 minutes away. I took my 5 year old niece with me to eat there and she thought it was the coolest place she'd ever been. She is a super picky eater and she absolutely loved it, so much so that we have discussed building a house on both sides of the building so that we can eat there every day and be neighbors. Words can't describe how amazing the food is, you seriously have to try it. It will change your life. read more

The food here is amazing. Chef Griff knows her way around the kitchen, for sure. The menu is a great treat for someone trying to eat on the more health conscious side and still get plenty of food and not still feel hungry after eating. They serve the best coffee (in my opinion) Keens Beans, have craft sodas that do not include high fructose corn syrup (which is good), and also have a triple filtered water filling station you can fill your water bottle up at. All of this, and the convenience of being in the best surf shop in town with an indoor skate park. I highly suggest checking them out and I'm pretty sure, if you do, you'll be back and bring friends. read more
