Went for a sandwich and some tacs the other day. The impossible tacos were surprisingly the best thing we ordered. Mahi tacos were bland and needed some sort of sauce. Black beans on the tacos had no flavor. I got a sandwich with avocado and chicken... no mayo, mustard, ranch, vinaigrette, or anything. The bread was good, but I don't like dry food. Maybe a lot of people do because this place gets great reviews... I think next time I'll go to one of the great food trucks around town for tacos or make my own sandwich. Not bad, but definitely not worth the price. read more

I didn't know what to expect being that it is in a surf/ skate shop, and happily found that it is fantastic. There are only a few places in the area that have acai bowls, and Single Fin's are awesome. We had delicious Mahi Tacos too. Definitely recommend this hidden gem. read more

Okay this place is quirky as all get out, but damn the food and service are amazing to say the least. Did breakfast there a couple days ago. Awesome omelette and sides with super service from start to finish. Stop in buy something great to eat and maybe throw in a surf or skateboard! read more

The food was very tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. On this points I would have to recommend this establishment. What I didn't like was the slow and inattentive service. This is an order at the front and sit down and wait type establishment. One person taking orders really bottle necks, even on a slow day. After ordering with a group we sat down and I went to the bar to order a drink separate but I guess they don't take orders at the bar and it is just additional seating. Not a single employee took my order for several minutes, so that's all I can assume. I then got back in line to order a drink but gave up and went without because the groups in front of me were deciding what they wanted while holding up the line. I got the feeling the employees are not directed to take orders at the bar so I don't really blame any employee so much as the overall set up. Seems like some easy fixes for MGMT. Waiting behind people ordering food to get a beverage is just annoying. read more

At Cafe Single Fin, most of the ingredients in the smoothies, juices, açaí bowls, nut milks, and coffees are organic. I ordered the Kona Açaí Cup and substituted avocado for the yogurt, making it an all organic acai bowl. The açaí was flavorful with a creamy texture. At a first glance I was not expecting a cafe to be inside of a surf/skate shop but it was a fun and laid back vibe. Everything was decently priced. My favorite part of the menu is that they serve breakfast all day! Can't beat that. The food was served quickly, tasted amazing, and everyone working there was so friendly. My friend and I are in Pensacola for the long weekend and we will definitely be back to visit again before we leave. read more

Came to Waterboyz to get my son a board and was surprised with a restaurant too. The food was amazing wife got the fish tacos and they tasted great and I got a sandwich the best I've had in awhile. This quaint restaurant is tucked away inside of Waterboyz a skate and surf shop. However it's open during business hours and has a great selection of menu items. There are daily specials and I had a hard time choosing what to get. Eventually I decided on the hummus and pita for an appetizer and then the Tidal Turkey sandwich and added avocado. The turkey sandwich was so good and had a balsamic glaze, goat cheese and basil spread. I was ultimately impressed by the quality and level of taste!! I will definitely be returning and can't wait to try all of the other delicious sounding menu items. read more

We come here from New Orleans often and love the vibe of this place. Always looking for good vegan but man they seem to miss the boat on this one. Any good vegan breakfast should have a good vegan butter option like earth balance, miyokos, forager. Literally so many brands, same goes with vegan cheese. They had daiya (sometimes) not the best. They offered me hydrogenated margarine, for real? If they are gonna compete with End of the line they need some help in the vegan department. Going back to End of the line till they can improve things a bit more. read more

When can you go to a skate shop and a cafe at the same time? When you're at Single Fin Cafe. What an awesome concept. Come in, buy a skateboard with your coffee and sandwich then hit the indoor skate park in the back. The staff is friendly and the wifi is fast. The atmosphere and vibe were on point, very cute little cafe inside of a surf shop. Amazing fresh smoothies, craft beers, good breakfast. Very slow service so don't come here in a rush. You order your food at the counter and sit down at the bar area or a table, but it took 45 minutes after ordering to get our breakfast. Spend 24 bucks on two meals and a smoothies. Found this gem on Yelp! We were 4 people, & had the the French toast, breakfast classic, Costa wrap, & the Pavones bowl. The classic was ok, but the others were excellent! Today around lunch time, some friends and I had lunch at Cafe Single Fin. I've been before and enjoyed my visit that time as well as today. I chose the Mahi-Mahi Fish Tacos and decided to go with 3 instead of 2 for my portion, for I was hungry. It was a nice day so we decided to sit outside. The fish was well seasoned and the other toppings were also tasty. The cup of iced coffee I had before my tacos was good as well. Can't say enough good things about this beach gem. We pre-ordered a slew of breakfast burritos for our boat ride to the Blues practice show on Friday and needed them ready to go soon after they opened. The food was ready as promised, included the thoughtful extras such as napkins, plates, etc and so healthy and delicious! The staff here is beyond friendly and helpful. How awesome to also be able to grab sunblock, hats, flops, anything you forgot for the beach, at the same time! Picture this: A brunch place in a skate shop that has live music and an incredible soundtrack. On top of that the food is really good and the beer selection is varied and impressive.
