Locally black-owned, all day menu spot in Mableton. I love places that serve breakfast all day, so I knew I wanted to try it. It's a plus that it's up the street from my sister's house. We had a short wait of less than 10 minutes for our table, despite two large parties inside. It's small and quaint but inside is beautifully decorated in soft grey. One of the most comfortable booths I've sat in for a food service. My first review from several months ago didn't post until I came back today. And it was incomplete. I remember the last time I got the French toast meal but today I got the salmon croquettes meal. I got the grits, toast and scrambled eggs with it. This was a lot of food! And everything tasted great! The toast was grilled to perfection on both sides and it was so buttery. The eggs (which were real) were scrambled just right to my liking and the grits were good. I didn't have to season a thing. By the time I dug into the croquettes I was full. But I wanted to taste them while they were still hot. They were good so of course I took them home to really dig into them later. This place is reasonably price considered the portion sizes. I'm adding it to my list of places to visit when I come to Atlanta.

Been meaning to try this place since we moved in down the street. Ended up running in for takeout on a Saturday morning. Plenty of friendly folks greeted me when I arrived. Ordering was easy, but deciding what I wanted wasn't, lots of good options. My wife ended up with the omelette sans cheese but added tri-colored peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. She said it was great. I got the Brioche French Toast. It came with thick bacon and a couple of eggs. Eggs were over easy and they went just a touch to over-medium but they were still good. The French Toast was excellent. It came with thinly sliced strawberries and a few blueberries. I ate my wife's Texan toast slice, which I am not sure how a piece of toast could be so good, I could have eaten half a dozen slices. I also got an excellent side of cheese grits. I look forward to eating here again and can't wait to do so in person. It is a cozy little bistro.

Cafe social house it consistent. There is no RSVP so if you come Saturday or Sunday be ready to wait. The bar staff is attentive, the food and music are good and it's overall a good vibe.

Absolutely amazing food and service!! This place is a true gem. We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived and seated promptly. The server offered us a variety of options when we asked her for recommendations. We ordered a couple of the dishes she recommended and were not disappointed! Food arrived relatively quick and was plated beautifully. The portions were generous and every dish was scrumptious. The server was very attentive and checked on us continuously, making sure to refill drinks and see if we needed anything further. The restaurant is decorated nice, well lit and very clean. This is definitely a place I would love to go back to!!

I got the vegan French toast platter. It was so so flavorful. Well seasoned but not over seasoned. I feel like I haven't had vegan French toast in SO LONG. Felt so amazing to see a full page dedicated to vegan options. It was a little expensive but other than that I have no complaints.

Ok, the lady and the door asked us to sit for a menu so they could ensure the tables were truly clean for us - much appreciated, but we like to sit at the bar. Great decision. Kia was amazing - took time to go through the menu with us. We got the salmon omelette, wings and french toast, and Gouda mac & cheese. Baby it was hitting like Tyson. She moved us through dranks which.... were strong. I like a drink to hold me... And was not disappointed. We'll be back... Despite the drive from L'ville. Sit with Kia - she'll get you right.

This place does not know if it's a breakfast place or a bar. Currently not doing well at either. While the food is "made to order", almost an hour is ridiculous. Especially when you have a two hour limit for guests.

Stopped by Cafe Social House with a coworker for a quick bite to eat. We sat outside on the patio because the weather was nice but we didn't think about the flies that would accompany us. I was pretty hungry so I ordered a side of breakfast potatoes with cheese, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. They charge an additional $1 for each item added. I also had the French toast platter that came with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage (the spinach and tomatoes were an additional $1). For the drink we had strawberry mimosas, which were pretty good. Overall, the food was good and parking was easy. Our server Tameshia did a good job of checking in on us. My coworker and I both agreed that we liked the food and service, but we wish they offered more specials.

Loved everything about this place! We visited on a Thursday around 11am and had no wait. Love the diverse menu, offering just about anything you can think up for brunch, including yummy plant-based options and staples. There's a diverse salad menu and heavier entrees to choose from as well. Very nice decor and I love going anywhere in Atlanta where I don't have to worry about parking. The food was so tasty that I ordered some wings to go and our server recommended her favorite, hot wings with agave! They were sooo perfect! We'll be back many more times!

The food was really good, customer service was great from the beginning just entering the restaurant. The waitress checked on us and answered any questions we had , it was our first time. Ambiance was nice , nice decor and clean.

Great spot! Loved the food! Loved the cocktails! Loved the service. I was greeted with a smile upon entering and being seated. I ordered a simple Sidecar cocktail that was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the bartender! Prior to ordering food, I watched the servers bring out a chicken and waffles dish, shrimp and grits and then saw a picture of their lamb chops. Everything looked amazing! I opted for the chicken and waffles and was truly delighted. I will go back again for the shrimpnand grits and lamb chops. This is a black-owned restaurant in Mableton, GA that I am happy to support anytime I am in the area.

If you're unfamiliar, the restaurant serves a standard, pre-fixe menu of bread , a salad, frites, and steak. This is where things fell flat for me. The bread is a hard loaf in a paper bag. Maybe an ode to traditional serving, but no one offered to cut the bread nor were we provided a bread knife... my dining mate didn't want to work that hard to get any bread... inconvenient and wasted. The salad... I wasn't at all a fan of the dressing. It was very vinegary and pungent... not at all balanced. The frites were cooked to pure perfection; however, they lacked seasoning. The steak... this is where I was totally disappointed. While the steak was cooked to the right temperature (medium rare), it was sooooooo chewy, no marble... I found myself spitting out tough parts. Maybe Whole Foods' grass fed ribeyes have me spoiled, but this wasn't at all what I would expect of a restaurant that specializes in steak. My beverages (tequila daisy and traditional margarita) were uneventful. I also didn't feel they were balanced. The customer service was excellent. They create a warm and welcoming environment... this is a very romantic venue. Maybe come, enjoy the frites and a cocktail and stare into your lover's eyes

The food itself was excellent. The menu is basically set, so you'd hope they do it well, and they do! Bread was great, salad solid, fries were the best I've ever had, and steak rich and delicious. Steak can be cooked to each person's preferred temperature which is also nice. It's definitely got a nicer atmosphere, good for a date night or celebration, and I would definitely come back.

The place is nice inside but not as intimate as I was expecting for a speakeasy. It's a fairly casual vibe inside with a bar and some seating around the sides. I really enjoyed the cocktails. They're light but really well balanced in their flavors. We had called ahead of time and were told the place closed at 10 PM but at 9:30, they already turned on the lights and were getting people to leave. We felt rushed out of there which wasn't fun especially since we called ahead. Also, there were fruit flies all over the place and in our faces. The entire time, we were fighting off the fruit flies which really dulled the experience. There was 10+ so it was very annoying. Hopefully they can fix that problem and it will make for a more enjoyable experience.

The food was excellent, the drinks were on point, and our waitress did an awesome job handling such a large party. She stayed on top of everything and made sure we were taken care of all night. After dinner, we decided to check out the speakeasy through the freezer door--Eleanor's--and unfortunately, that's where the experience took a turn. The atmosphere itself was nice--semi-dark with a cool concept--but it could definitely lean more into a darker, more immersive speakeasy vibe. The bigger issue, though, was the service. It was night and day compared to upstairs. The waitress came across as rude and unwelcoming from the start. A few of us sat down in a small corner area with an L-shaped bench and some extra chairs we had to pull over ourselves. Obviously, with 12 people, there was no way we were all fitting there, yet she insisted she wouldn't take any drink orders until everyone was seated. That made no sense, especially since there was standing room and even a bar-height table available. To make matters worse, there was zero acknowledgment of the birthday--not even a simple "happy birthday," which felt like a missed opportunity given the occasion. When we asked about Fireball shots, the response was a blunt "um, no," followed by "you can have water," as she started filling glasses. That pretty much summed up the vibe we got. Not sure if this is typical service down there or just an off night, but it was enough to make us decide we wouldn't come back to the speakeasy. Bottom line: If you're in the area, definitely check out Muss & Turner's for dinner--it's worth it. But I'd skip Eleanor's and save your time and money.
