This cafe is so cute! A good amount of seating (although it was very busy so seats filled up) even with some outdoor seating (not overlooking the water, though). Loved the tables inside near the window which overlooked the bay. Also, the wall art was very st Pete vibes. The service was so friendly, the women at the front were very kind and bubbly. Even though there was a long line, we got through quickly without feeling rushed. The matcha was super yummy! We got the bacon quiche and the bacon egg and cheese croissant, my only feedback is that we got our food to-go and they didn't put utensils in the bag and I didn't see any out; not the end of the world though. The bacon quiche was DELICIOUS and much bigger than expected, it also came with side salad or watermelon, and the watermelon was just what I needed. The croissant sandwich was also very yummy!

We were driving through the area and needed a snack so we yelped local businesses in the area and thank goodness we did! Café Soleil is an incredibly special business. This is a little gem tucked away in a beautifully decorated restaurant and the staff is so friendly and welcoming.. Now on to the food & oh my gosh, beautiful fresh croissants and a tiramisu donut are you kidding? Highly recommend this place is top-notch phenomenal.

Cafe Soleil French bakery is a great little spot for a breakfast in St. Pete Beach. This spot was located in the back of a plaza just across from our hotel, a 5-minute walk. Cafe Soleil offers breakfast and lunch. Salads, quiches and simple sandwiches make up the lunch fare. Breakfast is toasted croissant sandwiches and pastries. My wife and I both had the egg, sausage and muenster on a croissant. Coffee to drink. Their pastry display is next level. Beautifully laid out and each item looking better than the next. My wife ordered the chocolate hazelnut plait and I had the apple turnover. Our food was out pretty quick. They serve Kahwa Coffee, a local roastery. The sandwiches were really good. Melty muenster cheese layered in with sausage crumbles and eggs. Cooked in a press, the croissant was thin, crispy and flaky with that buttery soft texture you would expect. Not too much food, just enough. A small slice of watermelon on the side for a sweet bite. The pastries were excellent. Freshly made, bursting with flavor. The Nutella like filling in the plait was ample and melded with the buttery, flaky dough. The turnover was filled with sweet, small apple chunks that were dusted with cinnamon. The staff behind the counter was super friendly and welcoming. They said hello and goodbye to everyone coming and going. We initially forgot to order my drip house coffee and when I mentioned I wanted one, it was offered on the house. They offered my daughter stickers and treated her like a star too. We'd go back here again and if you're ever in the area, you should go here too.

I had the Claude and it was so good, I ate it all! I usually take half of my meal home, but I could not stop eating. It was fresh mozzarella and salty prosciutto with arugula and pesto on a chewy french roll. So delicious. For dessert I had the cherry plait. The pastry was crispy and delicate, the filling was tart and creamy. I would have eaten it all, but we had to go so I asked for a bag and happily finished it when I got back home.

Lovely French inspired coffee shop in SPB with delightful espressos, coffees and a decadent array of pastries filled with your favorite sweets or savory treats. The cafe is open, airy, bright and offers peaceful views of the Boca Ciega offering a cozy and peaceful retreat that soothes the senses and the soul. They also offer an abundance of al fresco seating including under a delightful white gauze canopy that makes me feel like I'm at a breakfast soiree at Downtown Abbey. My toasted Nutella and banana croissant was scrumptious- flaky, warm, and delightfully decadent and it paired excellently with the locally brewed Kahwa iced coffee. Most intriguing to me was their champagne, watermelon, pineapple, and chipotle mimosa special - I am a non-drinker but the temptation was high for this one, maybe next time. Friendly service, counter ordering that they deliver to your table. C'est magnifique Cafe Soleil!

I visited Cafe Soleil today which is right on the water in a beautiful location. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the employees are from the second you walk in. I ordered a caramel iced latte and a chocolate hazelnut palet which is similar to a croissant. It was delicious, I highly recommend ordering this! The coffee was good too. They had many tables with many people getting work done. I recommend it if you're in the Saint Pete area.

A lovely St Pete Beach gem. Bakery-restaurant-shop all in one, you can pick up an inexpensive coffee or stay for lunch. I tried the Colette, a brie, tomato, pesto, and dried tomato sandwich served on an authentic baguette: delicious! Take a seat at the window and spend a peaceful moment escaping from the usual consumerism of nearby tourist hotspots. My service was sunny and pleased to help a newcomer. A little harder to see, as you must go to the back of the strip mall, but well worth it. Will return.

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading to Ft DeSoto. I chose the sausage egg Muenster croissant , hazelnut chocolate plait and cappuccino. I didn't know they would flatten the heck out my breakfast sandwich and it could have used some salt in the eggs but other than that, I'd come again. Nice ambience and we need to support non corporate food establishments.

In the corner of a shopping strip, but kinda quaint. Can see the harbor from the side of the cafe. The aroma of the fresh croissants fill the air upon entry. The gentleman that helped us has a faint French accent & it adds to the ambiance of the cafe. Very cool place to visit! Yummy croissant sandwiches for lunch, chocolate croissant for dessert and iced coffee to drink! read more

We were not impressed after reading all the amazing comments about the food. I got the egg and grilled veggies breakfast sandwich and it was good but needed spices and my husband got the egg, bacon and cheese sandwich and there was very little bacon and flavorless. read more

I'm a little disappointed but my man liked it . 3 stars would probably be more accurate but I can see how operating in light of covid is more challenging. Their indoor sitting is closed, but there are a few tables outside. You kinda sit yourself but it's a little confusing. I've seen a few people, including us, attempt to enter a closed dining room. I ordered a latte and Brie croissant. Latte was meh. Tasted watered down. Croissant was ok. My man liked his egg and bacon croissant. Service was unenthusiastic but not bad. I didn't see them disinfecting tables after people left, but maybe they did it when I didn't look. Overall I'd give them another chance, given all the great reviews, but I'm not burning to come back anytime soon. read more

Ok, so our rule when we travel is not to go to the same restaurant twice. We want to try as many new places as we can. Lauren made that impossible. We have been in 3 times in 5 days. Her bright and outwardly friendly personality is hard to miss and it comes through her staff as well as her food. If you are any where close or not it is more than worth the visit. Our favorite, and it was hard to pick was the crescent sandwich or maybe the almond pastry ....... read more

We really enjoyed our breakfast sandwich and fig, walnut, and arugula croissant sandwich. The coffee was good, but oddly they don't offer fresh milk or half and half. There are only those non refrigerated creamers. I will not use those and think it's odd that they offer those with their better quality coffee. read more

I went here with high expectations from what I've read in the local papers and online. However I did not find the food to be that exciting, not that it was bad just not what I was expecting I guess. Pricey for the serving size on sandwiches. The furniture is a mix match and not comfortable. Take away possibly if I return. read more

I am from out of town and was looking for a place close to our resort that had a great cup of coffee. Was very pleasantly surprised. The women behind the counter were so and helpful and so friendly. The coffee, croissant and desserts were amazing. I saw the quiche come out as i was leaving and definitely would have gotten that. It looked delicious also. They said it's a family recipe from France. Wish it wasn't our last day. We would have come here every morning just to try everything. read more

Came everyday on our weekend trip. Every pastry was delicious, but my favorite was the guava and cheese and my husband's was the almond croissant. We also enjoyed the coffee and lattes, both hot and iced. Cute little spot with outdoor seating. Pleasant staff. read more

The sandwiches are minuscule and have a ton of bread compared to sandwich ingredients! I had a chicken, zucchini (who puts zucchini on a sandwich anyhow). Anyhow, I ordered ir and this was a major disappointment. There was probably a couple tablespoons of chicken on 1/2 of what I ate. My husband had procuitto and hi was pretty much the same. So I'd recommend ordering cafe and croissants here. read more

This cafe is such a gem! I've tried the banana Nutella toasted croissant and one of the breakfast croissants and they were both incredible, but the banana Nutella is actually to die for. Also had the mocha latte which was fantastic. The owners and workers were so nice and helpful I just wanted to get on Yelp and contribute to their five-star rating. They deserve it! read more

A charming cafe in a strip center right on the water. The staff are fabulous and the pastries are worth the money. Get there before 9am or all the cronuts will be gone . The veggie quiche was delicious and comes with a small side salad with a tangy vinaigrette. No microwaves used here so expect a 10 minutes wait for warm food. House coffee was fine but they could use cream at the coffee bar vs coffee mate but this is a bakery cafe not a coffee bar. Bon appetit! read more

Haha funny reply from the owner but the point was that you had a total of only 15-20 things left to sell at 9am, not a variety - the display cases looked empty. In a bakery. At 9am. With a line of people ahead of me. Assuming that traffic you'd have been sold out by 9:15. Maybe it was just a lull in restocking - but we were disappointed and assumed not and so we went elsewhere. read more

Absolutely LOVED this small little piece of France. My husband and I went for breakfast, I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a toasted Croissant made to order of scrambled eggs, ham and Swiss cheese. My husband ordered tea and a toasted croissant of tomato, pesto and mozzarella. When we sat down we realized the gentleman had not charged us the hot chocolate so my husband got up to pay for it, and the gentleman would not have it. He said it was his mistake and would not hear of it. I mean how lovely was that!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was delicious, the croissants tasty and warm and the hot chocolate was great too. When we left we bough a chocolate croissant and an apple pastry which we ate later that afternoon with an afternoon coffee and both pastries were fresh and so good. I have always felt that even though we say as American as apple pie, we tend to put way to much cinnamon on our apple baked goods. The French is just simple, the natural sweetness of the apple. I hate travelling somewhere, then having to pick up some quick breakfast at somewhere basic like Micky D's or BK. Luckily, with Cafe Soleil there is no need for that. Service is quick, and staff is much friendlier. While everything from their bakery looks wonderful, I highly recommend their nutella croissant. It has the sweetness of nutella, and cut up pieces of banana. It's a breakfast dessert and you can't go wrong! I would like to think its nutritious but we all know nutella is pretty much chocolate. Either way, indulge yourself for just one meal and you will truly enjoy it. read more

We absolutely love Cafe Soleil. It's in an unassuming strip mall next to a CVS but the quiche recipes are her Parisian grandmothers and the rest of the menu is good as well. We went twice while in vacation and when Madeira beach years later with my parents we made the drive over and they loved it to. 8 thumbs up from us. read more

The Cruffin was loaded with the ducle de leche it was so good!! The coffee was very smooth. The market is almost always busy, so go right when they open or later in the afternoon on weekdays or you'll be standing shoulder to shoulder and wait 15 to 30 minutes, but honestly that time is perfect for browsing everything! My go to orders are the Mortadella Pistachio and the Fig & Pig. They are $12 each, and yes a bit pricey but the freshness and quality make it worth it.

I stopped in for "just a coffee" and somehow left with: a California Egg & Cheese on ciabatta, a spinach-feta croissant, hash browns, and enough caffeine to hear colors. First off, whoever created the Breakfast Club sandwich deserves their own holiday. Egg, turkey, bacon, American cheese, tomato on buttered sourdough?? That's not breakfast. That's therapy with a pickle spear. And the California Egg & Cheese with guacamole? Absolutely disrespectful. I took one bite and immediately started nodding like I understood cryptocurrency. Then came the Mozzarella Basil Avocado Toast, which sounds like something a yoga instructor orders after saying "I'm really trying to stay balanced lately." Meanwhile I added bacon because balance is important. Also... the menu saying breakfast is served all day is one of the most emotionally supportive things I've seen in years. Nothing heals a rough afternoon quite like ordering eggs at 2:47 PM while pretending your life is together. The coffee? Dangerous. I now understand why the place is called Addicted to the Bean because after one iced coffee I suddenly: answered emails, cleaned my car, forgave my enemies, and briefly considered running for public office. The vibes are immaculate too. Chill local coffee shop energy where everyone either: 1. works remotely, 2. owns a golden retriever, or 3. just came in for a bagel and accidentally stayed two hours. Shoutout to the cranberry pecan chicken salad too. Whoever decided chicken salad needed cranberries and pecans was clearly operating on a higher intellectual plane than the rest of us. And the prices?? In this economy?? I was expecting the avocado toast alone to require a small down payment. Final thoughts: If you live on Isla and haven't been here yet, what are you even doing? This place has: elite breakfast sandwiches, solid lunch options, fresh pastries, coffee strong enough to restart your ancestry, and enough cozy energy to make you briefly believe you could become "a morning person." 10/10. I came for caffeine and left spiritually rebuilt.

There were three different types of oysters we got, the Tampa bay oyster were definitely the most salty if that's what you prefer! There were three different sauces to use--a Bloody Mary cocktail sauce, old bay sauce (my personal favorite), and a mist you can spritz on. The crab fries had a good amount of crab, seasoning, and sauce. Never a bland bite. The star of the show was the lobster roll not pictured though. Perfectly buttery and cooked, with a good portion of lobster. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is boat themed and clean and cute. We will definitely be back when looking for a good brunch near the beach.
