The café has a beautiful teal-and-gold interior, plenty of indoor seating, and a spacious open patio. Everything was clean and well maintained, including the restroom. One of the most unique features is their latte-printing robot, Tom, who can print custom designs directly on top of your drink! They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of entrées, drinks, pastries, and desserts. The portions are huge, so come hungry! I tried the mango matcha latte and honey lavender latte. Both were on the sweeter side, but still refreshing and perfect for summer. It was also my first time trying chilaquiles, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but they were flavorful and came in a very generous portion. I also enjoyed the steak and eggs--the steak was especially delicious. The Mediterranean salad was a fresh and healthy option with lots of different ingredients. For dessert, we tried the Sunshine mango mousse and berry cheesecake. Overall, One Twelve Caffe has a fun atmosphere, an impressive menu, generous portions, and plenty of cute photo opportunities. I'd definitely visit again!

You can tell there is so much culture and thought behind the space. The coffee selection is great, and the staff made the experience feel even more welcoming. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee, relax, study, or simply spend some quiet time. Definitely a hidden gem and a place I'll be coming back to!

There's a lot I want to say about this spot but I'm a try and keep it short lol…read more My first time visiting was this past Sunday, May 31st. I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. If you're passing thru the area or coming to the city, do yourself a favor and pull up. Check em' out. Grab you a coffee or something. Prices are reasonable and the community is welcoming to all individuals.

If your kitchen closes at 2:00, that needs to be clearly communicated to customers. People check business hours before making the trip specifically so they know whether a place is open and serving. Advertising that you're open until 4:00 without disclosing that the kitchen stops serving at 2:00 sets customers up for an unnecessary and frustrating experience. I completely understand having separate kitchen and café hours. What I don't understand is failing to communicate them. A simple update to the website and a sign at the café would prevent this entirely. Unfortunately, I came here expecting to have lunch based on the hours they advertise and left extremely disappointed. Please clearly post your kitchen hours so other customers don't waste their time.

We came here around 3 PM on a Thursday to get some work done and our afternoon caffeine re-dose. Service was great! I got the cookie butter matcha and I didn't know this was a combination I needed in my life. I think they pair very well together because matcha and cookie butter are kind of nutty in flavor profile. It's perfectly balanced too. I would get this again for sure, that says a lot cause I'm the type that likes to always try something new. They had some donuts and pastries but we didn't try it. I took a sip of the cookie butter latte my girlfriend got and that was delightful too. They have a parking lot for easy free parking. I love the all black and wood interior. They have outlets pretty accessible anywhere you sit. The WiFi was fast enough for me to work fine. There are not too many tables in here but at the time we came, that wasn't an issue. So if you are looking to escape the heat grab a coffee and snack and chill awhile! The staff is sooooo friendly! I'm 99% sure this is family owned and by the looks of it all female owned as well. They take the name to pa'dekwa seriously cuz I felt very very welcomed! Now the coffee! I got the collagen crush!!! And DANG! That drink is super tasty especially knowing there is healthy benefits from it. I took the suggestion from the lady at the register and added a touch of hazelnut to make that "Nutella" flavor (THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION) Overall I WILL be back! When I'm treating myself to coffee solo or with friends this will be my top spot! I can't wait to "catch" their FISH FRY!! (They try at least once a month)

Not everyone should sell coffee…read more I am new to this location and wanted to try a new coffee shop which I assume the coffee was going to be good by the ratings that they have by 4.8. So I stopped by to get an ice Americano. The vibe of the coffee shop is very nice. Open layout study rooms perfect if you want to study or if you're going to meet up with friends. The other thing is the barista was very friendly and inviting. I should have known when I asked her if they had ice coffee, she said yes and responded with we can make you an ice Americano, which it's not the same. However, I decided to order an ice Americano. The other thing is I ordered a turkey sandwich which was very good and had a lot of favor. By the time, when my order comes out, I take it to my car and start drinking it, I started sipping my coffee, not realizing that I had coffee grounds inside, I was already late to work, so I did not want to go back or to make any fuss about it. Which couple hours later I just wanted to call the store to ask them if they can remake it or if there's anything that can do, they do not say anything about that and not acknowledge that my coffee was pretty much coffee grounds, and water. Which I was very sympathetic and told them I don't know if they calibrated the machine in the morning because I can in the morning. At the end of the story, she said thank you for letting us that our machine is not calibrated and she said goodbye. I really like this place I like the vibe I like the small family Business own. but if I'm gonna receive a terrible coffee order with a side of terrible customer service it's not worth driving here. At this point, I would rather just go to Starbucks and save myself a couple dollars. I am tired of small little businesses, not taking time and effort to really understand how to make a good cup of coffee. And they be charging a leg and an arm for it. Now that I'm reading the reviews, nobody talks about the coffee here. they talk about the environment and the food, which I do agree the food and the environment is very nice.
