Very cute and comfy inside. I came to enjoy a coffee and work away from office today~ this place had plenty of food options, but today I went for the coffee for the strength to work through my day with energy ~ I ordered the coffee buzz latter~ i enjoy sweet, but this coffee was too much, even for me. Wish I had extra milk to lesson the cavities I was feeling~ I need to come back and try out the sandwiches since there was so much options and I just wasn't hungry. I will probably skip on coffee. Went here on a sunday for some coffee and it was pretty busy inside, though the line moved fairly quickly! I got one of their limited time lattes (gingerbread latte), which had nice kick of ginger that wasn't too overpowering! Oh White Electric - I will always love you. That being said, I find myself visiting you less & less because your coffee drinks are nearing the craft cocktail price range. Great little coffee shop on the west side of Providence. Being that I work around the corner, I'm here several times a week and have always had a great experience. Coffee is always on point and STRONG and the food is great. The caramello (iced) latte is my usual go to and I also really love their Delox sandwich, which is always piled high with lox and cream cheese. The staff is super nice and quick even when it's really busy, which it often is in the a.m. And to top it all off, it is worker owned and run so not only are you supporting an awesome local business you are directly supporting the hard working folks here. This was our first time at White Electric after receiving a recommendation from a friend. This cafe has a really quirky design with a lot of artwork from my childhood (80's/90's). This shop does seem a little congested, so I wouldn't recommend it for working remotely, although you could if you don't get easily distracted. I got the ice matcha latte with a pump of vanilla. The matcha was perfectly sweetened, had an earthy flavor, and was granular. My wife got the iced caramel latte beverage with brown sugar and she said it was amaaaaazing. Cute local coffee shop. They always have seasonal drinks and an array of sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch). They have a few baked goods like croissants and cinnamon rolls but the main attraction is the wide selection of speciality coffees. I got a chai which was excellent, and my friends got an iced latte and a lavender iced latte. Both lattes were excellent! The interior is really cute and there's a ton of eclectic art along one wall of art from a Binch Press/ Queer Archive Work (a cooperative print and publishing studio) that you can purchase. The interior is somewhat small, there's about about a dozen tables so it might be difficult to find a table and there's usually a small line, but it's well worth the wait! read more

Cute little shop that seems to be popular with the laptop crowd. Every seat inside seemed to be taken up by people typing away. Luckily there was NO ONE enjoying the beautiful weather while they enjoyed their coffee, so I had a place to sit and enjoy a late breakfast. What a cute little gem! The space overall is pretty small, but there are at least 10 tables where you can sit at. The staff is really sweet and the music is great! Coffee is perfectly made. The food could be better. My bagel egg and cheese was pretty dry. There was more bread than anything. It does come with an aïoli, but I didn't really enjoy that. It kind of taste like a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. It was quite sweet, not the Sriracha flavor I was expecting. food issues aside, this was a great experience. I was able to bring my laptop and get work done with no issues with their Wi-Fi. Parking on the street is pretty easy depending on what time you come. I would suggest coming early if you're hoping to sit inside because it does get super crowded. Definitely a great spot to get some work done if you don't mind the noise and commotion of a busy coffee shop. would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite, some great coffee (try the white lightning), and a nice atmosphere. Came across this place while walking back to our hotel visiting for a quick weekend in Providence.They had an extensive drink menu with lots of specialty ones. I decided to try just a reg iced coffee with hazelnut. This was one of the very best I've had! The flavor wasn't strong and didn't taste artificial. Service was really great even though it was super busy. My salad cost $14 but it was huge and filling! All the veggies were fresh , crisp and had a great taste. The balsamic vinegar dressing was really good and made everything in the salad taste better ! Delicious coffee...the large is enormous if that's your jam. We finally caved and tried banana coffee because they offered a banana foster version using real puree. It was amazing. This place was super busy and there isn't much room inside, but our order came out fast. The person who rang us up took time to help make sure my order was what I wanted...I could tell they really knew what they were talking about with understanding how the flavors would interact, which is always a good sign. New fav coffee shop, I'm just sad it's 1,000 away from where I actually live. It's a true locals shop. I went on a Saturday morning and the line was 10 people deep the whole time I was there. People sat at the tables and worked or studied. Other read books or the newspaper and relaxed. The chai came from a mix, and it was very lightly sweetened - which was perfect in my opinion because you get to control if you add more sweetener or keep it a lighter flavor. I chose to keep it how it was, and I liked it! My friends got iced coffee and the cereal killa, which reminded him of Taro. The community that donated the funding that made the co-op possible has been thanked with outrageous price gouging. During my last visit there was a woman behind the register preparing coffee and food. She was wearing a tank top and her armpit hair was exposed. I'm not sure if OSHA's policies about hair restraints include armpit hair... and it really doesn't matter if it was a man or woman... but : If it's too hot in the kitchen- provide your employees with an a.c. or a fan. Tank tops shouldn't be part of a uniform for food service workers. The last thing anybody wants is to pull an armpit, head or beard hair out of their coffee or cream-cheesed bagel. My other complaint is that there is ONE TOASTER OVEN. The line is always out the door. More times than not, this establishment loses my business when I see how long the line is. Why is there only ONE person toasting bagels and why is there only ONE toaster. The majority of your profits come from coffees and bagels (I'm assuming ). So why not have a toaster oven that toasts more than one bagel at a time? What a shame if Dunkin only had one coffee machine or McDonald's only had one line cook. People would complain! I asked for a bagel with cream cheese added bacon to it. First, the layer of cream cheese is ridiculously thin. Second, the fact that it costs $4 to add bacon to a sandwich and give me less than 4 slices total is crazy. This sandwich costs a total of almost $9 (like I said, normally it's worth every penny) I can admit, it was my mistake for not checking it while I was there - but also how would you even ask "can you add more to this sandwich like someone else has in the past so it's actually worth $9?" The only thing that sucks is that they close at 6:30 which feels pretty early to me. The drink selection is pretty basic. Pretty simple coffee and tea selection. BUT! This coffeeshop is busy every week day morning. The line is literally almost out the door. Hard to find a seat because people love to sit there for hours doing work. Atmosphere is cute and hipster-like. Coffee is good. They give you drinks without the caps so you're able to add whatever you like to it on the side. Their bagels are also delicious. I always get avocado and cream cheese or lox, cream cheese, and red onion. They use fresh lox instead of the spread which is a plus. I love their chais -- whether they're dirty, hot, or iced.
