This was the only place where you could find white meat trout in Park City. Now, it has been pink or salmon-trout the past couple of times. and we specifically requested and were assured of the white variety--only for one of us to be served the pink. Quaint dinner spot on Main Street. We sat outside on a Friday evening in July (seated right away at 6pm, too). Service was great. Water stayed full, drinks and food came out quickly. All front of house staff very kind. 4 stars instead of 5 for price. Understandably so, the area is pricey, but food didn't quite match the price tag. The ambiance is nice and the service was good, but the food really missed the mark--especially for the price. We ordered the onion rings, Caesar salad, and ribeye steak with fries. The onion rings and salad looked very basic, like something made at home, with almost no presentation and very bland flavor. The ribeye wasn't bad quality, but it had almost no beef aroma or taste--just very plain overall. The fries that came with it were even more disappointing. We expected more flavor and thought put into the dishes. Not sure if we caught them on an off day, but the food felt flat and underwhelming. I came here for a nice dinner while visiting Park City. I ordered the charcuterie board which came out with MOLDY CHEESE - once we brought it up to our server she immediately brought it back and the manager came out to fix it and take it back. She offered to bring me a new dish, so I asked if I could do the ricotta instead. Also, I should add that no one at our table was angry or rude in any way! We finish the rest of our meal and our server brings us the check - we were charged for the replacement ricotta? Granted, the original charcuterie board was comped. Second night in Park City and secured a reservation prior. Very good meal with efficient service. Arugula salad, lamb chops, and salmon were cooked well and very tasty. My polenta that accompanied the lamb chops was super salty. My other issue was we had bread plates but not offered bread. Was told you had to order bread service or something like that. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but the patio on a nice Park City summer day. We enjoyed the patio which is in a small pedestrian alley and helps the Italian ambiance. The scallops were so creamy with perfectly cooked risotto that wasn't too salty. The bolognese wasn't my favorite but my husband liked it; the noodles were the highlight of the dish IMO. My son liked the burger but the bun did arrive a little soggy so he didn't put it down, he just kept eating; my guess is they prepared the burger before the other items so the juices from the meat and the sauce on the burger infiltrated the bun. read more

Adorable romantic restaurant in Park City with moderate prices for delicious and creative dishes. We got the scallop risotto and salmon ravioli and ate both dishes in 5 minutes because they were that good. The outdoor seating is great in the summer. My husband asked for the beet soup but it was on the special menu only. They would not serve him a bowl of this soup. Only us and 2 other tables in the restaurant at this time. Café Terigo is a romantic Italian restaurant in the heart of Main Street in Park City. STARTER: For an appetizer, we shared the Grilled Artichoke with Cracked Mustard Aioli ($14) which is perfect for two to share because it already comes cut in half. Personally, in addition to squeezing the cooked lemon on top, I recommend using some of the salted butter that comes with the bread for the harder leaves. ENTREE: We came to Café Terigo because the Pan-Seared Scallops on Spring Pea Risotto ($43) was recommend to me by the local I was sitting next to on the plane ride over, and it lived up to the hype. I thoroughly enjoyed the creaminess of the sauce on the risotto and how it paired well with everything on the dish. I felt the accents completed the dish, from pea tendril greens on top to the roasted red bell pepper purée on the base. The five scallops were cooked to perfection, I just wish there were more of them, as is always the case with good scallops. My recommendation is to get a bit of each component of the dish on each bite. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE: We were luckily able to get a walk-in table on a Saturday night, and everyone from the host to our server was friendly and ready with recommendations. All the food is great. My wife always gets braised beef risotto when it was on the menu. Last weed it was scallop risotto so she asked if sake could substitute chicken for scallops. Sure The problem was they still charged $42 for chicken instead of scallop? Whoa. They should have been maybe $28 for the chicken. We asked the waitress she said it's the same price. Enjoyed lunch while visiting Park City. We started with the crispy calamari which was delicious! For lunch we enjoyed the mixed greens salad with salmon and the chicken risotto. The risotto must be a seasonal entree as I don't see it on the online menu. It was amazing! Creamy risotto with chicken, asparagus and tart dried cherries. Everything blended well together and I appreciated the thin asparagus which is always better than the fat stalks. My rating is mainly for food. Service was good as the servers were really nice. We were a big group of 18 and everyone hated the food. Focaccia bread was soggy. We asked if this bread or something else amd we were told it's focaccia. Pizza was soggy cheesy that they would serve that at cafeterias. Calamari was drenched in oil. Trout was oily as well amd it's a shame to cook a beautiful fish like that. We ordered steak medium well done for kids and it was more than well done. Kids said it was chewy and one of the worst steaks they had. Risotto was really bad as well. I don't know how restaurants like this survive but at the same time it's a touristy place so can't expect much. read more

Incredible food in an intimate spot. This hidden gem is in the middle of Main Street and year after year, serves the most incredible dishes from a carefully curated menu. This is by far one of the best places to eat in town. I usually get the trout or scallops but others in our party swear by the lamb chops or the steak frites. Mediocre, at best. We had enjoyed Cafe Terigo for many years but due to travel changes, haven't eaten there for 3 years. We finally went back last night and I was SO excited to be back. Sadly, I was very disappointed after all the prior great meals we've had there. We arrived early for our reservation (we were starving!) and they happily seated us early. We had to wait 8 - 10 minutes for our server (only a few other diners in entire restaurant) but when she did arrive, she was wonderful. I ordered the smoked chicken alfredo. The description says the meal has basil and pine nuts. There were 5 or 6 SMALL basil slivers and 1 (ONE!) pine nut. The chicken and the pasta were both dry. I was so incredibly disappointed and suspect we won't be going back. Maybe it was just an "off" night for an alfredo dish.... I hope that's just the case. read more

These are the dishes we had and every single one of them were delicious and made with quality ingredients: - Baby Onion Rings w/Berry Ketchup: Abnormally light & flavorful - Housemade Ricotta Cheese w/Tomato Jam, & Grilled Baguette: A must! Really cute place right in the middle of the Main Street area. Multiple levels but they all had the same fun romantic decor. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Sat upstairs it was lively but not too loud. Both the salmon and the chicken meals we had were excellent. And the charcuterie for two could have served 4 easily. We celebrated my husband's birthday at Cafe Terigo on a recent trip to Park City... Admittedly, it was a spontaneous trip and we couldn't get reservations at our first few choices last minute, but the concierge at our hotel recommended this place and got us in, so we were grateful for that and excited to try something new. Service was attentive and friendly and the restaurant is definitely following the Covid-19 guidelines with distancing, masks, etc... we felt safe there and appreciate that. I started the evening with mulled wine. I highly recommend it... especially on a chilly evening :). We shared a calamari appetizer and Caesar Salad. The calamari was just okay - it didn't have a ton of flavor. The salad was good. The complimentary warm cheesy bread / biscuits were delicious. I had the salmon entree and my husband had the veggie pasta. My dish was great - his was a bit disappointing... he didn't even finish it, which is very unlike him. Despite it being his birthday, none of the desserts called to us, so we skipped the sugar there. Needless to say, our meal here was good - perhaps our expectations were too high due to the recommendation from the concierge, or we just ordered wrong... based on other reviews, we may have just had an off meal. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. As an appetizer, we had the artichoke. For my entree, I had the parmesan crusted chicken breast, and I asked for a side of pesto to put on top of the dish because I love pesto. The food was great. I also had a French 75 cocktail and an espresso martini. This was the first espresso martini I've had, as I recently turned 21, and it was great! The inside of this restaurant is beautiful, and there are really cute quotes etched into the walls. We had a party of 6, and they seated us at a gorgeously decorated table.
