First time here in Park City. Nice place. Kinda' high end, but whatever. There are a number of food choices, but my default is always an Irish place if there is one. Fortunately we found Flanagan's. My wife and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I got the boxty and she got the schnitzel (I have no idea why she got a German dish at an Irish establishment) and they were both very good. The portions were enough that we ate until we were full and still had a bit to take home for leftovers. The Guinness was also good, as were the Irish Coffee and the Kahlua/Baileys I had. The staff was friendly and helpful, manager was great, and we were fortunate enough to meet the owner, who was also very friendly and interesting. If we do come back to this area, will definitely drop in again. read more

I am sorry but I am from the SF Bay Area and to keep up with a level of an Irish pub. This is not the place. It is fair but not a place I would come back too. Order the chicken Schnitzel. Chicken was really flat and it was tough like jerky. Disappointment on the Mac and cheese. It was cheese just not at my level.... Mash potatoes good. House salad good . Nice stop in Park City. The bartender was our waiter and he did a great job. He was very friendly and helpful. The Guinness was properly poured and the spicy potatoes were extremely good. Never thought of deep frying baby potatoes and tossing them in buffalo sauce, but it was very good. The Irish Burger, pictured, was HUGE, and DELICIOUS. I recommend adding the egg, and sharing it with someone!! The gravy on the fries made me want to keep eating them even after I was stuffed with my burger. Regarding the service, Tristan and Tristan were attentive and courteous. My main disappointment was with the cocktails my wife's dirty martini and my manhattan were good .... But why only fill the glass two-thirds? Anywhere else I have ordered a manhattan they give you a full glass. Needless to say we didn't order a second round of drinks. read more

We walked in as a group of 9 on a Thursday during Sundance and was seated right away! They have a huge corner table by the window for us. We ordered wings with Flanagan's, buffalo, and 9/11 sauce. The wings were really good! Lightly battered and coated nicely in the sauces. The 9/11 tickled our noses, but we honestly couldn't tell the difference between the 9/11 and the buffalo. The Flanagan's sauce is a spin on BBQ. I got the Irish beef stew, while it was comforting, the meat was a bit tough. I still enjoyed my meal. I did get palette fatigue pretty quick with it. I tried the prime rib, and it was good as well. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and all the options we ordered were comfort foods, and it sure was comforting! read more

Great little Irish Pub. Main Street level is mostly folks grabbing a bite to eat, downstairs is more of the pub feel. Enjoyed a great pour of Guinness on tap. The food is about what you would expect for pub fare. I ordered some sort of fish nuggets and they were ok. Fries were good and crispy. There were a few notable standouts that pushed me to five stars. The Irish beef stew was deemed excellent by several family members, and the burger my son had was fabulous. He insisted I try a bite. We had a very nice experience here. We walked through the snowy park city streets on a Monday around 4 in December to get here. Parking downtown is free until 5. The decor was very festive. Our waiter was attentive. My partner thought the Buffalo wings were some of the best he'd had in a while. Like other reviews, the potato leek soup had a nice flavor but was a bit watery, and the bread bowl was very tasty. I asked for salt and pepper which improved the soup a ton, and I really enjoyed it. This place was a pleasant surprise! First of all, I am a huge Old Fashion fan, and Flanagan's has one of the best I've ever had. The Pretty in Pink drink was also spectacular! We tried the Ruben rolls and the curry fries. My boyfriend doesn't like sauerkraut nor cheese! (Strange, right?!) I got the Ruben rolls all to myself. They're small but filling. The pastry around it is light and airy. Then the cheese bursts through and pulls apart perfectly! The meat is perfectly cooked and wrapped around sauerkraut that leaves a delightful taste in your mouth. It's served with thousand island dressing, and is delicious to share or to have all for yourself. The fries are amazing! They're all crispy and packed with flavor. The curry is also delicious and not too spicy. The service is fast, kind, and competent. You can dine in here, go to the bar, or bring your kids with you! Stopped here during our Park City daily trip for some warm soup! I debated on the vegan chili or the potato leek soup.  After talking with our waitress about it, I picked the potato leek soup & this was such a mistake! It tasted like warm milk. There was no substance in this soup. The waitress said it was really creamy & chunky and there was no creaminess or chunkiness to this soup. Do not recommend this soup. My friends ordered the Chili & I tasted it, it was delicious! So cheesy as well. Great texture & taste. We also ordered the mac and cheese & WOW! This was really good! Very cheesy. Noodles were cooked to perfection. It was really saucy and not dry at all. Highly recommend this dish. Overall, it was a cute place. I think I just ordered the wrong thing. read more

This place is surprisingly kid friendly despite being an Irish pub! I came with my kids for a quick lunch, and they even had a kids' menu. We just got some simple stuff - a Cobb salad and a Mac and cheese for the kids to share. Portions were very generous, and the salad had tons of toppings. It was interesting to us that they squeezed a party of 6 on a table meant for 4 when there was hardly anyone dining on the patio. Regardless, we made do. Since I ate earlier, I opted to go for dessert and went with their bread pudding. It came out warm and rich with a scoop of ice cream. It wasn't the best bread pudding I've ever eaten but it was still delicious. My husband opted for the Reuben and thought it was tasty. We stayed until the restaurant shut down at 9 and without telling us that they were closing, they started hovering and clearing our table. We got the clue and left shortly after 9. Wow...The whiskey chicken boxty was delicious!!! Similar taste to a chicken pot pie, but lighter. The side vegetables were cooked perfectly and paired well. My son ordered the Shepherds Pie and he enjoyed his. Lots of melted cheese on top and a side of the delicious vegetables (cabbage, carrots, and broccoli). Really cute pub with both outdoor and indoor seating. Nice bar area. They even bring water bowls to patrons who have a dog. Downside: we sat at our table for probably 15-20 minutes before anyone besides the hostess, who originally seated us, acknowledged us. Several people who sat 5-10 minutes after us were helped, served, ate, and left before us. They also didn't check on us after we had our food delivered. except to deliver the bill. We were attending a show down the street and decided to try Flanagan's. We arrived a little before 3:30. There a couple tables of guests indoors and a few tables outside. The bar was pretty full. It took about 15 minutes before the bartender/server came over to get our order. It took another 15 minutes for us to finally get our drinks(a draft beer and a vodka soda), after we had to ask the hostess to check on them. The bartender said he got distracted, but he put our food in. We ordered two appetizers, the wings and spicy potatoes. Another 15 minutes went by before our food arrived. So as far as service goes we were terrible disappointed. The hostess was the best server on the floor. The food. The spicy potatoes were delicious! Fried baby potatoes tossed in wing sauce then blue cheese crumbles on top! So good! The wings were cooked nice and crispy. The flanagans sauce was underwhelming. The ranch was excellent! We ordered their bread bowl with Potato Leek soup and 12 pcs fried chicken wings. The best bread bowl I've ever had in my whole life. I'm not even joking. Their sourdough bread with their generous amount of soup couldn't get any better. The texture of the bread was soft and chewy. Yummy!!! Fantastic food! From out of town visiting family who took us here. I got the fish n chips which was fried to perfection! The Irish beef stew was also very good as well as the potato leek soup! My BIL says the Reuben was very good. And my dad and uncle seemed to enjoy their pulled pork sandwiches. We were seated immediately and had fairly prompt service. Food was delivered relatively quickly. Though mine did take a few minutes longer which was a bit awkward; however, the staff did apologize for the delay.
