Really nice staff! We tried 3 different appetizers: the egg rolls, grilled pork spring rolls, and the fried wontons. All were excellent! My favorite of the three was the spring rolls. For our entrees we had rice dishes and they were both very flavorful and filling. I had the beef and my husband had the short ribs. We didn't use the side sauces because the dish had plenty of flavor without them. To top off the night we ordered the strawberry pomegranate tea and the brown sugar milk tea. Both were tasty. I liked how the tea had a little sour kick to it. It's safe to say we had plenty of food to take home! My husband and I enjoyed our first time here and plan to return to try more! read more

So I walk in yesterday to order since so many of you all said to go. The waitress named Elizabeth says "you've been here before, right?" I told her I did but only once, it was over a year ago. She goes.."Yea, I remember you." I obviously thought she was confusing me with someone else. I told her no it wasn't me. She said yes it was. She then tells me how I came with with my cousin and exactly what we ordered to drink and eat, what table I sat in, how spicy I liked my food and so on. I just stood there speechless. HOW IN THE WORLD did she know this? I had to look back at my Instagram page to the day I came there cause I knew I had a post about it on there. She was 100% correct. She said she never forgets a customers face and remembers what they like to order. I looked at her like she was an alien or something. The people here are soo NICE! Sooo friendly and have amazing customer service skills. Definitely the type of place where everyone remembers your name. Elizabeth is sooo sweet!! So is the other people working front desk. I literally wanted to take them home and make them family! lol The food is good but it is only second fiddle to the insanely good customer service. I got Bun Rieu ... it's a crab soup that's not on the menu. If you ask for it then they'll make it for you. Also egg rolls and brown sugar boba with flan. We bought a Banh Mi sandwich made of brisket I think. Also a milk tea with boba. The 2 things I wish would change is... THEY REALLYYYY need to get a bigger place. 4 tables is just not enough for a restaurant. It's not fair for everyone that has to constantly wait long periods to get a table or just have to take it to go. These is the main reason it has taken me a year to come back again. I actually live in the same city as the restaurant. Secondly, their boba drink cups are so low quality. It folds when you old it. You can tell its probably the cheapest one they could buy. They should invest in better quality cups that will hold the drink properly. I spilled my brown sugar boba everywhere because it folded inward when held. Other than that this place is great. Another one of those secret gems that is popping up around the metro. Although it's about 30 mins from us, the drive is worth it. They have a few secret entrees that aren't on the menu which is worth finding out. Mainly the Bun Rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle) and brown sugar flan drink is amazing! Heads up! This is a small establishment. They have about 6 tables (seats about 6 people) and some window seatings. My friend and I were lucky that we got there before lunch time rush came in on Saturday. Since its about a 20-30 mins drive for me, we took advantage and order as much as we could. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepes) are one of my faves and here they made it perfectly crispy. Had their drinks and it was very good. KK and I, having a rare girl's now get out. By the way, both the tempura shrimp and the takoyaki is both awful!!!! The tempura shrimp was bland and batter was awful and very thick!!! The shrimp was the tiny! The takoyaki and very lacking!! In each ball, there was 2-3 tiny, rubbery pieces of octopus in a very raw dough!!! I will say, our drinks were amazing!!!!! Beautiful food -- quite literally. (To quote fellow Yelper Ben, "First off, presentation and quantity of food is easily 10/10." I'm usually pretty nonchalant about presentation in small, family owned joints, and more zealous about the food itself. (Here, though? The restaurateur really goes out of his way to make your food not only tasty, but pretty as well. Very nice.) The noodle soups I've had here were all outstanding, and the flan is above reproach. Please read before going here. They have changed ownership and the food quality is completely different. Horrible! The amount of meat in my banh mi was smaller than a pair of chopsticks. Our tempura shrimp was Costco tempura shrimp and arrived completely greasy to our table. Our egg noodle dumpling soup was inedible!!!! The noodles were complete mush and the wonton dumplings in the soup had a spoiled texture and taste! We asked for another dish cause we couldn't even swallow a single bite. There was no way that dish could've been improved. We asked if we could have another dish but the owner said no. I reluctantly paid the bill and left with my wife. Being Vietnamese/Asian, I don't want to speak so negatively about my people's restaurant but this was such a horrifying experience. Food is fresh and very good. I am writing this review to warn against getting deliveries from their website. I'm not sure this restaurant is even aware of the unethical practices of this service they use. They use skiplinenow. This company steals the driver's tips. They don't even have their own delivery. They use DoorDash and other companies to cover their orders and that's when they steal the tip that belongs to the driver that the customer left for the driver, not the company. I advise all drivers that if the restaurant decides to use them not to deliver for them because they're actually stealing the tips belong to the driver because the tip was actually left for the driver, not this company. I paid for my driver to get a 15% on top of a $6.99 delivery charge. The driver got $3.06 of my tip. read more

Cafe Uyen will likely impress you with whatever you order. We tried Banh Mi, wings, and flan and were just kind of amazed that such tasty food was readily available in the Yukon/Mustang area. The sandwiches were nicely portioned, fresh, and flavorful. The wings were my favorite part of the meal, being extra crunchy, chewy, tangy, sweet, and savory all at once. I'm looking forward to stopping by again just for these wings. The flan had great texture but the caramel sauce didn't leave as much of an impact as I hoped it would. Still, it was a great way to end our meal. If, for some reason, the food doesn't impress you, Uyen's service will. Every server was quick and friendly, getting our orders in/out quickly and frequently checking on us. The owner (or who I assume was the owner) was also super pleasant, greeting every new customer by name like she had known them for years. For those of you who live in Yukon/Mustang, do yourself a favor and check out Cafe Uyen. You shouldn't miss out on this place and, if I'm being totally honest, I'm afraid most of us will because 1.) It's a little out of the way from central Yukon and/or 2.) Oklahomans (some of us, anyways) can't be bothered to try food that wasn't slathered in gravy or deep fried into oblivion. Actual good local businesses like Uyen need extra loving because the majority of us can't stop patronizing 1.1 miles of Garth Brooks Blvd garbage! Bah! Sorry. My husband and I were in town for the night, and I was really craving boba. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea, and he ordered the Assam, and they were both DELICIOUS. Just a heads up, the majority of the kitchen staff didn't have on their mask, so if you're cautious, you might want to skip this place. Anyway, I ordered the Bun Rieu (viet crab noodle soup) and Pho combination; portions were huge and reasonably priced. I thought the Bun Rieu was okay. All the ingredients needed for an authentic Bun Rieu were there, but the broth wasn't that flavorful, it was somewhat bland. There was a lot of food coloring, so it didn't have that traditional crab and tomato flavor. I guess I'm used to homemade Bun Rieu, so I'm picky here. For the pho, it had good cuts of meats. I had taken a sip of the broth before adding any hoisin sauce, and it could've had a more savory depth and beefy flavor.
