I can't believe I've been passing this place and not trying them because my coffee today was so so good!!! They are a cute small coffee shop that's located with Hill Climb (rock climbing) they have cute painted walls in their shop and they display all their yummy baked goods. I love that they have local desserts. I got their iced sea salt Mac nut mocha from their specialty menu and it was a 9/10. So so good. I got a large and it was only $7 something and it came with 3 espresso shots. A perfect amount to feel the coffee and taste the yummy flavors at the same time. There is only one worker but she is quick to make your drinks. Super friendly too. As for the parking. They have street parking so hopefully you are lucky to get one close by! Lol

A hidden gem with amazing coffee and seriously good food. Everything we tried was yummy, but the mango bread was next level. Can't wait to come back!

This is a delightful review of Cafe Villamor, located right by the HiClimb Rock Climbing and Yoga Center. In this one-man show, Philip is the ultimate multitasker--serving as order-taker, cashier, barista, sandwich artisan, dishwasher extraordinaire, table wiper, and customer service guru, all while managing a bustling crowd of eager patrons. Even when the line snakes back 6-8 customers deep, Philip maintains a charming demeanor, full of conversation and attentiveness. He's the kind of guy who remembers regulars' orders, which is impressive considering he only works weekends! The menu boasts a cornucopia of delectable delights, featuring Cafe Villamor's divine coffee specials like the Sea Salt Mac Nut Mocha and an array of seasonal treats. There are also steaming hot and refreshing iced teas, open-faced bagels, and protein-packed bowls and shakes to refuel the energetic souls who climb rocks and yoga-stretch like pretzels. I indulged in the Open Faced Bagel, dubbed "Avocado Toast" for a mere $12. With a house-made avocado spread (simply, avocado, lemon and salt), cherry tomatoes, and pickled red onions, this masterpiece was a perfect harmony of flavors. The bagel itself, toasted to perfection with a tantalizing chew, was a work of art on my plate, and each bite was a symphony of deliciousness. For my drink, I chose the Wildflower Honey Latte, one of Cafe Villamor's special offerings priced at $6 for a small, $6.50 for a medium, and $7.50 for a large. This creamy concoction of coffee, milk, honey and cinnamon was served in a tall cup adorned with a thick gold reusable straw. It transformed each sip into a delightful dance of flavor that was as refreshing as it was soothing. Step inside, and you'll find an oasis of air-conditioned comfort featuring two long tables with bench-like seating, complete with dual power outlets for all those studious folks who want to mix academia with caffeine. The new outdoor area is perfect for lounging, whether in a group or seeking solitude to ponder life's mysteries. However, there is one tiny hiccup: parking can be a bit of a challenge. I recommend the worry-free option at Whole Foods, just a leisurely 10-minute stroll away. Overall, this enchanting experience is one I would happily repeat--so much so, I can already feel my taste buds tingling for a return visit!

I've walked by this place every time I get my nails done at the Beauty Barn but only took note of the climbing wall and workout area next to the cafe. This time I decided to stop in before going to the BB. There was one customer in front of me so I took the opportunity to check the place over. I loved the wall murals and the nice wooden tables and benches as well as the huge selection of beverages on the overhead menu. The person ahead of me ordered a salted caramel something that looked yummy but I just ordered a basic cold brewed coffee with cream. Lex, the proprietor, was such a delightful person so I just know I'll be back just for him and to try some of the enticing beverages on their menu.

Breakfast in Kaka'ako, Honolulu, Hawaii... I skipped the cookies, brownies, and coffee at church and aimed for a healthy açai bowl and fresh tea at Cafe Villamor because there should be free parking on a Sunday! Located in the industrial area, I looked for a closed business and parked quickly. Hoping to not get towed, I ran over to HIClimb where Cafe Villamor resides. The lone worker was a guy who may have been a bit stressed. He was taking care of the 3 orders ahead of me. He did apologize for the wait, and I appreciate that. When my turn came, I ordered the Midnight Makapu'u Acai Bowl and a Blueberry Lavender Butterfly iced tea. He didn't ask me what size - I was ready for the upsell, but he just gave me the smaller size. It was refreshing, pretty, and unsweetened. When the Açai Bowl came, I showed him the Yelp check-in offer for a free topping, and he said, "Next time". It's my fault. I checked in after I ordered. The Bowl was OK. The fresh blueberries, banana slices, and cacao chips were great texture and flavor contrasts to each other. Note: All 3 bowls have been cleverly names after hikes with inclines: Stairway to Heaven, Makapu'u, and Koko Head! Well, I'm disappointed that the owner, Kyla, wasn't there. I've heard so many good things about her. She's supposed to be a vibrant, woman-owned entrepreneur! I did like the decor of this cozy shop! (Look at the colorful octopus and the painted table tops!) Maybe I'll come back on a holiday because of the limited parking...

I've tried this place a couple times and have mixed feelings. Their coffee tastes a little watered down, and I just came here I ordered a cold brew with oatmilk and you could visibly see clumps in it. When I asked the server about the drink she told me thats how oatmilk should look like... which I've never seen in other drinks before? But kinda threw me off because there was a lot of specs/clumps at the bottom... Otherwise their bagel was good, nicely toasted, and tasted good.

Good quality of coffee. Very strong coffee flavor. I order Iced Latte and it tastes really good. Service is fair. The cafe is pretty clean and bright. The only concern is there're not enough parkings. Only street parking available.

Coffee was just okay in my opinion? I'm a sucker for a delicious sweet coffee and this was just okay. I got the wildflower coffee and honestly it tasted like a pumpkin spice latte in a way? It had some kind of topping on it, maybe cinnamon or something similar. Came with someone who got the americano and said it just tastes fine.

We had the açaí bowl and the peanut butter, banana protein shake. A meal in a meal. Good service and nice ppl. Defn for the health concise minds.

Best açaí bowl ever! I stopped in today for the first time and ordered a Midnight Makapu'u with strawberries. The service was super friendly. Please be sure to tip them! They deserve it! The açaí bowl survived my car ride to the beach. I made certain to savor every bite. The cocoa nibs tasted of high quality chocolate. The texture of the granola along with the chocolate pieces was satisfying. The banana, blueberries and star berries were fresh and sweet. The açaí blend itself was refreshing and addictive! It contains whey, so it will keep you full and energized for a long time. I definitely wanna come back and try their other offerings. Cafe Villamor is located by/within HI Climb Gym. Parking could be hard to find, but Villamor is so worth trying!

Small cafe with limited seating, inside the HiClimb location, but if you're in the area, this is the best place for a diverse and tasty menu. Vegan options included. Limited food and baked goods but highly recommend trying them because they are SO good. Whether or not I'm going climbing, I'd still rather stop here than anywhere else. If you're into D&D, they also have game nights. Don't sleep on this place! Very welcoming to the geek community.

Super cute interior where you order and a huge open space to enjoy your food. My acai bowl was amazing and I really enjoyed that it was a protein bowl that had whey

On a date with my beautiful woman, Celestial. Great spot for coffee.

We ordered Hawaiian (DELUXE + PAʻIʻAI) which included Granola, banana, strawberry, blueberry, beepollen, honey + Pa'i'ai (taro): absolutely amazing and refreshing after all day outside in sunny. Love how they include pa'i'ai in the bowl as it's very hearty. I tried several bowls including the Da Cove, Mana, Lava, Hapa, and Hawaiian. The fruit in every bowl tasted incredibly fresh and everything was really enjoyable. My fav was definitely the Hawaiian because it includes paʻiʻai, which I later learned is hand-pounded steamed taro. It had a slightly chewy, paste like texture that was really good and added something special to the bowl. I would easily recommend this spot to anyone visiting. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Hawaii. We didn't get a chance to try any of their other food or drinks though, so that's something I'd want to check out next time. There are quite a lot of seats inside, which makes it fairly easy to find a place to sit. They do have parking right in front of the shop, but the spaces are a little tight. The bathroom was a bit questionable though it was very dimly lit and seemed to double as a storage area.

Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Seating is limited so it may be difficult to find seating especially during high traffic meal times. May have better luck finding seating outside. I've been here multiple times for lunch and had multiple different items. The acai bowl are good. I like getting the Nalu salad which is always a decent serving and tastes fresh. The sandwiches are also pretty tasty. My main issue is the service. I'm not sure if part of their training is to ignore the customer as much as possible because that has been my experience on multiple occasions. The most recent visit, I had ordered online and was going to pick up m food for takeout. There were three workers at the front just talking. I walked to the counter and was ignored. I could see where the orders are placed and didn't see anything there so figured my order wasn't ready yet. I stood on the side for at least 5 minutes without any greeting or acknowledgement. Not a single person made eye contact with me. When I saw an order placed on the back counter one of them grabbed it and placed it on the takeout counter without calling out the name and went back to chatting. I had to actively try to get their attention at which point I was looked at like I was bothering them. Asked if my order was ready and was handed it without any further interaction. I don't expect happy go lucky people and conversation but at least basic customer service.

I always found them to be either too sour with unripe fruit, overly sweet due to the toppings, or just too much of the same thing. Since I was staying in the area, I thought it would be good to give them another try. I LOVE dragon fruit, so the pink bowl was an obvious choice. I got it with added chia seeds and no coconut flakes. Nothing in this bowl was sour, the honey and granola didn't make it overly sweet, and the pitaya base didn't feel icy at all. Everything about it was balanced and so refreshing. My partner got the Ala Moana bowl because of the papaya that caught his eye. Although I didn't particularly like it, my partner said it was one of his favorite eats of our trip. We'll be thinking about Aloh until we can go back! Service: (5/5) There's not much actual service since you order on a kiosk, but the team here are pretty quick with making orders which is always a plus.
