Newest coffee spot in Kaimuki! We ordered the Three Waves and Hazelnut Hula lattes both with oat milk. Coffee is good and strong! They even use ice made out of their own coffee so that when it melts down it still has that coffee flavor. No watery coffee here! Menu offers a variety of things from lattes, blended drinks, teas, food, etc. Service is quick. Although the shop was not busy while I was there, I noticed that the baristas did not offer any greetings and remained on their phone even while preparing the drinks. Inside is cute, clean and cozy. There are a few seats and counter seating. Wifi is provided. Parking is a small lot that is shared with other business or you could find street metered parking. Definitely will be back to try their other items.

Parking is right in front of the place but you can do street parking if you get lucky. Good spot to come and just chill with friends and get a drink. The coffee is great! My favorite part is that the ice is made out of coffee sooo your coffee doesn't get watered down. I for bad ass mocha, and that was good stuff. Sweet but still get the coffee taste. My kids liked it here too bc they had food and pastries. Will definitely come here again.

It's not so bad... Yes they're know for coffee but this matcha lover just had to give it a try knowing it won't be the same but then again it's a great option to find that here as well since I didn't expect to see it at all but they do have a wonderful selection of non coffee drinks available as well so you need to check out this newbie in Kaimuki. 'Besides having wonderful choices of drink and some hot and a few grab and go items is that they do have a few seating available inside with two tables and a couple of comfy chairs with four counter seating for those who like to work makes it a great spot along with having a restroom as well makes it all come plate including free wifi. Parking maybe the biggest challenge with just a few stalls they share with other biz there are quite a few metered parking along Waialae which I did so if you just swinging by for a sip it's an easy spot to do so. Other fun features is that if you follow them on Instagram you can score a free koozie and if you join their Ohana Reward by downloading their app you can order online and rack up points for rewards for free sandwich or drink and as the staff is nice and friendly also efficient as my drink came out fast...and how was it okay the usual matcha and cafes sweeter than usual but I enjoyed it though the next time I would like to try their coffee as it looked like they use their brewed coffee as ice cubes so that it wouldn't be watered down and stay strong in flavor and keeps you going lol! Love this newbie as it already seems popular to our local folks where you can find a spot to chill to do whatever even if it is Bad Ass. Thank you!

Refreshing beverage in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawai'i... I have seen Bad Ass Coffee Company in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. I know that they're even on Maui! Finally, they've arrived in Honolulu! Located on the corner of 10th Avenue and Waialae Avenue, Bad Ass refers to the hard-working donkeys on the coffee plantations. I saw a cute donkey plushie in the store and tried to get it through the app, but it's not there. That's why I had to download the app - and in the process, got $5 off my next purchase, bonus "Lei" (which are like "Stars" at another coffee company), and other perks! Parking is free in the residential area, and there are a few stalls in front of the building along Waialae Avenue, next to Sushiya and Boston Pizza. Service was friendly and helpful! I learned that the pickup area for mobile orders is around the corner, at the beginning of the hallway to the convenient restroom. There's a cozy area for dining in! On my first visit, I got the Matcha Latte with soy milk ($1.30 upcharge) and a Portuguese sausage sandwich which had egg and cheese filling in the croissant... delicious! On my second visit, I got the Matcha Latte with coconut milk ($1.30 upcharge) and a bonus 17 Stars for St. Patrick's Day... thank you! Welcome to Honolulu, Bad Ass Coffee! Wishing you much success and happiness!

It was pretty standard and I tried their "The Original" iced coffee which was more like a frappe. It was a cute coffee lol it was blended so it felt more like a milkshake - it was thick. Service was quick and they call out your name on the other side for pick-up. There was places to sit down but it still didn't have much tables available when I went. It was actually pretty crowded so keep that in mind. Pretty standard and it's another option if other cafes in the neighborhood are too crowded. Also if you were hoping to get the free coozie for following them on Instagram too bad because they gave it all away lol *sigh*

Food- 5 stars Ambiance- 4 stars Service- 5 stars Okay I have only tried the location in Maui across Honokowai Beach park and thought this coffee shop was overrated. However, this location offers a better display that shares signature drinks as well as barista recommendations. The staff is super friendly and made me a delicious Turtle Kick. The turtle kick is ice blended with mocha and caramel! I highly recommend visiting this location. Only thing to note is that it is located on a very congested corner of waialae and parking can be horrendous. I would park off of 10th avenue and just walk to Waialae.

Coffee + cozy ambiance = perfect combo. Loved the aroma, smooth taste, and calming vibe of the café.

Cool new coffee shop opened in Kaimuki! Shares a parking lot with Boston's. Limited spots at lot but metered parking nearby. Bad Ass coffee offers quality drinks, ranging from matcha, chai to mana energy drinks and coffee. I would recommend trying one of their signature drinks, less sweet. You can choose what type of milk you want but the default is whole milk. The coffee is nice and smooth. I enjoyed my iced latte. The ice for coffee drinks are frozen iced coffee cubes! How fun! My boyfriend's iced dirty chai was yummy too. Will try the pasties and other drinks at a later time! Be sure to join their rewards program. Friendly staff, cute cafe with restroom, outlets and limited indoor seating. Will be back!

I had to try this place out after finding out they had coffee iced cubes! Wow! If you're a coffee addict like me you need to be here because the coffee is strong & the taste is amazing! watery coffee where?! Haha They are located in kaimuki on Waialae ave. Parking is limited and hard so find street parking if anything. The service is good. They made my coffee pretty quickly, even if there was a bunch of people already there. Friendly & welcoming. The inside is not too small so you can enjoy and grab a seat to stay. They have a lot of merch to buy and everything has a cute donkey on it haha (their mascot) I enjoyed the coffee and can't wait to go back to try more items & food too!

@fortunefoodfinds: "Preparing for the BAD weather that's expected to hit again! A Cold Lava Cold Brew with choice Banana Foam, a Caramel Wave Latte, n' a Chocolate Chiller split into two cups from BAD ASS COFFEE OF HAWAII's newest location in Kaimukī. Their grand opening celebration is happening this Saturday. If the roads are safe, go on n' make your way!" SERVICE: fully staffed INTERIOR: clean, modern, cozy, seating can get filled up quickly, have a single bathroom in the back hallway EXTERIOR: located on a corner, no ramp to push up a stroller so had to lift ours to get on the store level WAIT TIME: 10 mins total (5 mins before placing order + 5 mins after placing order to receiving drinks) PARKING: few spots in front where you will have to be driving in the direction next to the store; don't think you can cross over from the opposite lane. Otherwise neighborhood street parking, that can be packed on the weekend. OVERALL COMMENTS: wanted to try out one of their limited time drinks, Jack's or Jenny's, but they were out of an ingredient to make either. Decided on the caramel wave latte, which had just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the strong coffee. Next time I would add a cold foam to make it creamy, but I still very much enjoyed my latte. Mah hubz liked the banana foam I chose for his cold brew. He's simple when it comes to coffee so he was satisfied. Glad they had keiki options n' ofc my kids were happy with anything chocolate. Now when I'm in Kaimukī n' want coffee, I know where to go!

The drinks were great, a more modern twist on coffee and refreshers. I wish there was a wider selection of drinks but their menu is a lot more unique than other coffee shops in the area. There's not a whole lot of parking or seats but the service here is great. You'll pretty much be in and out if you're in a rush.

Grand opening vibes were awesome at Bad Ass Coffee Honolulu! I stopped by for the grand opening and ended up winning a bag, which was such a fun surprise. They were also handing out free T-shirts and a free koozie, plus the free WiFi made it easy to hang out a bit and enjoy the space. I tried Jenny's Pistachio drink, and it was rich, smooth, and a really solid pick. Great opening day energy, friendly staff, and a fun way to kick off a new spot in Honolulu.
