Very cute place. I just happened to drive-by and I'm so glad that I did. I took my two girls and our littlest pup in for a trial because we have four dogs of all sizes and breeds. For me, I think it's more suited to smaller dogs, but I definitely saw larger dogs in there. They were much well behaved than my large dogs of course lol. You walk in and you check in electronically and sign a liability waiver and you also place your "people order " if you would like for a coffee or juice or a pastry and then you proceed inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks, we tried two different kinds, but we also tried a savory scone and a salted brownie, and those were super delicious! Once inside, there is a set up that's much like a frozen yogurt station but for dogs. There is Kiefer instead of frozen yogurt or you could do a "pup cup" with different options of dried proteins, vegetables and fruits and other types of toppings. They have information on everything the dog is eating and You can see everything they're putting in it and there are these cute little sniff tests at floor level, so the dogs can pick their own food. If your dog doesn't want a "pup cup", then they have what's called a barkuterie bored. It's all the toppings without the Kiefer. Things range from maybe about $10-$20 or so for the dogs. And it might sound like a lot but it's really about the experience which is totally worth it. You get your food and they have tables and these benches that are set up along the wall with these built-in short leash clips so you can clip your dog on the bench and they can eat at the table with you. They have these table height, little pup cup holders also Which are super cute and smart. The staff is super sweet and nice and helpful and seem to really love all the dogs. I will definitely be back with my little ones and maybe more well-behaved dogs. I might even reach out to the owner for some dog training for my less well-behaved ones. I will say that their website needs a little more work because there wasn't much information on it and I couldn't find anything about training or size of dogs allowed or type of dogs allowed, and it doesn't link properly to their social media. But all of that could be fixed, and it has no effect on their Business for me. read more

After hearing that a new dog cafe was going to be opening, I waited oh so patiently to finally get to bring my doggo here. Love how they've set up the whole cafe, and it was 100% geared toward the dogs. Plenty of tables with comfy benches and personal leashes to secure each dog at their table. When you walk up to the counter, there are scent holders for the dogs to sniff to customize their pup cup experience. You know our dog attached himself to the peanut butter scent! And they use high quality food because only the best for our best friends. Jared was wonderful as he walked us through the process and made us the perfect pup cup. They even gave us a little dog treat for the road! And it's located right across from the park, so great to run off some energy afterwards. Cafe Zoomies is AMAZING! We drove about 2 hours into Ventura to treat our pup since we don't have many dog friendly places back home. The staff was incredibly welcoming and treated our Choco with such kindness. As a beagle, our dog's nose was so happy sniffing out which treats he wanted in his cup but they also have charcuterie boards you can build if you prefer. You can tell from our picture he was ready for more yummy treats. We only wish we lived closer to be able to take him more often but we know we will be back. read more

Love that they have coffee beverages for humans and pup cups for the dogs. We brought our two dogs here for a treat. The dogs loved their pup cups - there were so many options to choose from. There are short leases for dogs to stay in place and enjoy their treats while you sit next to them. Highly recommend visiting this spot! read more

My little dog and I walk 4-5 miles per day so today we decided to walk down to Cafe Zoomies and check it out. Shula loved sniffing at all of the containers (peanut butter and pumpkin appeared to be her faves). Guess I got a little carried away with the add ons so it was about $10. She went straight for the fish skin then consumed it all. I'll have to build this into our weekly walks when I want to give her a special treat. This is so fun! It's so much more than a cafe you can bring your dog to -- you can enjoy, love, and treat your dog! It's a family experience! It's set up so well, there is no worry about any bag dog altercation. The human drinks are great too! The owners and barktenders are all so sweet and really love pups. Downtown Ventura's Cafe Zoomies is a great place to go! I took my GSDxHusky Cash this morning and he loved it. Reservations can be made in advance. I went this morning and we were the only people there. Maybe call ahead if you have a reactive dog to ask if they're busy. If they aren't, your reactive dog may thrive here. Their main feature is the doggy snack bar. They have a unique scent feature where dogs can smell samples of their different options and decide what they want. Cash chose peanut butter kefir with fish and oyster protein but loves the chicken option as well. It was $15 for one full serving of their dog meals, which I thought was excessive at first, but it ended up having really high quality ingredients and I'm sure their doggie kefir isn't cheap. They have smaller, less expensive options too. Staff were very kind to us and loved meeting Cash. They were very respectful of his space, asking before approaching him and letting him come up to them. Service is consistently perfect every time we visit. Their booths have a short leash attached so you don't need to hold on to your dog, and there is a cup holder just for them so you don't have to hold a cup up to their face. Oh, and they have a human menu too. I loved the coffee cake and mocha. If you're looking for a sign to check out Cafe Zoomies, this is it! I wish I could rate them higher than five stars. They will be my top pick for a venue when it's time to plan Cash's birthday party. read more

My dog was super excited to go into Cafe Zoomies. You sign a waiver upon arrival, it takes about 3 minutes. Once you get inside your dog gets to smell these different circular containers in order to decide how to build their pup cup. It's very cute. The manager was there during our visit and was super sweet. She gave us a treat to go. The human coffee bar was undergoing some repairs so we did not get to treat ourselves, but our pups seemed to love their snacks. read more

Very pricey. 2 adults and 1 dog nearly $50.00. All we had were 2 pastries and 2 ice coffees and our dog had 1 pup cup with a few toppings. Service was slow although the girl was sweet and very adorable. The ambiance was as you would expect, was mainly for the dogs. We'll probably not be going back because we can't afford it. read more
