We came here for dim sum since we heard they had changed chefs a while ago. Very old school Chinese…read morerestaurant decor along with the paper placemat with Chinese zodiac printed around the border! Yall know what I'm talking about lol! Ordered a large variety of dim sum, a salt and pepper pork chop dish, and a whole Peking duck! Everything came out hot and fresh so no complaints there. Let's talk taste though... Peking duck was just ok, very dark in color and did not have that authentic taste. I would not recommend this place for their Peking duck. Even the wrappers had a weird taste the fried salt and pepper pork chops lacked both salt and pepper! The dim sum was again just ok, like if you need your fix and didn't feel like driving too far, then here is fine. Service was great and food came out pretty fast. My one star off is for taste and authenticity, prob a non Chinese would find this place great.

The sesame noodles were just lo mein noodles with a tiny drizzle of sauce and a few sesame seeds, no real flavor except dough. The Chongqing chicken had some pieces that were refrigerator-level cold, the chiles had just been dumped on top and not stir-fried with the chicken, and there were zero Sichuan peppercorns, so not mala at all. The chicken fried rice and the scallion pancakes were overcooked, and there was no sauce with the pancakes. Asked for utensils and hot oil, received neither.

Everything tasted great! I ordered extra lemon to squeeze into my soup. The restaurant was clean and looked simple with some nice Vietnamese decor. It was quiet when I went for lunch on a Tuesday. The food was average priced and the portions were huge. We really enjoyed everything we ate! Bathrooms were also clean. Easy parking in the springfield plaza. I suggest going here. They have a variety of traditional Vietnamese food (not just your typical pho and banh mi sandwiches) and I'll be back to try more menu items :)

I liked how at the get-go they gave me a full set of silverware and chopsticks swaddled in a napkin. The crispy 1. Chả Giò spring rolls with ground pork and crab were excellent. I especially liked that they provided two dipping sauce for the spring rolls. One sauce was sweet and the other was tart with fish sauce flavor. I liked both sauces equally. For my entrée, I ordered the 24. Cơm Sườn Chả pork chop. I was intrigued by the menu description which included egg custard and broken rice. Overall, the pork was very good and I liked that it was not over-marinated with lemongrass. The egg custard was a square of something gelatinous. It had a mild pleasant flavor. So the broken rice is interesting. It seems like a short-grain white rice, but has a very nice somewhat dense texture. Even though the menu advertised lettuce with tomato for my pork chop, the lettuce came with thinly sliced carrot and radish instead of tomato, which was fine. The only negative about my visit to Brothers Bistro was that the pork chop came out at the same time as the spring rolls appetizer.

It was such a cute little pho but the broth was aromatic, rich, and the brisket had the right about of fattiness. With the bahn mi, it was more than enough food. The service was also amazing. The person at the register was knowledgeable when I asked for recommendations, and he was very kind. This is definitely an unassuming place, but their food is packed with flavor. I'm definitely coming back here and would recommend others to try it out!

The fish sauce paired was the perfect amount of sweetness & tanginess I also go the special combination bahn mi which I thought was okay. The bread was not as flakey as I would have liked it. The pickled carrots & daikons were not soaked long enough imo. I tried some of the desserts as well which included a cherry Che & while this was good I wish the jelly was cut up more. They are extremely large pieces (personal preference here). I also got the fried rice with pork floss & first time having this I loved it! Service was nice & friendly. There's plenty of indoor seating & outside parking!

It has that perfect balance of savory depth without being overly salty, and you can tell it's been simmered for hours. The soft tendon was another highlight. It was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth, adding a great texture and flavor to the bowl. Too often tendon can be tough or chewy, but Saigon City gets it exactly right. The portion sizes are also fantastic. The bowls are generous and loaded with noodles, meat, and fresh ingredients, making it a great value for the price. I left completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. If you're a pho lover looking for flavorful broth, perfectly cooked tendon, and hearty portions, Saigon City is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

I hate to write a bad review of a pho place, but in my opinion, it wasn't great…read more We arrived around lunch time with no workers to be seen. After a few minutes of waiting at the door, we decided to sit ourselves down. Few minutes later we were handed menus, not by an employee but a customer..mind you, it wasn't busy at all (about 4 tables) We were greeted by our server shortly after and her energy and vibe was just not it. A bit of an attitude and felt extremely rushed. We ordered a large seafood pho and a small with egg noodles. The large seafood pho looked pretty delicious , but unfortunately looks can be deceiving. The broth wasn't flavorful at all. Just tasted like water with a hint of beef flavoring. The shrimp and fish cakes were rubbery, and the fishballs were still cold. Maybe I came on a bad day to get pho at this location, but I will not be coming back.
