One sad chopped up chicken tender, 8 Oz of noodles, and a congealed cream sauce. Yeah thats what I think of when I think alfredo.
    Chris S.

Alright, first 1 I've left in a long time. I'll preface this with I received someone else's uber order but was so offended by the food I had to leave something. I cannot fairly speak of the service or ambiance but its noodles and Co. I'm sure it's fine for a chain whatever. The food... I don't even know how to fairly explain what I received. First and foremost I like pepper, and I've never had "chicken alfredo" drowned in so much pepper it was the only thing I tasted before. So yeah there's issue #1. Next issue is I don't know what in the world kind of "chicken" we are using here but I've never seen chicken alfredo use half-frozen, rubbery chicken tenders before. And you know I wasn't super happy with that... but, moving on there's more still! For the price of the order I'd be screaming I was robbed. $17 for 8oz of noodles and a single chopped up chicken tender? What kind of sick joke is that. Go patronize your local Italian restaurant if you want chicken alfredo. The price might be higher but at least you'll get your money's worth. If I could leave a zero I would. Avoid this noodles & co like your life depends on it, you live near DC there's plenty of better options. In fact, 0/5 do not recommend.

Took my 'grown' 13 year old here today for a Daddy Date to help expand her culinary horizons beyond pizza and Italian pasta every time she goes someplace. *eye roll* Haven't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised at the changes. We had a dish apiece and some potstickers. She had Pad Thai and I had the Korean Beef Ramen. Not bad. A reasonable facsimile to authenticity, but more like the McDonald's of Asian cuisine. A wee bit above average but not extraordinary. I spent $31 between the two of us with drinks included. I'll actually go to another location in the future, since I seem to pass them all the time wherever I am.

My youngest daughter went to a Noodles & Company about a week ago for the first time with a teammate and ever since, she has been telling me that we need to try it as a family. I've passed by so many, but honestly, I had no idea what kind of restaurant it was. I mean, have you ever seen a Noodles & Company commercial or advertisement? I have not. We entered the restaurant and there were only a few patrons inside. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and I asked the cashier what was good. She had nothing to say, but continued to smile as if we were speaking a foreign language. Lol. My girls looked to me for advice and I turned to trusty Yelp for help. They ended up ordering the Penne Rosa with spicy tomato sauce, added shrimp and their friend kept it simple with spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the Thai Hot Pot and cheesy bread to share. All in all, our meals were not bad at all. My girls commented that my spicy tomato sauce is much better but when you're hungry, theirs would suffice. One thing is all of our meals were quite bland, but tasted good. We had no complaints. The sliced hot cherry peppers added a kick to my dish and the broth was delicious. The chick and pork tasted like rubber though. I pushed to the side. Cheesy bread was awesome, but the slices were small for the price. We will not be rushing back to dine here again, but we would certainly come back.

Noodles & Company was a very welcome addition to the Springfield restaurant scene when in opened in April 2012. I'd been going to the location at Kingstowne and now there was a closer one! Noodles & Company specializes in serving up familiar noodle and pasta dishes. The selections are broadly categorized as Asian, Mediterranean, and American. In making a selection, you choose a base noodle/pasta dish and then decide what will accompany it. Asian noodles includes Japanese Pan Noodles (Udon), Pad Thai, or rice noodles. Mediterranean choices are penne pasta or linguine. American selections are down-home Stroganoff, egg noodles, Macaroni & Cheese, and Spaghetti & Meatballs. Salads are also available. I've come to like the Japanese Pan Noodles with steak, Pad Thai with chicken, and . the Mushroom Stroganoff with beef. I add a side Caesar Salad to the noodle bowl. I like the salads at Noodles & Company, too, especially the Chinese Chop Salad. A big hit this sumer has been the Summer Salads. The Backyard Barbecue Chicken Salad is he best item the make! I hope it will stay around as I've been ordering it a lot recently! This Noodles & Company is uniformly good. It did not take this location long to surpass the Kingstown store!

Quality place. While it is a chain, it is one of the better ones and this location in particular is well kept. It is always clean, the staff is courteous and helpful, and I have never had an issue. The noodle dishes aren't the quality you get from your grandma, but they are in line with what I would expect from a chain. For the price point, I feel like it is worth the money and eat here once a month or so

My second time coming here, the first time I got their Pad Thai which was overly sweet with tangy flavors, I had to adjust it and recook it when I got home to make it worth my money. This time, I got their Penne Rosa with Parmesan. Tastes very bland and has little to no flavor. It's ok. If you dislike tomatoes, you won't like this as it has a lot of diced chunky tomatoes in it, rather than a sauce. Overall, bland pasta with little to no tomato flavor.

Shrimp scampi (with broccoli) and side balsamic salad.

Ordered delivery- overall a good experience. I ordered the shrimp scampi penne and a small side salad. Came as expected. They followed with with substitution request of no tomatoes in place of broccoli and put a good amount of broccoli in it. They allow you to sub with a lot of veggie options which is nice. Nice size portion of shrimp and they were the "larger" kind. The only thing was they were very skimpy on the zucchini and there was a little more Parmesan cheese for my taste. Definitely full of lemon flavor. Would definitely order again.

Extremely poor delivery service. Not really worth the cost either. Prices way too high for what you get.

The bread that was served was spicy and orange ( not traditional) - we had just returned 2 days earlier from a European trip and at no time received bread like this at our table. I wish I had been warned about the bread by the server because I can't tolerate spicy foods. It's ok that the menu had changed- my favorite lobster dish was gone. And the wine that we ordered was not available ( it was as explained that a new wine list was being printed- so to taste the wine from DOURA valley again was not going to be possible ). Our meals were good mine was the fried shrimp and my husband's was pasta and sausage - he commented that he would have like a little less sauce and more pasta ( being Italian he likes pasta and I noticed that there was only a bit on the plate) I had told the server that we were celebrating our anniversary- after dinner she came out with a tray of desserts and said we would like you to have a dessert to celebrate your anniversary. So we picked on to share and asked for a cup of coffee. We mentioned that was a nice gesture for the restaurant. We discovered later that it was not a gesture at all. The dessert was added to our bill. All and all it was a nice evening out. We will go again in about a year or two to look at their new menu and wine list. I am hoping for an improvement. If not. I will need to find another favorite restaurant.

The smaller setting and attentive service create a relaxed, personal experience that works especially well for date nights or quiet meals with friends. Portions Portions are generous and satisfying. Pasta dishes and entrees arrive hearty and filling, often with enough for leftovers. It's comfort-style Italian that doesn't hold back on quantity. Community There's a strong community feel here -- from the welcoming tone of the staff to the loyal local customer base. The restaurant reflects a family-first ethos that shows up in both service style and operating approach. Pro tip: Check the hours before you go. They keep limited days and times -- mostly late lunch and dinner service -- which reflects their family values and operating philosophy.

The dishes were all well-prepared, even if the buffet isn't huge. And actually, there was a chicken in cream sauce that was ultra ultra delish. But I understand that Fratelli's rotates dishes in their buffet, so the chicken dish may or may not be in future buffets. The buffet included your typical waffle station. FOOD! We were up for the challenge. There's fresh rolls on the table and the first course is two salads, the Caesar and the Maggianos. Next is your choice of two appetizers. We chose the meatballs (6 large ones) and the calamari fritte. The meatballs are delicious, a little "bready" but still large and good.
