I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee.

There are cozy chairs and couch with tables. There is a lot of natural light that just adds to the warmth. The 2 young adult baristas were so sweet and helpful. I hung out by the community board checking to see what is happening around and she brought me my drink with a smile. Overall it was a great experience and so welcoming. The hot chocolate was awesome, too. I look forward to being back to try some of their fall drinks that are now out.

Apparently at one time they had bakery items, maybe they were sold out by the time my friend and I arrived (9:30ish on a Friday)? I'm not sure but a bakery items, especially if homemade would have made this a five star review. I always try to support small business owners and local shops and this is no exception! But when I got there, the doors were locked, lights were on, keys in the door, and someone was clearly in the back. It's obvious they just closed early without any notice. If you're going to close up early, at least put up a sign or update your hours online -- super simple. Now I'm taking my business to Cafecito Lounge instead. This place is nestled between Papapavlos and First Toast and they all share the outdoor seating space. By 10am it started to fill up. My friend and I both wanted a latte as we saw some cute pics on Yelp of their coffee art. I would say that I was disappointed, however both girls told us they were practicing so I figured why not. We asked for cups but they gave it to us in a to go cup with a lid...no point in coffee art if it's going to be covered up lol. After I took off the lid I understood why LOL. At least she warned us and tried. The coffee itself was pretty good, nothing that stood out though. It's a cute shop, with a minimalist/nature feel inside...real cozy. I recently had the privilege of driving through Lodi on a road trip up the center of California. A quick Yelp search told me that Ruby's Bakery was the bee's knees. This cafe has everything I'm looking for: deliciously crafted baked goods, a loaded breakfast menu, and beverages for every mood. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with spinach and mushroom and a green juice. I also got one of their sugar buns to snack on throughout the drive. Their breakfast sammie was delicious and filling, the perfect road-trip meal. My only suggestion would be to add a few additional substitutes for those of us who don't eat bacon. I devoured the green juice in minutes. This is a must-order for my next visit.

The room is large, comfortable and the ambiance is rustic country. I got two Butter Croissants and two Jalapeño Cheddar Scones for me and the husband. Both were excellent, delicious, and quite large.
