So disappointed. My office is across a street from nero. I usually work from home but when in a office we would go for an afternoon treat. It ruined my day. To start i inly have 30 min for a break. We walk in and it's pretty empty. We asked for 6 cannolis it took 5 min to put those in a box and she dropped one. Which is ok things happen. Then we ask for piece of tiramisu cake which was last one they had. Another 5 min and she didnt tell us it was stale and hard. They must know how long they have product and when to discard it vs sell to customers. We learned cake was not eatable 5 min later so it couldn't gone bad since we got it. To top it we ordered 2 frappes which took her 20 min to make and it came out as iced coffee and there was HAIR in our coffees. Will never go back and tell everyone. At least there are tons of places at Fort Point nowdays. read more

I go there for coffee and cake (limonchelo mascarpone is my favourite) whenever I have time to relax and enjoy unique friendly atmosphere, music, books, soft chat with other customers and employees. Just ordered the prosciutto sandwich on baguette. Perhaps should have specified "prosciutti" to get more than one slice of prosciutto on the whole baguette. Halfway through I found it so offensive I had to take a picture and post a review to warn others. First and last time I'll order a sandwich here. $9 for this? What a joke. Drinks here are fine, and baked goods look appealing, but as for anything more substantial like a sandwich, one and done - won't ever make this mistake again. read more

We walked to Flour in a Sunday before it opened and completely panicked, but decided to try this spot as we walked by. I'm so happy we did, because Dunkin would not have cut it. 5 stars for the baked goods, 3 for the coffee (cold brew, so maybe other varieties are better). I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality here, and the environment is perfect. The inside space is large but comfortable and quiet. The outside tables have a European vibe, as does the menu. Awesome pleasant workers, the food was also pretty awesome, nice interior with a huge selection. The panini press makes their display sandwiches amazing. Nice quick and convenient. 4 stars because the espresso machine they have is incredible but isn't used properly, it was a little too waterred down and not good real espresso. Stopped in here on a whim after having a late lunch at Sportello and it was love at first sight! The baristas are the sweetest and the inside is so dreamy. Definitely my favorite coffee shop that I have visited. I got a dirty chai and it was hands down the BEST chai that I have ever had. This place is fantastic. The iced latte was delicious and they were so sweet to my children while they ordered a snack. They even tossed in an extra cookie that was a little broken and the kids were thrilled. I snuck a bite and it was so good I wanted to buy them all. We're in town for husband's business. The atmosphere is wonderful. The interior is rough-wood finish and wrought iron. The shop is a corner storefront, so that the ambient light is great. I've enjoyed the latte, although it was a little light in flavor. I ordered the regular coffee this morning. Again, the flavor and strength was lighter. I prefer a bolder coffee. I live about five minutes away from their first Downtown location but I'd gladly walk an extra 20 minutes to this one, even in the scorching heat. There's more seating and less noise, which makes it a great place for working and reading. No more juggling your food and drinks and awkwardly look around for an open seat. Perfect. Two things stand out about this place: bad coffee and bad service. Even though there is a lot of seating area, it's really not worth it to spend $ here. Chai was mild and creamy. My friend said her coffee was excellent and flavorful. Inside is cozy with lots of seating and great rustic ambiance, like an old library that was remodeled to be a coffee shop. Lots of interesting drinks and the food looks great but we didn't try any.
