My boyfriend and I stopped in while waiting for our bus that was departing from South Station. I had a peppermint tea and veggie frittata sandwich, and he had an americano and chicken caprese sandwich. The sandwiches, I believe, are made at another location, so they aren't overly fresh and the supply is variable. I actually wanted the roasted veggie sandwich, but they were out. We both enjoyed our meals, but the space and ambiance was really what earned Caffe Nero the 4 star rating. It's a great, cozy spot for reading or studying, with lots of comfy chairs and booths. Caffe Nero does offer free wifi, but only for 3 hours per device. I'd highly recommend this spot for a coffee and/or dessert date or study session, but I'd recommend another spot in the neighborhood for lunch. read more

This place has that feel, but also adds the American "hang out for a while" chill vibe that was given to us by our drizzly Seattle friends. If we lived here we would go to caffe Nero daily. Probably the best atmosphere for working or relaxing that I've seen in the city yet. Plenty of seating, WiFi, outlets, quiet music, comfortable chairs, all in a library-esque scene. A nice place to stop by and have a cuppa if you're out and about. Stopped by this location on a cold and drizzly day whilst out exploring. Great ambience...and coffee! There are books displayed on an expanse of bookshelves for your reading and just to relax and let time pass with a hot cup of coffee, espresso, or whatever your flavor of the day is. Nicely appointed with wood flooring and wainscot, and the exterior brickwork extends into the interior, bringing that Boston architecture indoors. The entire coffee shop is set a few feet below the street/sidewalk level, as you walk a few wooden stairs down into the shop, giving a feeling that you're nestled into a coffee den haha. I love this place - the staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere is a combination of professional and chill. I work nearby, and it's nice to come here, have a green tea/coffee and work from one of the many comfortable chairs/couches they have. They also have fireside seating, which is amazing when it's cold out. They don't care how long you stay, and I've never felt pressured to leave. I haven't tried much of the food they offer, but what I have had has been really good, especially the quinoa/kale cup they offer. read more

Love! Super excited to see more Caffè Neros popping up. Smooth cold brew and yummy caprese sandwich (bit pricy for a small sandwich -- 7.25$). Here on a Sunday afternoon and had no problems finding a seat though I fully expect this place to blow up as word gets out! Great vibe, tons of seating (Bonus: Outdoor seating perfect for summer), friendly staff, and free Wifi for three hours. Only downside is the outlet situation. Apparently the hours that they list on their door and their website are theoretical/guidance/not really what they do. Showed up at 7:30 am on a Wednesday and they're still closed with no explanation. I really love the atmosphere and the variety of food and drinks. However, I feel a little disappointed in the lack of warmth from the staff vs. seeing staff positively interact with each other. Honestly, that doesn't normally annoy me since I understand us customers can be annoying. The reason I'm rating this experience a 3 out of 5 stars is more related to the misinformation I received. I asked if matcha has a lot of caffeine and was told matcha does not have any caffeine. I drank my matcha smoothie and later looked up to verify if matcha has caffeine because I don't drink caffeine right now due to health restrictions and felt a little more alert. Sure enough, it can have about half the caffeine as a cup of coffee. I would not have ordered this if I had been told accurate information. I'd rather keep my health private and I obviously am responsible for verifying things but I'm really careful about my current dietary restrictions and this feels ... not okay. read more

I've been working around the fort point area for two years now and I never stepped foot into Caffe Nero until now. Man, have I been missing out! It's such cute place. It's pretty big yet has a lot of little nooks that makes it feel cozy. It's nice coming here when I need a break from the office. There's also free 3 hour wifi which is a HUGE plus. The staff was so nice and inviting right when I walked in. The coffee was superb. The staff knows their Sh*t. There are a few fireplaces in there as well which is so cute. I would highly recommend coming here if you want to study or need a new change from the old starbucks down the street. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance. read more

This place is a big scam. $8.50 for a sandwich with dry prosciutto and nothing else and a mozzarella sandwich with 3 small pieces of mozzarella not even trying to fill the sandwich how can they get away with this? Don't go there! Go to Flour around the corner for a decent sandwich. Or Bucco Trattoria on Summer street good food for the same price. I love this place. Maybe it is the concept of caffe Nero or maybe it is just that specific place... There are books everywhere. Books in every language. Mainly old vintage books. Lots of boot seating and unlike Starbucks, lots of comfy seating. Their cappuccino is damn good, same for hot cocoa and regular coffee. They have a wide selection of sandwiches and pastries. If you eat in, you drink in real cups ... and they are clean, which is not always the case in nearby coffeeshops. This is a nice place to just chill out, relax, read a book, work, warm up etc. It is big enough so it Does not feel crowded. My only recommendation is to speed up a little the service. It can take up to 6-10 minutes to prepare three hot drinks. It is fine but if you are in a rush, it might be better to ask for a fast service. I tried the french breton pastry and it was Good but not exceptional. I will go back for sure, with or without a book. read more

This is a British chain, now expanding in the US. Nice place to work and hang out. Love the facility, the coffee is subpar however and that unfortunately kills my rating. The coffee machine probably does not get cleaned properly, at least the espresso taste suggested that. read more

Great cafe in fort point. couple improvement opportunities: not a fan of the more upright/smaller chairs. The larger wider ones are definitely best and all of them would be awesome if like that. Coffee is great and pastries too - love the muffins, croissants and baguette sandwiches. Need to address the door/entrance - this is boston and in winter its cold - the door opens every 2 seconds and lets in burst of cold air. add an entry way like most smart cafes/restaurants in town. this is a no-brainer for venues in boston - cant expect people to sit at tables next to door and have a great experience when they get artic air every 5 seconds! and i'm sure it's not helping your heating bill. also there is one barista that is particularly loud - can hear him from the furthest corner of cafe (even with music) - not what I'm looking to hear when I come for relaxing cup of coffee with a friend. I'm sure you know who this is so suggest pulling him aside as he's otherwise very friendly, just gotta keep voice down like 10 notches. also i'd add music in bathrooms - nice touch. And train your baristas on how to add foam art to lattes/cappucinos - easy to train and makes experience 100x better (and you'll get more ig tags!). and finally make sure all seating areas have an outlet to plugin within reach (as of now many do not) - cheap to add more outlets so why not do this?? cheers read more
