What a very nice coffee house in Providence, RI! I spotted the little gem from my hotel window and decided to give it a shot. So glad I did! The cappuccino was delicious and so was the chicken salad croissant! The two gentlemen behind the counter were extremely nice. They served each customer with a genuine smile and hello. Dang...I forgot to ask if they were the owners. I ate outside but the interior is very inviting. Pretty chic in my opinion! I can imagine sitting inside in the evening sipping coffee and listening to good music. Don't know if they are open in the evenings but a guy can dream, right?! . If ever in downtown Providence area, check out Caffe Nero! Kudos!

Needed a spot to work for a few minutes with WiFi and coffee. Stopped here near downtown Providence. Coffee is delicious and the food is too. I got the ham and cheese baguette with a Classico cup of brewed coffee. I think I'll try the cold brew tomorrow. Great spot for a quick and easy breakfast. The staff was really fast, kind, and helpful. Would recommend.

Caffe Nero is directly across from the Omni as you head toward downtown "Downcity" Providence. We stopped here three times, and dined here twice. When this place isn't too busy, it's excellent. I ordered a warm ham & cheese croissant which was tasty and on the third visit I enjoyed a warm ham and cheese baguette. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was simple but tasty. So what happened on the 2nd visit? We just stood in line and didn't move for almost ten minutes. They were processing many phone orders and couldn't keep up. So we left and headed elsewhere on that visit. Overall, as long as their not too busy, I'd be happy to grab a quick bite here.

We wanted something quick to eat before heading out and decided to come to this cafe.café. It has a nice rustic book decor and feeling. There was a line close to rhe door when we got there. We waited about 15 minutes but it was worth it. The service was great!! We ordered the lemon coconut frappe which was perfect blend and none of the flavors overshadowed the other. The strawberry watermelon refresher is a must to get! The butter crumb cake was nice and dense. Also, huge! The pistachio muffin and the raspberry muffin had great flavors and wasn't too much. The next time we visit Providence, this place will be a must to go to!

A really cool coffee shop. Stopped in for a latte and bagel. I had the everything bagel and my girlfriend had a croissant. It was a great start to the day. They also had different types of danishes and cakes. If you want a breakfast sandwich they have that as well. The coffee shop was really nice with various types of seating areas (tables, comfortable chairs and high top chairs). I really enjoyed this spot.

I stopped by the coffee shop because it was near the convention center in RI, and it opened at 6:30, which was good for me, since I drove from Boston in the early morning and needed a cup of coffee so much! I ordered a hot drip coffee with extra half-and-half and pistachio muffins. Both were so delicious! The coffee had a citrusy flavor. It might be hard to find a parking space, as it is located on a busy street, but it is a good place to get on wifi and have a good coffee.

The space here is really nice -- huge, with lots of seating and little corners where you don't feel crowded. Great spot to get some work done or just hang out. The line was long even in the middle of the day, and while the staff was friendly, they seemed a bit understaffed. I ordered a caramel latte, but it came out more like a cappuccino with way too much foam (though the foam itself was tasty and creamy). They do source their milk and coffee thoughtfully, which is a plus, and there's a good variety of food options. Overall, the ambience was the highlight (4 stars), while the coffee itself was just okay (3 stars). A nice experience, but not a standout.

Stopped in for some afternoon coffee and sweets. Not disappointed. We sampled tiramisu, cinnamon bun and chocolate cake. The tiramisu was one of the best Jess has had. Light and full of flavor. Cinnamon bun had awesome icing, but likely was better freshly baked. The cake was rich and chocolatey, but a bit dry. I had cold brew with cold foam and it was excellent. Strong, but not bitter at all. Jess had latte, her favorite and liked it. Cute place, great service from Tolani. Her work partner seemed a bit controlling, so glad we had her serving us.

I came back to Caffè Nero for their Iced Strawberry and Vanilla Matcha. I really liked their matcha, but the strawberry preserves were a bit too sweet. Either way, it was a very refreshing drink. I also got the Butter Crumb Cake and this was very moist and smooth. Staff are always friendly and there are always plenty of seating inside and outside. Caffè Nero remains a great spot to kick off your morning or recharge midday.

Came in from AZ for 4 days & stayed at the Omni Hotel so I decided to walk across the street to check this Café place out. The place was a clean & quaint place to meet up with friends & have a large selection of drinks & baked goodies to suit anyone. I ordered an Italian Ciabatta (which they heated & sent it to space), a Butter Crumb Cake & a fruit smoothie of sorts (Opted out of Energy & Protein) & all were very delicious. The gentleman with a beard that appeared to be training a new-hire lady, was very prompt in taking my order, came off as a professional in what he does but still remained kind & made me feel that my business was valued. After he took my order, I also felt he had it all under control & he did. I would recommend this place to anyone staying near the area of the Omni Hotel.

Caffe Nero is a staple in the neighborhood! The drinks and snacks are very good! I don't personally like the chai latte here, and since that is my go-to drink at a coffee shop, I rated Nero a 4. I tried a new snack today, their raspberry croissant muffin, which was delicious! I like that the space is very large and has plenty of seating. There's a mix of small tables, large tables, high tops, and armchairs. I love the mix of seating that can serve a bunch of purposes! The staff are usually very friendly. However, it isn't always the quickest service. If the line is long, it sometimes takes a while for the staff to make drinks and heat up food to get through the line quickly. The line is rarely that long though, so it's still worth a visit!

It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

I like the branding, brightness of the cafe, and the fact that there's a decent amount of seating. I got the Iced French Vanilla Espresso Latte + Espresso Teddy which was well-made, bold, and enjoyable. I think the Espresso Teddy is actually made with cold brew and not espresso which I expected given the name and would have preferred. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the slow melt and the boost of caffeine I got as I kept sipping. And it's super cute! The Iced Mont Blanc was also a good try; the sweet orange flavor was subtle and surprisingly enjoyable adding a bright taste to each sip. If I'm ever back in Providence, I would totally come back and maybe try their matcha drinks.

It was my first time here and we luckily arrived before the lines got long (9am on a Sunday). I'm a sucker for banana so naturally I got the Iced Caramelized Banana Latte. Let me just say, they nailed it! It's fresh banana, sweetness from the caramelized taste but not overpowering, and such a great sweetener to balance out the espresso. The Iced Blueberry Vanilla Bean Float Latte also stood out and is worth a try. The blueberry, again, tasted very real and you can tell they make all their syrups in-house. Same with the vanilla bean float which is basically a vanilla cold foam on top which added some sweetness and creaminess to the drink. Honestly, both were good tries and I totally see why this spot is so popular. Worth a try!

First, the young woman who took care of us seemed to keep 'checking out', as in, she seemed to temporarily fall asleep with her eyes open. She would become non-responsive and we'd just wait for her to acknowledge us and then repeat what we said. So that's weird. Even after she said 'OK' and went over to the register to ring it all in, we had to repeat the order, again. The Americano coffee was not made correctly. It literally tasted like dirty water. Definitely did not use the appropriate amount of espresso in this drink. The Mocha was not blended correctly and was grainy with a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup. I was unable to finish drinking that. The friends we met up with mentioned they are surprised how many tables were open on a Saturday. In the past there was 'always a line' of people ordering and waiting for a table. During our visit there were several empty tables. The pastry were very tasty though, so that was nice. They do have a nice selection of pastry available and we might try some more of those offerings another time. The ambiance is very cute. Bus your own tables. On street parking.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

There is a parking lot in the back, but I was not sure if it was for the café or apartments downstairs, so I just found street parking nearby. The inside gave me Spaniard vibes because of the cream, smooth walls and dark wooden accents. The following were the two things that instantly caught my attention when I walked in: They have merchandise on display for sale and it seems like high quality material and they had a vehicle made of croissants on display, maybe about 1.5 ft x 1 ft x 6 inches. They have their pastries on display which helps visualize what you're getting before buying it. They are unique and big in size. Their drink menu is good and includes a mix of teas (including matcha) and coffee. I went with the bee latte which was supposed to have honey, cardamom, and cayenne. I was interested in seeing how sweet, herbal/minty, and spicy would taste together. I was also [easily] self-convinced into getting a Za'atar croissant. After our order came out, we walked outside and sat at their patio area which has about 5-6 tables enough for two people each. The latte was good. I appreciated how it was not sweet, but I did think the cardamom was too subtle. It seemed like the cayenne was powder just sprinkled on top and I might've inhaled half of it on my first sip, so I was dying a bit. The Za'atar croissant was given to us in a brown paper box with the outside of their building drawn onto it. Since we asked for it toasted, it was warm and extra crispy/flaky on top. It was flat (about 1 inch thick) and about 6 inches in diameter, so big enough to share if you're just interested in a light snack. The inside of every swirl was packed with olive oil, middle eastern herbs, and lots of sesame seeds. Although it may take away from the traditional flavors and way of eating it, I wish it came with something to dip it into like whipped cream cheese or smashed olives. Nonetheless, it was delicious. On weekends, they have a laptop free policy which I think it good to allow for more people to enjoy, rather than people taking up tables for a while to do work.

She dropped one of the knives on the table and then proceed to drop the sharing plate into the plate of red sauce that the muscles were in which splashed my face and get over my white tank top.
