Got two bagels: bacon, egg, and cheese and Lox both with the everything bagel. For the drink, got a dirty chai latte. Was in North Beach walking around and found this little cafe on the corner and decided to get a cup of joe!!! When I walked in was greeted by a gentleman behind the counter, not sure he's the owner of not, he was pleasant. They were a little busy and the cafe was 75% full. I got a vanilla latte, which tasted great, not too sweet. Perfectly made. They have a few options on breakfast pastries and bagels sandwiches. Almost everyone in there had a bagel sandwich, must be good. I will have to try when I'm in the area next time. There are some historic photos on the wall, I thought that's pretty cool. read more

I was looking for a coffee place close to the restaurant I was to have dinner at. I found the business on Yelp and decided to grab a caramel macchiato (hot) and a cold brew while we waited for our dinner reservation. The drink was exactly what I needed, a quick pick me up, the balance between coffee and milk was perfect. The cold brew was just as you'd expect as well, very smooth and no harsh bitter aftertaste. The exterior has a red banner so it's easy to spot several blocks away. It's right across the street from the laundromat. The patrons were either students, or people waiting for their laundry. The cafe inside is quite small but ample seating inside and outside. Overall great spot for coffee! read more

This little spot is deceiving.. doesn't look like much from the outside, but this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in years (no exaggeration). I ordered the turkey avo BLT but with no bacon (don't judge), and an Americano that tasted great. Staff was so kind, and while the food and coffee took a while, it was definitely worth it. I ended up working here for a couple hours and because it's a smaller spot, noise level was fine and everyone was respectful of those working. Great wifi too!! Highly recommend!! read more

That's fine if you don't allow outside food but I was very disrespected by the someone working here not sure it if was the owner I'm pretty sure it was. Has that guy ever heard of the concept of asking nicely? I was happy to comply with his no food policy but the guy got so mad at me it was ridiculous. 0 customer service here. 0 hospitality. A sweet little gem of a cafe was exactly what we needed after walking through a sea of chains for breakfast. Located on a corner in a quiet neighborhood, it gave "locals love this place" vibes that made me want to stay awhile. Alas I had 2 loud teens with me that would have disrupted the quiet morning crowd so we got our breakfast to go(this had been the plan anyways). Our group ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels(needed cream cheese but that's the consumers fault for not reading the menu carefully, otherwise each element was yummy, especially the bagel) and 2 avocado toasts( delicious, even had a drizzle of olive oil, tasted like mine at home, and that's hard to beat).
