Cute cafe, great place to work as there is plenty of seating. I was confused how to order at first. I stood for a while at the counter without any assistance before I figured out there was a screen to order. Good menu is a little limited, but have a few breakfast sandwiches, toasts and lunch sandwiches. I got an iced coffee which was a little underwhelming. Lots of milk when I asked for a dash. The breakfast sandwiches were good, but the biscuit it came on was a little dry. I wouldn't seek this place out for breakfast next time. If you are looking for a coworking spot though it's great!

I went on a walk around the neighborhood and stumbled on this cute cafe shop. I love the vibrant fig trees near the door making it so welcome. I ordered the yuzu latte with oat milk and it tastes 8/10! Love that yuzu is not over powering :) Service was fast and efficient!

Walked here from our hotel on morning to grab a cup of coffee. What a cute shop! Full of Fiddle Leaf Fig plants and local artist work. The menu was large with different breakfast foods and drink options! I got their seasonal peppermint drink. It was delightful! The perfect balance of peppermint and coffee! They had water cups and a water station so you could grab as needed!

Such a sweet cafe nicely located. We loved the tables outside with potted fiddle plants and more surrounding the patio tables. I enjoyed the best salmon toast cafe I've had before. Salmon was fresh and the toast hearty. My friend had the sardine toast and found it quite tasty. My matcha was made authentically and had a nice creaminess to it. Prices were reasonable. I plan to visit here again next time I'm in the city.

Popped into this cafe for a quick coffee. The baristas were warm and inviting. The service was quick and efficient. The pistachio latte had depth and very smooth. If you're nearby checking out Lombard street walk a little further down and give it a try.

they should rename this shrinkflation cafe because ive never been served a smaller latte in my life. The sandwich was $5 per bite. I mean look its smaller than my phone and I dont even have a pro max.

My favorite go-to cafe to work in! There's a variety of seating options and free wifi. I love their plant and art decor, it's a welcoming space. Their Reuben sandwich is amazing, I get it every time I go. Their strawberry matcha latte is okay but not anything special. The cafe is also right across the street from the North Beach library which is a plus!

I found this place last minute on my last day in SF. It was a quick walk from my hotel and had plenty of seating once I got there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I liked all the plants decorated in the cafe. I ordered the mocha which had Ghirardelli chocolate in it. It was very delicious! My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and flat white. He said they were great! It had a nice bathroom to use and normally I'd talk about the parking but we walked so I don't have much to say regarding that!

Fiddle Fig Cafe has a warm, cozy vibe with lush greenery filling every corner. I loved the shelf of plants available for purchase. I tried a cortado with oat milk, which was solid, and an avocado toast that was just okay. Overall, it's a lovely spot to unwind with a coffee or get some work done in a peaceful setting.

Latte with lavender syrup and Avocado Toast

Went on a crowded Saturday morning but luckily they have lots of seating! Our orders took a little while, but given that they were very busy it made sense. Drinks ordered: hot Lavender latte (6/10): nothing special but nothing bad either. I tasted the lavender syrup, but it wasn't overwhelming or strong. hot Matcha Latte (2/10 not pictured): extremely watered down. If you like matcha, don't get it here. Food Ordered: Avocado Toast (7/10): a very solid and basic avocado toast with no frills. It was definitely something I could make at home and tasted like something I would make at home. Nothing to rave about, but not bad either. Overnight Oats w/ honey & blueberries (6/10 not pictured): a bit more watery than I like but tasted good. Another item that tasted like I could easily make it at home. Decent portion size. I would definitely return but more for the vibe since it's a great place to do some work or chat with friends.

Super cute corner coffee shop before you head to Lombard Street. It's full of fiddle fig plants and others inside. It's cute and cozy and seems like a good place for meetings, work, or just sip and sit. I got the pumpkin chai latte iced and it did not disappoint. To eat I got the croissant sandwich and it was delicious. Little on the small side but no fault to the shop. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food and drinks came out pretty fast. I went on a Monday morning so not sure how busy on weekends it can get but work a visit.

Came here with a group of friends after a run club! Good: - Lots of cute seating, nice plant ambiance - The staff are really nice - The acai bowl was incredibly unique, I liked how it contained a more ice cream texture of acai and lots of fruit - The salmon breakfast sandwich had a lot of ingredients and it was super tasty Bad: - Wait times were crazy, took about 45 min for my acai bowl to be ready, and they didn't take orders by numbers Overall I feel glad that I came, but would not come again until the wait times improve.

Very cute cafe just diagonally across from the Joe DiMaggio playground. Bright happy cafe seating area, excellent lattes. The music was a little manic for 8am, so I got my coffee to go.

I remember how much I liked it. It is a tiny hole in the wall, easily found by smelling the wonderful aromas. If I worked downtown, this would definitely be my go to spot. I ordered 2 meals, each had 2 pieces of chicken, rice, beans and I think cabbage. Wonderfully flavored and enough to share. It felt healthy to me, none of this unnecessary goop. ***3.5 Star**…read more JinShan Cafe is located in Chinatown, and like many mom-and-pop shops, it seems they've expanded their menu beyond drinks to help keep the business going. Sometimes that kind of expansion can end up diluting the quality or taste of the beverages. While exploring Chinatown, I noticed a couple of signs posted around the corner pointing people toward JinShan Cafe, so I decided to stop by and support the business. Inside, they sell various knickknacks, and the décor feels a bit random with different items put together throughout the space. The owner/barista works behind a plexiglass barrier near the counter. I ordered the Vanilla Latte, which was good, along with the Black Sesame Latte. I should know by now that black sesame drinks can sometimes be disappointing, but I keep giving that flavor a chance. An older gentleman behind the counter took my order for a small latte and was friendly and helpful in getting me situated. The latte was good, although a bit pricier than I expected at just over $7 with tax. The café itself is small but comfortable, with a handful of tables along the wall and some interesting artwork that gives the space a little character. While sipping my coffee, I noticed they also serve ice cream, and flavors like Red Bean and Black Sesame definitely caught my attention. I managed to resist the temptation this time. A group of students and teachers arrived shortly afterward, making the café a bit livelier, so I finished my latte and headed out. Overall, it was a pleasant place to take a break in Chinatown.

Today I thought I'd give J&J another chance. 8 months to read citicisms and get its act together. SERVICE: JOE & THE JUICE gained a bad reputation in the Bay Area pre-covid for flagrantly disregarding city law that prohibits retail businesses from going strictly cashless. For good reason: Refusing paper and coin currency is defacto segregation against Black and Brown folks and the working poor and those on a fixed income who are more likely to be restricted to cash transactions. This is an unjust policy, refusing to take "certain people's " money and in my book equals BAD SERVICE. FOOD & BEVERAGES: Upon my return to the large JOE & THE JUICE location in San Francisco's Financial District - which I used to frequent most days of the week for years before the boycott - I ordered my signature drink, Americano + extra shot of espresso with milk. Now although J&J is wildly overpriced compared to other espresso bars and snack joints, the Danish (J&J is a Denmark import and not locally owned, so maybe they don't understand how we do here in the USA) ownership refuses to provide the paying customer options between 1/2&1/2, Whole Milk, 4% Milk, etc. It carries only 2% milk which is just above lightly flavored water. I always have 1/2&1/2 with my cofffee but not at J&J, despite the high prices customers pay. I used to stock this location myself with 1/2&1/2 out of my own pocket from the Walgreens across the street, which a customer shouldn't have to do. BEVERAGES: Well my Americano, honestly, was awful. Tasted like dirty dish water. Old stale coffee bean flavor only slightly diluted luke warm water. BAD PRODUCT. SERVICE: It appears JOE & THE JUICE ownership and management are back to their old tricks again refusing cash payment. I told the manager it's city law thay accept cash payment - payment equality - and he conceded he knew this is the law. I was given the excuse the cash register just happened to be broken and they were waiting repairs, but trust me as one who knows J&J very well this is just BS: they're told to tell customers or city inspectors this and cynically keep going on with their segregationist policy. BAD. BAD. BAD SERIVICE!
