Came to Cafe Europa for a late bite on Valentine's Day and it absolutely lived up to the occasion. I ordered my favorite items -- the best espresso martini and their chicken francese. The chicken is lightly coated in the most delicate egg batter, and the lemon sauce is incredibly flavorful and perfectly reduced. My friend got the tortellini and everyone loved it. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp pasta dish that was also tasty. For dessert, I had the tiramisu -- it was very good, though I personally prefer it a little more alcohol-forward. The staff was wonderful and attentive, which made the evening even better. Definitely one of the best (and oldest!) spots on Las Olas. A Las Olas classic that never misses.

Caffe Europa transported me to Italy. I was walking with my family and we wanted something delicious without having to wait to be seated. We walked across cafe Europa and decided to give it a try. I loved the decorations inside the restaurant. It has fantastic pictures of iconic places in Italy. Our waiter was also very friendly. He was prompt at getting our order and making sure we were enjoying our experience. The food was amazing. I'm still thinking of the pomodoro pasta and burrata appetizer. Everything was fresh and delicious. But one once of crumbs were left. Definitely recommend the key lime pie for dessert. It had the perfect balance of tart and sweet.

This is my favorite ever Italian restaurant. Everytime my family comes here it feels like coming home. Not only is the food phenomenal: their veal is so tender and delicious and their sauce is flavorful and amazing, but the service is great and makes you feel so special. They have a great wine selection too and the baby amarone is my favorite. The ambiance is beautiful and I would highly recommend dining here and getting their pistachio cannoli for desert.

My first visit to Cafe Europa. Four of us had dinner on a Monday and I was impressed at the crowd. By 7pm almost every table inside was taken and the bar was full. Europa has a dedicated and faithful following. I ordered the Carpricciosa pizza ( ham, artichoke hearts, green olives, mushrooms, plum tomato sauce and mozzarella). The crust was extra thin and crispy. The pizza was hot and scrumptious. The green olives add a nice salty flavor to the pie. It had the perfect amount of tomato sauce. 10/10. My partner ordered the Las Olas pizza. He loved his as well. Our guests each ordered pasta. One had penne alla vodka and the other had a tortellini special. It was a grand slam - everybody loved their dish. This place does Italian food right! I plan to return for lunch and try a pasta and give a further review. The bar looks like they make a mean dry martini. I shall return soon!

I was pretty impressed with this place. I have always been curious about eating here and finally was able to give it a shot. We really enjoyed ourselves, eating outside on the patio. The service was pretty decide and the food was even better. The bread was top notch. We really enjoyed their pizza and branzino. Another benefit of course was that they cook without using any types of seed oils. The food came out pretty fast and we were treated so well by staff. This place is now on our list as a regular must stop!

We love Caffe Europa as this is a very special place. We have been coming here since they opened in the 1990's. Years ago, we come for a cappuccino and espresso and pastries and sit in the patio on a nice afternoon. Then we started to dine here for dinner when we moved closer to Las Olas. It has become one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area! The atmosphere is cozy yet lively. Located in the heart of Las Olas Boulevard where you can park behind the restaurant unless you get lucky with spot out front. I love the bread they place on the table immediately after you're seated. Freshly made and some small squares with sauce = delicious! Some of our favorite dishes are the calamari, rapini and sausage, caprese, rigatoni bolognese, lasagna bolognese, spaghetti vongole, chicken and veal Milanese, tortellini panna, eggplant parmigiana, pasta alla vodka! Desserts are homemade and incredible. I have learned to view the pastry dessert display window to help in my decision. My favorite is the blueberry tarts! Highly recommend and promise you will be satisfied and want to return again! Mangia!

During our Las Olas Pub Crawl we needed a pick me up and walked in and sat at the bar met with the fabulous barista Rafael. We ordered an Italian Expresso for $4.00 which was presented well with a side almond biscuit on a tiny spoon and it was perfect. Great strong Italian atmospere with a beautiful liquor and cafe bar. The pizza ovens were working in overtime for sure. Big Big menu. The bathroom is clean too.

On Wednesdays, the restaurant offers 50% off wine after 7 p.m. Although the food and wine prices are somewhat high, the Spicy Hawaiian pizza was excellent and worth it. Free parking behind the plaza is another convenient perk. Overall, it's a great spot for happy hour, family gatherings, or a delicious pizza with friends.

I'm often the person my group relies on to choose restaurants, so I was genuinely excited to have our group meet here based on my past experiences and what I thought would be a great atmosphere for watching a game. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning, as the interaction with management completely overshadowed everything else. I organized a reservation for a party of 10 after learning that an industry colleague was planning corporate group outings at the restaurant. The restaurant also heavily promotes itself as a destination for watching sporting events and accommodating large groups, which made it feel like a perfect fit. I made the reservation several days in advance and received both email and text confirmations, including a separate text from a manager confirming our party of 10. One member of our group arrived early with a few friends and began ordering food and drinks while waiting for the rest of the party. They also asked if our tables could be seated near each other once everyone arrived. It was at that point that the situation began to deteriorate. The manager insisted there was no reservation for 10 people and claimed the system only showed five, despite the confirmations we had on hand. Another member of our group who also had a reservation for 10 attempted to clarify this but was told by the general manager that he "didn't care what the confirmations showed" and that he had the final say. When several members of our group called the restaurant to try to resolve the issue--since we were actively arranging Ubers and wanted to clarify before heading over--the conversation became increasingly confrontational. Instead of attempting to understand the discrepancy or offer any solution, the same dismissive tone continued. I also called myself in an effort to de-escalate, but was met with an unprofessional and condescending response, with the manager stating he was not going to tolerate our party's behavior and abruptly saying, "I just cancelled your reservation." Having worked in and around the restaurant industry and growing up with a father who was a chef and restaurant owner, I understand that mistakes happen and systems aren't perfect. I've also worked in multiple roles within the industry, so I'm familiar with how these situations are typically handled, and I've never encountered that level of hostility directed at guests over a reservation issue. What I don't understand is meeting paying customers with hostility instead of professionalism. A simple willingness to investigate or problem-solve could have completely changed the outcome. Since we were unable to have a productive conversation with the manager, the friends who were already seated left. The rest of us Ubered to meet them elsewhere, and our group ultimately spent the rest of the evening, and our business, somewhere else instead. It's especially disappointing because the food has always been good, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Customer service starts at the top, and unfortunately, the interaction with management overshadowed everything else. I sincerely hope ownership takes this feedback seriously, as the restaurant clearly has potential. Based on this experience, and reflecting concerns others have raised as well, I can't recommend it for large group reservations.

With kid's portion penne Alfredo (I wanted to try their pasta), avocado salad, and calamari appetizer. Both pizzas were very good, I strongly recommend it to everyone. Their pasta is also good, even for the kid's menu the portion was generous and the price fair. The only thing I don't really recommend is the avocado salad. Yes we were a party of three so we finished most of the salad but the flavor just wasn't there and the texture was off for me too. The avocado is mushy and discolored, and I personally prefer the sliced or diced avocados for avocado salad. The parking is limited so get there early or on a slower day. I think I would recommend this place to others and be back again in the future.

We walk over, sit down and ask what the lunch specials are and the waitress says they don't have any. When we told her we had called she said well the only special is the personal 8" pizza with up to 3 toppings. Then she says there is a lunch size house or cesar salad. There are no lunch prices listed anywhere. When we ask her for the prices, she has to look it up on her handheld ordering machine. She says the salads are $7.95 and the pizzas are $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. We each order a lunch salad and a personal pizza with up to 3 toppings. Salad was a good size. Pizza was OK. Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. She said she was sorry but didn't offer anything to make it right. I shook my head, laughed and walked out. Total bait and switch. Never going there again.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and many of them speak Italian, which added to the authentic feel of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy, and one of the biggest surprises was the price. It's actually affordable, especially for Fort Lauderdale! Our waiter went through all the wine options for the happy hour and he was really helpful. He even recommended his favorite wines. I started with a glass of the Stemmari Pinot Grigio which was incredibly crisp and refreshing. Then I switched over to the J. Bookwalter "Notebook" red which was a favorite of mines for the rest of the afternoon. It's a blended wine, so it offers a lot of complex flavors. Very lovely. I also love the seating at the bar. They have an open view to the outdoors, so it feels very spacious. The bar isn't overly crowded. It's also nice to see all the wines they offer on tap. For food, we decided to stick to the shared plates so we can enjoy the specials. Starting off with the burrata which was so good!!! The burrata is served on a large piece of ciabatta with tomato & garlic confit and a basil pesto. It was incredible! We also tried the Brussels which were a flavor bomb! I loved the combo of the kung pao vinaigrette that gave it a subtle salty sweetness mixed with a little of the spicy peppers. It was such an amazing combo! And we finished it off with the truffled vineyard fries. These are no regular fries.... These are layered potatoes that are thinly sliced and fried, so the layers get really crispy and make for some yummy truffle fries! It's served with a lemon truffle cream which I loved. I think the cream did a nice job of balancing the heaviness of the fried potato given that it was on the greasy side. I am over the moon with their presentation, service, food and wine options.
