This is my favorite ever Italian restaurant. Everytime my family comes here it feels like coming home. Not only is the food phenomenal: their veal is so tender and delicious and their sauce is flavorful and amazing, but the service is great and makes you feel so special. They have a great wine selection too and the baby amarone is my favorite. The ambiance is beautiful and I would highly recommend dining here and getting their pistachio cannoli for desert.

My first visit to Cafe Europa. Four of us had dinner on a Monday and I was impressed at the crowd. By 7pm almost every table inside was taken and the bar was full. Europa has a dedicated and faithful following. I ordered the Carpricciosa pizza ( ham, artichoke hearts, green olives, mushrooms, plum tomato sauce and mozzarella). The crust was extra thin and crispy. The pizza was hot and scrumptious. The green olives add a nice salty flavor to the pie. It had the perfect amount of tomato sauce. 10/10. My partner ordered the Las Olas pizza. He loved his as well. Our guests each ordered pasta. One had penne alla vodka and the other had a tortellini special. It was a grand slam - everybody loved their dish. This place does Italian food right! I plan to return for lunch and try a pasta and give a further review. The bar looks like they make a mean dry martini. I shall return soon!

I was pretty impressed with this place. I have always been curious about eating here and finally was able to give it a shot. We really enjoyed ourselves, eating outside on the patio. The service was pretty decide and the food was even better. The bread was top notch. We really enjoyed their pizza and branzino. Another benefit of course was that they cook without using any types of seed oils. The food came out pretty fast and we were treated so well by staff. This place is now on our list as a regular must stop!

We love Caffe Europa as this is a very special place. We have been coming here since they opened in the 1990's. Years ago, we come for a cappuccino and espresso and pastries and sit in the patio on a nice afternoon. Then we started to dine here for dinner when we moved closer to Las Olas. It has become one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area! The atmosphere is cozy yet lively. Located in the heart of Las Olas Boulevard where you can park behind the restaurant unless you get lucky with spot out front. I love the bread they place on the table immediately after you're seated. Freshly made and some small squares with sauce = delicious! Some of our favorite dishes are the calamari, rapini and sausage, caprese, rigatoni bolognese, lasagna bolognese, spaghetti vongole, chicken and veal Milanese, tortellini panna, eggplant parmigiana, pasta alla vodka! Desserts are homemade and incredible. I have learned to view the pastry dessert display window to help in my decision. My favorite is the blueberry tarts! Highly recommend and promise you will be satisfied and want to return again! Mangia!

During our Las Olas Pub Crawl we needed a pick me up and walked in and sat at the bar met with the fabulous barista Rafael. We ordered an Italian Expresso for $4.00 which was presented well with a side almond biscuit on a tiny spoon and it was perfect. Great strong Italian atmospere with a beautiful liquor and cafe bar. The pizza ovens were working in overtime for sure. Big Big menu. The bathroom is clean too.

Truly an amazing experience, the service was a 10/10, the staff was sooo attentive and kind! When we sat down they bright over some cheese bread that was like cut up pizza and it was SOOOOOOOOO good, we asked for more and they brought more over no problem! We started w a Caesar salad which was such a great Caesar, very solid! I ordered the whole wheat penne Europa, it was simple but sooo good! And a very yummy whole wheat pasta! My friend had the clams oreganato and she said they were delish, she would rate it a 7.5/10. My other friends got the spaghetti vongole, and they loved it!!! They rated it a 9/10, I cannot wait to come back here!!

We didn't have a reservation, and they had us #2 for bar seating. Cane was our bartender and had our wine to us in less than 2 minutes of asking. We waited about 20 min when a large party left and they were able to offer us a table, restricting us to an 1 and half. That was plenty of time. It was just me and my husband. We started with the arancini balls and they were great. Our server, Shamar was amazing and recommended the calamari and soppressata pizza with hot honey. Everything was AMAZING! Flavors bursting out of each entree.

The staff's vibe is so cool that they should offer Helly Hansen wear to ward off the frostbite. Reservations? Apparently on a Thursday off season are still are a must. The bar, the walk-ins' purgatory, is quite full. You are rather curtly directed there. When you are able to land a seat? You are greeted with pleasant diffidence, by the Asian bartender. Menus? You ask. He points to a cold COVIDesque QR code. There is nothing inviting about a menu on my phone. It's like dine in Uber Eats. We ordered drinks. I ordered a Tomcat Gin old fashioned because I know the gin and I've made them before. Good drink. The one with the strawberry hazelnut etc was just not good. It lacks contrast and depth. Too sweet. Too nutty. The bartender is working right in front of us. My daughter isn't drinking it. Does he ask if our drinks are okay? No. Drink dropped. Rang in. Next thing. I do get him to take our order. The one bit of semi-human contact. We ordered a broccoli rabe pizza. It's a small bar. I wanted hi to fix or replace my daughter's largely unconsumed cocktail. He was so adept at walling off the we, the uninteresting, that even I longed for the despised Ronald Reagan to call for him to "tear down that wall." The runner dropped our pizza. It came in reasonable time. The crust was excellent. The only highlight of the meal. The pizza itself was duller than a Brewers-Marlins game. An ocean of a slimy greasy cheese that was so bland it dragged the whole thing into the same monotony that the drink had. Very little rabe. Even less sausage. No real contrast, texture or flavor. Maybe lobotomic cuisine is the latest hipster trend? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We ate. No check in from the bartender. I actually wanted another drink with dinner. That apparently was not to be, for my enjoyment, his tip, and the restaurant's bottom line. He got around to asking, as he was cleaning up vacated counter seats, if we wanted another drink in that tone that mecánicas servers get when they ask if you want dessert and you're the last table in the restaurant. I told him that I would have loved one earlier if he had asked when we got our food. No apology. I've seen tree sloths more emotional. He was delighted to slap-shake with one of the beautiful people regulars next to us, on their way out. Icing on this ice castle. There's a little bit of parking at the restaurant, and a paid public lot across the street, if disdain and distant service are your fetish. Not that anyone in this kind of setup cares. I won't be back.

This is not your typical Chicago Italian style restaurant. The menu is varied and I was able to find something to order. I am very picky about the Italian food I eat. The Angelo salad was delicious. For my entree, the fettuccine bolognese was just not to my taste. My husband had the Caesar salad which he enjoyed. The sauce on the ravioli was different and, again, not to my taste. There was some confusion on the dessert we ordered, but the correction was quickly made. The restaurant is large but the parking lot is a nightmare. Fortunately we were in an Uber but while waiting to be picked up after we had eaten ~ crazy busy with limited parking spaces. I tried for months to make reservations so be aware you can finally make a reservation about 6 weeks in advance. The restaurant is busy and even offers pick up service and they do have valet parking. I would return and hope they could make a simple butter sauce for my pasta.

The meal began with a complimentary plate of bread, olives, and cheese -- a perfect start. We decided to go big for dinner, and it was absolutely the right choice. The Dover sole special in a French-style preparation was outstanding, and the one-pound thin veal cutlet parmigiana, paired with fresh homemade fettuccine and rich Bolognese sauce, was nothing short of WOW. Dessert took things to another level: the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and an overflowing molten chocolate center was pure indulgence. This place is truly a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale and an absolute must-try.

We could barely have a conversation with others at our table as it was so loud. We came on the weekend and it was busy so if you decide to go, maybe a weekday will be better. Second, the service. Servers were nice enough (when they came around) but you had to hail them down for everything. More water, salt & pepper, dropped utensil, asking about dessert, the final bill. All of these we had to request after waiting quite abit of time. Third, the food. No one can mess up pasta, Can they? Everyone who had a pasta dish complained of them not being cooked enough. This is a family of Italians and Sicilians that know pasta and this place failed. Clams app were undercooked. Meat dishes all were overly salty. Given these 3 main items, we wanted out quickly and didn't chose to have dessert. We didn't get the hype. I always have much higher expectations when a restaurant charges $$$ for their items. But Vitolo failed. There are SOOOOOO MANY GREAT Italian restaurants in the area. We won't be back.
