This restaurant is lovely. Weather permitting, I recommend dining on their outdoor patio. Indoors is a lot of hustle and bustle. Very well staffed. This is not your typical Chicago Italian style restaurant. The menu is varied and I was able to find something to order. I am very picky about the Italian food I eat. The Angelo salad was delicious. For my entree, the fettuccine bolognese was just not to my taste. My husband had the Caesar salad which he enjoyed. The sauce on the ravioli was different and, again, not to my taste. There was some confusion on the dessert we ordered, but the correction was quickly made. The restaurant is large but the parking lot is a nightmare. Fortunately we were in an Uber but while waiting to be picked up after we had eaten ~ crazy busy with limited parking spaces. I tried for months to make reservations so be aware you can finally make a reservation about 6 weeks in advance. The restaurant is busy and even offers pick up service and they do have valet parking. I would return and hope they could make a simple butter sauce for my pasta. read more

One of the top Italian spots in Fort Lauderdale. They are always packed and for good reason. First, the valets are true gentlemen who always greet us with big smiles and warm welcomes. The waiter, Martino, is another gentleman who made our experience unforgettable. He is so friendly and provides great recommendations. He checked on us throughout the entire meal. I ordered the chicken Milanese which was piled high with arugula, tomatoes, and onions. I also added some balsamic on the side which I highly recommend. I also tried the pork chop special which was stuffed with cheese. I vote for this to become a permanent menu item, it was so delicious! Old school Italian take does a good job with everything, from classics to more inventive fair. Our waiter seemed to come out of the Sopranos, in a good way, and I felt transported to Brooklyn. All of the waiters are friendly and go above and beyond to make everything special. Martino is the absolute best!! He made our experience amazing. They have stuffed squash blossoms on the menu, which is a favorite of mine, however I did not order them I had the Dine out Ft. Lauderdale menu, which is 3 courses. The first course was the best! Cheese, wrapped in Italian cured meat, topped with zucchini slices. Amazing! I had branzino for my entree, with slices of very thin, fried artichokes. The fish was cooked to perfection. Casa is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Florida. The food. The atmosphere. The service. Are all fabulous. The Ft. Lauderdale location is in a strip mall and is covered by trees and lights. I was once there for Xmas and Steve monterano of Cafe Monterrano, was there in a private area with his family. So that speaks volumes in itself. When a top chef chooses casa d Angelo. They have other locations. I have never been. I hear Ft Lauderdale is the best. I haven't personally tried the other two. Boca and Hallendale. . All the food is excellent. Absolutely horrible return visit with a couple we promised a wonderful dinner. We sat 2 hours and never got our main dishes. An hour to get a simple appetizer. Server did not keep beverages and wine glasses full. No update on delay. One of the specials when the dinner did come did not match what the server explained. Completely unacceptable. Manager did comp our meal but money isn't the issue. We are embarrassed and will NEVER return. Cafe Vico nearby and Osteria Aqua Farina offer better food served by helpful staff in a timely manner. The management should be ashamed. Nothing about this visit is acceptable. Save your money and go somewhere where they care about your business. read more

This is our second time here, and I must say it gets better with each visit. We only come once a year since it's definitely a splurge, but it's absolutely worth it. The service, the food, and the ambiance are all fantastic. As you can see, we tried a little of everything--even ordering two drinks, both of which were delicious and strong. They have so many amazing specials, and this time they even had truffle! I decided to pass on it, but it's great to see such premium options available. It made for a perfect date night. Day 4 in Fort Lauderdale, I craved Italian food, specifically stuffed zucchini flowers, so we headed to Casa D'Angelo. Twenty years ago, today, we had our wedding celebration at Casa Di Angelo, Wine cellar private room. Today, we returned to relive such wonderful experience, and it was truly emotional and unforgettable. Everything we ate was spectacular, and what impressed us the most is that the food quality remains exactly the same after 20 years -- consistent, authentic, and absolutely delicious. A huge part of what made this visit so special was our server, Aba (A for Amazing!). Aba was attentive, warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Service was impeccable and I wish I remembered our server's name. He was Italian, they all are Italian which adds to the charm. Everything we had was excellent! Our overall experience with the service with Andrea and the team was excellent. The food was amazing. We started with the squash blossoms which were incredible. And then we also had pasta fettuccine with white truffle and butter, which was amazing and then for our main courses, we had lamb chops snapper and then the veal chop with Gorgonzola and mushroom, which was out of this world. I highly recommend Casa D'Angelo for or a wonderful dining experience. We finished off with having cheesecake and apple tart dessert which were really excellent. And our dinner paired with wines and we're done incredibly well.
