I have been here so many times, and left Google review already, but this place is truly wonderful. Have only been for lunch, but the lunch menu is nothing short of incredible. Service - welcoming, excellent, and quick to thank me for returning! I have a favorite, but they are all good. Food - everything I have tried, honestly, has been excellent. I will list them with comments: Chopped salad .... Not really chopped but very fresh, comes with entire small avocado, sliced. Really delicious, light, citrusy dressing. We always share before main. Fettuccine Alfredo - insanely tasty. As expected, rich, creamy sauce, have had with, and without, protein side., Chicken. Large sliced breast. Can also add prawns. My favorite..... but who knows, maybe the Cacio e Pepi will be awesome as well!!! Mussels atop linguine - switched up from red sauce to white wine. Very good. Speaking of mussels.... The homemade fresh small round of FOCCACIA served with meals, is excellent! Penne with vodka sauce - sadly, no longer using penne, but the larger, tubular pasta was very good. Calamari - one of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend. Chicken Parmagiana - take my review with a grain of salt, because I am not a fan of chicken parm. However, this was prepared perfectly. Just not my fav. Gave it a try because it is not my norm! My husband loved it, as does everyone else. Pizza - shared a margarita between us, great crust. We stopped by for a quick dinner and it didn't disappoint. We did make a reservation because the area was super busy when we were there. The music is a decent level, not too loud where we had to yell but loud enough that we weren't able to hear anyone else conversations. And the music was so good! We were seated quickly, and Ian was our server. We were greeted within 2 minutes. They had a salad, drink, gelato and entree special for like $27 so we did that. Ian made such good recommendations. The bolognese was delicious. You can tell the noodles are fresh. The flavor was top notch with just the right amount of spice. The house bread was really good. Warm and flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the olive oil that came with it so I did without. Salad was standard, nothing special and some of the lettuce was questionable. But the dressing was good, just wish there was a little bit more! The chicken parm was probably one of the best I've had in a really long time. Tender, juicy chicken. The pasta was cooked perfectly. We wish that we got more pasta! Ended the meal with a cookies and cream gelato, perfect. We will definitely be back! I tried Cucina Moderna for lunch on a Wednesday and I sat at the bar. I learned about the 10 for $10 lunch menu good from 11-3:00. Every entree on the menu was $10 if you buy a drink, even soda. THIS IS THE BEST LUNCH DEAL IN TOWN!! The place is really elegant. The bar area is bright and sunny with some outdoor tables. The quality of the food is top shelf. Stefanie was our bartender and she was great. They validate parking so your garage fee is free. I ordered the Avocado Chopped Salad. It was fresh and delicious! The citrus vinaigrette was superb! My BF ordered the Cesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. The amount of juicy chicken was fantastic. Our lunch came with complimentary Italian bread and olive oil. Our bottle of Pinot Grigio was half off because it was Wednesday. They also have a Happy Hour menu that runs from 11-6pm everyday. My friends and I went here for brunch because the wait at Hatch was an hour and boy am I glad we did. The place was basically empty, so our server was very attentive. I got the seasonal stuffed French toast which had candied pecans and ricotta cream. I will probably go back just for this dish. We also got their omelette which came with a side of bacon and I think it was the best bacon I have had in years. It was a thick cut and cooked to a perfect crispness. We also got their omelette which biscuits which I really enjoyed. My daughter got their kids pizza and said it was the best pizza she ever had. I tried it as well and it was very tasty. The music was too loud when we got there, but our server promptly turned it down at our request. The decor was very pretty, there was a large wall covered in fake flowers. Oh also parking was a breeze. You can park for 3 hours for free in the garage directly behind the restaurant as long as you ask your server to validate your ticket (our server proactively asked to validate our parking which I thought was nice). We went for HH which goes until 6:30 daily. We sat at the bar. Service was great. The bar counter is lit up. Drinks and food are discounted for HH. My favorite dish was the cacio e Pepe. We also had the eggplant rollatini and meatball sliders. Meatballs taste homemade. All food tasted fresh. My favorite gelato was the cookies and cream. The sea salt caramel was good too when you cut into one of the chunks of chocolate. The owner was on-site. Part of the bar is open to the outside. The restaurant was quiet with music playing in the background. The lighting could be a bit dimmer to add to the ambiance. Parking is in the garage across the street. Happened upon this place on Saturday because I was as starving and wanted something different to eat. They happened to be serving brunch on this day which they do every Saturday and Sunday from 11-3 with great cocktail options. I tried the breakfast pizza and my daughter had pasta with meatballs which she enjoyed. The prices were reasonable the service was great. Our waiter was friendly and personable. This place could be a great hot spot if people would stop waiting to go to hatch and go here. They have an indoor outdoor vibe which is great for brunch or a nice happy hour. Went to check out Cucina Moderna, which just opened about a week ago in the neighborhood. Not sure we needed another Italian spot around here, but I digress. It's a beautiful space with a great bar setup that opens to the outside. It was perfect for enjoying the nice weather we had yesterday. They've got happy hour daily from 11-6, which is a big perk. The bartender was super friendly and attentive, so props there. I just had the meatball sliders off the bar bites menu and they were okay, nothing special, but I'm hoping the food gets better as they find their rhythm. A week later I went back again and I tried the buffalo chicken bites and had to return them. I never do that. It's a shame, so much potential. The menu itself is huge, lots of options to choose from. I'll probably stop back sometime soon to try their gelato and on Thursdays for 1/2 off martinis:) read more

5 stars for the value of the weekday lunch special. $10 options including the chicken parm which comes with a lunch sized portion (plenty!) and free warm bread with purchase of a beverage of any kind. I opted for a post meal espresso which was lovely. Great (and fast) service. My meal came out to $16 with a 25% tip so you really can't beat that. So why 4 stars? It's just standard box pasta so it's hard to be too impressed by it. The outdoor seating is nice but there is a bustling highway in addition to pretty loud music which kills the ambiance a bit. They don't have alternative milk options for coffee/espressos which would be a nice addition. Still - a place I'm very happy eating at with such a good deal. I have came here twice in the past two weeks. I really like the live Spanish guitarist they have on Thursday's. It really sets the ambiance apart from any other places around here. The bar is very open and lets in lots of sunshine during the day. The restaurant is never super packed but is always a good vibe. Stopped by after a show at the Parker- it was a quick walk over afterwards. I arrived at 1015pm and they closed at 11am- several other diners were departing so it was pretty quiet. It's a beautiful space- chose to dine at the bar on the illuminated bar top. The pizza was excellent- wish I could have taken leftovers home but I was flying the next morning. The bartenders were cleaning up for the night but made the effort to interact. I didn't feel rushed. I would definitely return to try other menu items. read more

So my husband and I celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and wanted breakfast. However, that didn't work out as we were sitting across from this restaurant at Hatch but took too long. Dined here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful build out and staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed their delicious home made focaccia bread to start and wow ! It was so good! We then ordered the lasagna, pepperoni pizza, and the CM salad. The pizza is SOOO good! Had a nice crisp undercarriage and the sauce was really Good. This will definitely be our go to place for pizza and for take out! My son rated it a 10/10! The lasagna was a generous piece and was really good. You can tell it's a home made and not some Frozen store bought kind. And the CM salad was a large size and I switched the dressing for the citrus vinaigrette which was sweet and tasty! My son enjoyed the cookies n cream gelato and ate every last bite! Had a great time and the restaurant started to pick up when we were just about finished. Good to see a new spot in the neighborhood and one with good food ! David stopped by our table as well and welcomed us to the restaurant which was very nice. I'm so glad this restaurant finally opened as it's right next to my building! I think it's a great addition to the Flagler Village area. There is plenty of outdoor seating, but the inside has great decor and is aesthetically pleasing! The servers were really nice and provided us with info on their various menu specials. My husband and I ordered from the $10 lunch special (dine-in only) which you can get with a drink order. I ordered a coffee (~$4) and my husband ordered an imported beer on happy hour which was $6 so overall it was a great deal for both of us. The portions were generous and I really enjoyed my penne alla vodka which was very garlicky. I definitely want to come back for their dinner specials which seem to be regular priced entrees but includes salad, a drink, and gelato. read more

Wow factor at first glance. We were four friends who went for lunch on Monday Jan. 26. The design and openness of the space and the decor were very beautiful. The floral displays on the back and side walls were stunning and very different. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and we chose a table rather than a banquette. The chairs were very comfortable, and each table had 2 different type chairs. Very unique. The menu was large and then we were presented the Special Luncheon menu, with 10 choices for 10 dollars, with purchase of a beverage. Our waiter was very friendly, honest and informative. There was a basket of bread served, gratis, that was foccacia with onion herb and tomato. It was beyond delicious. Our choices were chicken parm, served with a pasta, grilled chicken served over Caesar salad and my choice...mussels over linguini. That each dish was delicious, served with a wonderful presentation, and plentiful is beyond belief. My dish was perfect, and I took half home. Cucina Moderna has a really great staff, the waitress was nice and professional as was the host and the bartender. Okay that's it for the positives because I had some of the worst Italian food (or food in general) from this restaurant I've had in weeks. The Eggplant Parm should have had firm eggplant but their version was soft and slimy and really who wants mush like eggplant? The chicken seemed to be of the frozen variety and while it was not soft and slimy (like the eggplant) it was hard and tough with a very disagreeable texture and had that strange terrible taste that non-fresh chicken imparts. The food is consistent because the awfulness continued with the Shrimp in Pesto and this dish was puzzling as it had the shell on the shrimp yet it was served right on top of pasta and because the shell was on the issue was - how is this supposed to be eaten? Do I take the pesto filled oily shell off with my hands? That would be messy and sloppy. The overcooked rigatoni the shrimp were served on had the texture of a cheap factory brand and I didn't bother eating that either. The shrimp turned out to be not fresh and after a bite or two I decided not to eat it anyway and that's a defeating way to solve a problem. The flower wall is adorable, Instagram worthy however as someone with long hair, my hair kept getting caught so I had to change seats 3. Drinks were delicious. If anything I'd be back to seat at the bar for just drinks in itself! 4. The food- extremely mid. Meatballs lacked flavor. The mozzarella sticks were nicely fried yet the cheesy wasn't stringy at all. I've had better pizza in most other places and Penne Alla Vodka was missing that something to make it pop. Overall I was not impressed with the overall flavor of each of my dishes 5. Food came out very quickly, didn't have to wait long. Very friendly, competent, and professional. Being from Queens - what could be more fascinating! Food was good Italian comfort food. Pizzas were excellent thin crust- we had a Margherita and added Italian sausage. We ordered lasagna, chicken piccata, and chicken parm. The lasagna and chicken parm were run-of-the meal -the Sunday Gravy is a little bland - def not a hearty bolognese. The piccata was as good as I've ever had. Strongly recommend. My family and I decided to branch out and try a new Italian place in Fort Lauderdale. Bad idea. The server was not professional or trained to a standard of service for a meal costing a family of 4 over $270. The food, service, and atmosphere did not impress and I would strongly reconsider spending your time or money here. In fact, we were not the only table that had a bad experience and witnessed many upset patrons, yet somehow, we aren't seeing any bad reviews...makes me question the validity of the reviewers. Please be mindful. The food was not authentic Italian. As an Italian family, we were very disappointed in the Sunday "gravy" red sauce which seemed like simple canned sauce from the store. The pasta is not homemade and basic box quality. We could tell that the meatballs were either frozen or made with lack of spices/no flavor.
