This restaurant is in a strip mall near Starbucks and a few other restaurants with the main store being Publix. It's incredibly clean inside, but the tables are very close to each other. Too close for me. I just did takeout. I got the pasta fagioli soup and it was good. Thinner than I am used to - more like a minestrone and a bit on the salty side. But the flavor was good. I also had the daily lunch special of 2 slices of cheese pizza and a drink for $7.99 The pizza was disappointing. The crust did not have enough sauce to cheese ratio and the sauce was bland. I wouldn't order a slice there again. I would try a pizza perhaps, but not the slice. There are so many other places that have great slices that are nearby and pizza that is good. Fantastic food and service! Stopped by on a Friday night around 6:30 grab the last table for a party at four. We were greeted right away with friendly faces from the staff and multiple people asking if we had been helped. We started off with their what should be famous garlic rolls, fluffy, and fresh ingredients. For drinks we ordered a glass of their house Cabernet Sauvignon, which was about $13 but I did see a lot of people ordering the sangria so that might be for the next trip. As far as entrées, we order the nightly special of beef ravioli, and I got it with vodka sauce , they had other options for sauce. My friends ordered the chicken piccata which they split for two, which was enough for both of them. Huge portions. We also got the rigatoni Bolognese, which was the best dish of the night. The food was absolutely delicious! Lori was our waitress and was so sweet. She had the best recommendations. She recommended a bottle of Pinot grigio and also the penne all'Arrabbiata pasta dish. The Pinot grigio was a perfect summer wine because it was a light cold and refreshing. And the pasta dish was garlicky and very flavorful! We can't wait to come back and try the penna ala vodka and the Bolognese! Also I can't forget the tiramisu! It was so light and airy! The perfect end to a perfect dinner. This owner operated Italian gem (Blare is often there making sure everything runs smoothly!) is quaint, modern, and incredibly comfortable. It's not a huge space, maybe about 50 seats inside with a handful outside, but that is part of the charm. It feels personal, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed right down to the beautiful wine glasses. Let's talk about the food because it has been consistently excellent every single time we've gone. My absolute favorite is the rigatoni bolognese. It is rich, hearty, and tastes homemade in the best way. I crave it. The Chicken Milanese is another standout, perfectly prepared, flavorful, and not overly heavy. What really impressed me, though, was how accommodating they are. One evening I asked for chicken with spinach and broccoli (not even a menu item), and they happily made it happen without hesitation. That kind of hospitality is rare. Service has been decent across the board, but Johnny is hands down our favorite server, attentive, friendly, and the kind of person who makes you want to stay for another glass of wine. Now we need to talk about the pizza because everyone raves about it, and for good reason. If you haven't gone on a Wednesday for their pizza deal, you are missing out. It has quickly become a local favorite. They also offer great lunch specials during the week, which makes it easy to stop in even when you don't have time for a long dinner. Cucino Alfresvo has only been open for about a month but one of my friends was raving about it and said she'd already been there 10 times. I decided I had to give it a try. I went with my mom for lunch on a Sunday. They had a good amount of traffic for a Sunday afternoon. They have inside and patio seating and we were given our choice when we entered. We chose to sit at a table for two inside by the window. Our server, John, came over immediately and gave us menus. I was surprised at how extensive their menu was. They have the usual pasta dishes, and pizzas, but they also have several main courses, burgers, salads, calzones, and sub sandwiches. I decided to have the Chicken Milanese Salad. It was only $15.99 and consisted of a huge piece of breaded chicken topped with arugula and shaved Parmesan. It was really good and a hefty portion. I took 1/2 home. My mom had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was also really big and piled high with meat and cheese. ($14.99). She was only able to finish about 1/2 of it and she took the other 1/2 home as well. Right after we ordered John asked if we would like some fresh garlic rolls. He brought out a plate with 2 warm rolls which was just perfect for us to have before our lunch arrived. Cucina Alfresca is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant! They provide excellent service. The food is good, and reasonably priced. The portions are large and they have so many different choices. A great new spot to check out. We were so hungry so we forgot to get pictures of our food but I will definitely be back for more and plan to get some good captures. What stood out the most was the service. Lori was incredible, made us feel like family. She gave some recommendations and really was so attentive throughout the meal. There were 4 of us and a baby and they accommodated us so nicely. The little one approved of the food, he especially like the chicken parm. I tried the baked ziti and it was delicious. I want to go back for some pizza and stromboli, they sounded delicious. We were all very happy with our food. The cozy, nicely decorated atmosphere made it extra nice. The decor was calming. We sat at a table very close to the door. The restaurant has been open a week so it was not crowded. We ordered 2x Caesar salads & a caprese salad for appetizers. For entrees, we shared the baked ziti, the vegetable calzone, the chicken pacata, and a chicken francese. Everything tasted delicious. Our server Lori was such a pleasure. She welcomed us with such great energy, that made the dinning experience all the better. The mussels were absolutely divine in the sauce. They were very spicy. I think I have a medium spice tolerance and I found it very spicy. They did give us a taste of a lemon parsley white sauce to try which was also delicious. The staff is so kind and attentive. Constantly suggesting what to try, and making sure all our foodie needs were met. The calamari was amazing, not oily, or heavy. All the pastas were fantastic. Cucina Alfresco is my new favorite place for pasta. Omg! My dinner was delicious ! I pondered on what I wanted tonight and decided on this spot after recalling seeing it earlier in the day. I'd also seen it pop up multiple times on Yelp over the past few months and today I happened to be in the plaza where it's located on an errand and spotted it. So I'm not shocked that this evening I was craving pasta. Cute, dimly lit place giving the vibes of a pizza spot with a little bit of "upscale DNA". I think it was a dim lights that gave that feel. It's a small spot but can still seat maybe 30-40 people. It's located in the Publix plaza next to Starbucks and Zuru. Plenty of parking available when I arrived around 8:45pm. I ordered Scampi for myself, Piccata for my husband, and Pomodoro for the teenager. I didn't taste the piccata but my daughter's Pomodoro was sweet, full of basil flavor and so yummy. I would definitely order that again for myself. My hubby's piccata looked really nice and he said the chicken was tender, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the piccata sauce was very nice. My Scampi was really good. The shrimp were large and juicy. My pasta was SO FLAVORFUL. I got fantastic hints of white wine, lemon, garlic, and butter and fresh herbs. I asked for spaghetti instead of linguini (personal preference) which made it all the more perfect. The only thing I would change is to cook the shrimp just a teeny bit longer. My shrimp texture was a bit gelatinous but since I got it to-go, I popped it in the air fryer for a few more minutes and that did it! I was in heaven. I can't take off a star for that because the customer service was absolutely amazing and that alone, earned my respect. Everyone was SUPER FRIENDLY! My order came out quickly and was very fresh! Went here for the first time with my bf and had an incredible experience. We had the soup of the day, pasta fagioli, garlic knots, rigatoni alla bolognese, and they even made my bf the chicken parmigiana sandwich during dinner hours since it was slower around closing, which we deeply appreciated. All of the food was served hot and fresh, and full of flavor. The servings were incredibly generous for the price -- I have enough for another meal! Went to Cucina Alfresco to celebrate my birthday with the family. I thought it was too casual and I thought I was going to be disappointed but the food was amazing! Had a terrific bottle of white wine, we had mussels, linguini with clam sauce , fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, seafood pasta , pizza and more. The food was HORRIBLE. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and pena pasta . The breaded chicken was a pre frozen chicken, the sauce tasted like it was from a jar with no additional seasoning . There is NOTHING authentic about this food . Another customer came to pick up pizza and he was so disappointed.He found out that the person that made his first pizza was not the same person that made the pizza he ordered. An Uber Eats driver waited 30 minutes for an order that was ready before I arrived but the lady was looking never asked him if he was being helped and he sat there for 30 mins waiting ( partially his fault). Then another customer wanted to order pizza and was being charge extra to change out topping. He cussed the lady out and left .I took the food home and gave it to a stray dog.... We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, the lasagna, rigatoni bolognese, chicken parm, fettuccini Alfredo, and of course garlic rolls. The garlic rolls weren't what I was expecting which would generally be oily with little chunks of garlic and some other seasonings... these were more on the dry side and didn't hit with a flavor punch right off the bat. They were more subtle but REALLY GOOD. I found myself craving another one after dinner and fortunately there were a couple left. I tried a bite from everyone's meal. There was no stand out for me. It was all executed well and with great flavor. It's hard to come across a place where you can order 5 different meals and have all of them turn out well. Cucina Alfresco delivered.
