    Breakfast plate

Outstanding service from our waiter, Troy! I highly recommend trying the pandan butter with the waffles - it's a unique and tasty addition. I had the Chorizo dish, as well as the breakfast plate the previous day, and both were absolutely delicious! It was also overall a nice stay at the Astra hotel and the caffe Ladro just downstairs.

Sweet service and good coffee- not the best Rose latte but bold and crisp flavor that I enjoyed. I am coming back here for the ambience and service.

I like this little place with vintage colors. and I tried thier pastries which is actually good. I really like the almond cake with such a strong flavor of almond and it is not very sweet thats perfect! And the raspberry cookie is fruity.

Not the first time the Ladro staff dumped the garbage on the ground.

This place is a dump! Their workers don't seem to find the need to put the trash and compost in their bins in the back, and instead drop the trash on the ground and don't bother to clean it up. I've witnessed this many times walking out the back door, and if this is how they treat their surroundings there is no way I'll trust their coffee and food and will take my business elsewhere. Have some respect for your environment and the people around you!

The place is really homey for the locals in Queen Anne. They have solid coffee and I got the Macchiato which is very strong. It wakes you up in Seattle. Their pastries are good, too. We got the quiche and it was very delish!

This coffee house has a nice atmosphere but it could be a dump and I would still go in for coffee!

The foam was so deliciously creamy. I loved the lemon flavor, and it worked well with the matcha. I think they could have done a little more lemon, but I always think that. They have lots of beautiful looking pastries to try. The croissants were especially beautiful to admire. There is ample amounts of seating, so you can choose to take your goodies or eating them inside. I went in the early afternoon, so there wasn't any line, but I am sure if you went at brunch time, it would be a whole different story. It is close-ish to Greenlake, so if you are willing to brave the hill, then it is a great post walk/ post workout spot.

Fresh Flours was such a pleasant surprise!…read more I tried the lavender matcha and it was sooo good--perfectly balanced with just the right hint of floral without being overpowering. Definitely one of the more unique and memorable drinks I've had in a while. I also got the oat and coconut cookie, which was absolutely divine. It was incredibly soft and had a great texture, with the coconut adding a really nice flavor. Honestly one of those cookies you wish you had grabbed two of. The service was also super friendly, which made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and the overall vibe felt warm and inviting. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, which is always a nice bonus. Great drinks, amazing baked goods, and kind service--would definitely come back.

A good day always starts with a good cup of coffee!…read more On our first morning in Seattle, my daughter and I found this little coffee shop nearby with excellent reviews, and it turned out to be a wonderful start to our day. My daughter ordered the June special, the Fruity Pebbles Cold Foam Cold Brew, while I chose the Brown Sugar Latte. The special drink was beautifully presented, and my daughter loved both its unique flavor and refreshing taste. My latte was made with Stamp Act Coffee, and I really enjoyed its clean, smooth, and naturally rich flavor. You can definitely tell they use high-quality beans. For breakfast, we paired our coffees with a croissant and the pumpkin nutty bread. Both were decent and convenient for a quick breakfast, though the coffee was definitely the highlight of our visit. If you're looking for a cozy neighborhood café with excellent coffee to start your day, this is a great spot to check out.

And a shoutout to the server for toasting my scone. It came out warm, not dry, not too cheesy, just how I like it. Matcha latte w/ almond milk was alright, knowing this can't be compared to what I can get at tea cafes. I love how they make this place green w/ all sorts of indoor plants. Plants do light up the area and mood given that Seattle can be so gloomy around this time. Def coming back if I'm in the area again.

It was such a warm and cozy cafe, and they had such a unique menu of offerings. Service was efficient and they were helpful. We all ordered the special latte - pistachio cardamom. It was very well done. It tasted sweet but not too overwhelming. We also ordered a few pastries to share: blueberry cornmeal muffin, raspberry lemon coffee cake, and spinach cheese bun. They had small cups with free samples of a squash bread that we all tried as well. The free bite of squash bread was actually my favorite. The raspberry and blueberry pastries were a bit dry, I probably wouldn't order again. Overall, it was a charming spot and a nice coffee to start our day

I also think it has the best coffee in Greater Fremont. (Sorry, Milstead.) They roast their own beans and do a great job. I appreciate the Italian dark-roast style, which is less tart than most. The space is bright, crisp, and clean, with a great corner location and excellent outdoor seating, when sun permits. Fremont Roasters and Vita are both Upper Fremont institutions. This is the fancier one.
